Falun Gong practitioners introduced the cultivation practice and the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Those who were interested in learning it were given information about group exercises and the teaching schedule.

A Chinese American student majoring in history completely agreed with the principles. She wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa and traditional Chinese culture.

Some people had seen Falun Gong activities before and liked the exercises. They thought the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution was irrational. Several ladies said they wished they could ask the CCP, “Why is the persecution still going on? Do you want to extend it internationally? Stop your wishful thinking!”

A Mongolian Chinese student said he agreed with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance and wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa. When he was living in China, he had used software to get through the Internet blockade and accessed persecution reports on the Internet. He saw the evil nature of the CCP more clearly when he heard that the CCP harvested organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. He believed the CCP was doomed. He said, “The Mongolians have been suppressed by the CCP for a long time. The CCP looks strong. I don't know when the Chinese people will stop tolerating it.” He planned to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations he had joined on the Epoch Times website.

Social Studies graduate Joyce Gambino showed great interest in Falun Gong. She started to learn the Falun Gong exercises at the activity and said they made her feel very relaxed. She took print materials and CDs with her to learn more and planned to join Falun Gong group exercises in Boston Park.

The Falun Gong booth was one of the most popular at the health fair. It provided a perfect opportunity for many people to find out about cultivation practice and the persecution in China, and to get started learning the exercises.
