(Minghui.org) At least 94 Falun Gong practitioners in Harbin City were arrested in March 2013. In Yilan County alone, 48 practitioners were taken from their homes. This escalated crackdown continues even now as the police go undercover, stalking and arresting more practitioners each day.

Two Practitioners in Bin County Arrested on March 5, 2013

On the afternoon of March 5, Qu Shuqing and Sun Yaoqing from Bin County, Heilongjiang Province, were arrested by police and taken to Fendou Police Station in Binzhou Town. An hour later, Qu Shuqing was released, but Sun Yaoqin was transferred to the Second Detention Center in Bin County.

Tonghe County Police Arrest 15 Practitioners on March 7-31 and Extort Tens of Thousands of Yuan

Tonghe County police in Harbin arrested 15 practitioners in March 2013 and extorted money from them. Two others were robbed. The details are as follows:

An instructor from the Domestic Security Team in Tonghe County, along with eight police officers from the Domestic Security Team and Qinghe Town Police Station, went to the home of Mr. Zhang Yingqi, a Falun Gong practitioner at Qinghe Town, and arrested him. The police later released him after extorting 10,000 yuan from his son.

The police also broke into the home of Ms. Xu Xiuying, another Qinghe Town practitioner. She was not home at the time, so the police then extorted 10,000 yuan from her family. They also broke into the home Liang Yuzhi, a practitioner from Hantian Village in Qinghe Town. They stole a printer and Dafa truth-clarification materials, including the Minghui Weekly publication. Liang Yuzhi was forced to become homeless.

On March 7, Mr. Li Yongzhong from Nonghe Town, Tonghe County, was arrested and taken to the local police station and Domestic Security Team in Tonghe County. The police extorted 5,000 yuan from his family before releasing him.

A practitioner couple, Xing Bo and Meng Xianjun, in Tonghe County were arrested on March 11.

On March 14, a practitioner family, Zhang Xiaodan, Li Min, and their daughter, were arrested and later released.

A practitioner couple, Wang Xuhui and Sun Guirong, were arrested on March 15 by officers from the third police station at Qinghe County. After having 5,000 yuan extorted from them, they were released the same day.

On the evening of March 29, officers from the Domestic Security Team in Qinghe County and Nonghe Town police station broke into Mr. Yan Fangjun's home and arrested him.

Huang Fengyun, Zhang Xiaolin, and another female practitioner identified as Ms. Sui were arrested on March 29 and taken to the Qinghe County Police Station.

Xu Huaian from Fulin Village of Qinghe County was arrested by the local Domestic Security Team on the morning of March 30.

On March 31, Mr. Zhang from the Fourth Village of Nonghe Town of Tonghe County was arrested by the Tonghe Domestic Security Team.

Ten Practitioners in Harbin Urban Area Arrested on March 11-25

Ms. Huo Chunxia and six other practitioners living on Baling Street in the Nangang District of Harbin City were arrested on March 11 by the Domestic Security Team from Beijing. They are now in the Second Detention Center of Harbin. Officers Liu Xianyi and Wu Lin from Lujia Police Station in Harbin hid near Ms. Huo's home waiting to arrest her.

Ms. Qi Yu'e was arrested at 2 p.m. on March 15 by Jianzhu Police Station officers because she had distributed Shen Yun DVDs in Nanjun Community in the Xiangfang District in Harbin.

Ms. Wang Qiuxia, 57, was arrested at her home in the Acheng District on March 20. The police stole at least 10,000 yuan in paper currency that had messages about the persecution written on them, plus additional personal property. They threatened her family that she would be sentenced to prison. She was transferred to Harbin Second Women's Detention Center that same night.

Ms. Meng Hong, 73, who lived on Xuefu Road in the Nangang District, was arrested at home on March 25 by officers from Nangang Police Station. She is now in Heilongjiang Women's Prison.

Sixteen Harbin Practitioners Arrested in Shenyang City on March 21-28

Practitioners Fu Hui and others were arrested at Shenyang Station on March 21. They had gone to Shenyang to participate in a Falun Gong exercise activity outside.

Liu Zhanjun, Liu Zhanhai, Zhao Hongwu, Liu Caifeng, Liu Jinxia, Wu Qiuyan, Aunty Ren, Han Jing, etc., 14 practitioners in all, were arrested at 3:00 a.m. on March 22 at a park in Shenyang.

The families of some practitioners went to Shenyang Detention Center on March 24 to ask for their release. The police showed them the photos of the practitioners, but the families could not identify them because the practitioners had been beaten so badly that they no longer looked the same. Some family members overheard police talking about having to carry a practitioner into the detention center, which was evidence that some practitioners were severely injured.

More Than Ten Practitioners Sent to Harbin

This time more than ten practitioners from Harbin and Daqing were arrested when they got off the train at Shenyang. Harbin police ordered Shenyang police to arrest them. Internally, the police called this arrest the "F3-21 Big Case."

Ms. Hanjing and another practitioner from Heilongjiang Province took the 9:10 a.m. train to Shenyang on March 28. They were arrested before the train reached Shuangcheng. Their families are still waiting for information from the police.

48 Practitioners in Yilan County Arrested on March 29-31

Many officers from Yilan County police stations broke into practitioners' homes, arrested them, and stole their belongings at around 9:00 p.m. on March 29. They stalked practitioners or hid in the vicinity of their homes with the intent of arresting them.

As of the most recent count, 48 practitioners had been arrested, some being sent to Harbin for persecution. We also know that some officers from Harbin City and Heilongjiang Province were involved in this violation. The arrests are continuing.

Details

Mo Zhikuim, Fei Shuqin, and Li Huiwen and her husband were arrested in Sandaogang on the evening of March 29. That same night, Xu Feng, Ni Chunyan, Zhang Jingjuan, and others were also arrested. Ms. Qiu Yuqin, an elementary school teacher in Dalianhe Town, and Zheng Chen, an employee of China Coal Gasification Plant, were also arrested. The police confiscated a computer from Ms. Qiu.

Ms. Jiang Lianying, 69, from Tuanzishan Village, was arrested on March 29 and taken to Harbin on the afternoon of April 1. This tragic situation left her seriously ill husband and mother, who is over 100-years old, without care. Her mother had no food or care for three days in a row after Ms. Jiang's arrest. Six other practitioners were also arrested at the same time.

One female practitioner was arrested when she arrived at home at 10:00 p.m. The police gained access to her house by breaking a window in the door. The police confiscated two computers, three printers, one CD-burner, three cellphones, ebook readers, and additional personal belongings, enough to fill two minivans. The police beat her husband (who is not a practitioner) and took him to the police station for interrogation. He was released the next day.

According to the most recent information, Li Yanjie, Li Dapeng, Shi Fengxian, and Zhang Xiaohui were arrested locally. Mr. Sun Lili, visiting from Dalianhe Town, was arrested by Fangzheng County officers. His brother, Mr. Sun Chunlei, was arrested at his shop in Fangzheng County. Mr. Fei, was arrested in Sandaogang. Also, the police pounded on the door of Zhang Guodong's and Zhang Lizhu's home for 24 hours.

Wang Jiarong from Dalianhe Arrested at Home on March 31

A total of 23 practitioners in Yilan Town, Dalianhe Town, Sandaogang Village, and Tuanshanzi Village were arrested on March 29-31. Officers transferred eight of them to Harbin at 4:00 a.m. the next day. The other 15 practitioners were kept in the Yilan Detention Center and their families were forbidden to visit them.
