(Minghui.org) I have missed many chances of letting people know the facts about Falun Gong as I have walked along my path of cultivation. I am a school teacher, and deal with many people daily. I used to clarify the facts only to my own students, and never dared to tell them about Falun Gong until I had become very familiar with them. I seldom brought up the issue directly and explicitly, as I was concerned about what their attitude towards Dafa might be. Therefore, my truth clarification efforts were fairly limited. By looking within, I found many obstacles in my human notions that kept me from talking to people about Falun Gong. I was afraid that I could be reported to the police, that I could be misunderstood by my students and colleagues, and that they might complain. Above all, I was worried that I could be arrested and tortured, and that I could be removed from my post at work. All of my worries could be traced back to my selfishness. According to my observations, many fellow practitioners who could do well at the three things were quite free from the attachment of being afraid, which is the reason why they were rarely persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). But in contrast to them, I had immense fear in my mind. What should I do?
To try to get rid of my attachment to fear, I read many articles on the Minghui website on this topic, so that I could learn from other practitioners. Many practitioners suggested that diligently studying the Fa and sending forth righteous thoughts would help cure the problem.
From 2008, I began to send forth righteous thoughts and directed my thoughts to shatter the attachments of fear and lust that were hidden deep within my dimension, and always asked for Teacher's help. Two years later, however, I still found traces of these attachments in my mind, in countless layers. I said to Master: “I would accept it if it was a test arranged by Master, however, if it is something the old forces have forced upon me, I shall negate them entirely. Let all particles, from the microscopic to the macroscopic within my dimension, receive this message.” I kept sending forth such a thought from then on, as well as studying and reciting the Fa diligently.
The school's management had arranged for me to be in charge of only one class, which meant that I could only clarify the facts to that single group of students. However, I thought it would be good if I could be assigned to teach some optional courses that were not counted in the students' qualifications, and then I could make use of such chances to let more students know about Falun Gong, and I could ask them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
It so happened that my school had one optional course. Among the more than 100 teachers, no one was willing to teach it and the school did not want to hire a teacher from another school to do it. So I decided to go to the management and tell them that I would like to teach the course. I was told that I could teach the two courses provisionally, but that I would go back to teaching just my original course if the students in the new course responded to me negatively. I expressed my gratitude for the opportunity, knowing full well that it was a perfect arrangement by Master to help save more sentient beings. As a practitioner, Master arranges everything for me. My chance had come, but I was not quite sure if I could do it well, as it was a difficult field that was quite different from what I had learned 20 years ago. However, I decided to go ahead. I thought: “Miracles will fall upon me now that I have Master by my side and Dafa in my mind.” I then went to the dean's office to collect my textbooks for the new course. It was a liberal arts class, and nothing problematic happened all the way up to the mid-term examinations.
When I was marking the students' exam papers, the headmaster came to me and told me that according to their observations I had done well in teaching the new course, and that after the mid-term examinations I would only teach the new course and drop my original one.
Several days later, I was assigned to teach the new course to nine classes of a certain grade. At the time the school was being inspected by the provincial educational officers to evaluate its performance in the education reforms. In response to that, the school decided to add the new optional course in to the curriculum for science students. So naturally I got the chance to talk to more people about Falun Gong.
I sent forth righteous thoughts for my students intensively, and as a result, my students asked me to tell them about Falun Gong whenever I was teaching. Their attitude was humble and sincere. For instance, when the students could not concentrate on the class and began to mess around, they would immediately become silent when I began to talk about Falun Gong, and they would listen to me attentively. I once said to my class: “Do you really want to know the facts about Falun Gong? Do you all want to listen? If one of you does not, I will not talk about it and will go on with our lesson.” All I heard was a unanimous, “Yes!”
I said: “You have learned about Falun Gong in your moral education classes in elementary school, Right? What you have learned about Falun Gong from these classes is not true. They are slanderous and deceitful. They were fabricated by Jiang Zemin's regime, only to make you and others hate Falun Gong.”
I then told my students all about the suspicious details that were presented on the media's reporting of the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square. I told them of how, in a very short space of time, the police were able to be on the scene with fire extinguishers. The broadcast video of the event also showed that one of those who self-immolated, Ms. Liu Chunling, was not killed by the flames, but was murdered by a man who struck her head from close range. Another person who allegedly self-immolated, Wang Jindong, had his eyebrows and hair left intact while his whole body was burnt. In particular, the plastic bottle between his legs that was supposedly filled with petrol remained untouched by the flames. The young alleged self-immolater Liu Siying was able to speak very clearly after supposedly having surgery on her trachea, when she was interviewed by a reporter at the hospital.
In the process of analyzing this new information, you could see the students carefully digesting it, and many of them came up with good questions to better understand things.
I went on to tell my students about the health benefits of Falun Gong, and told them that many people who had been labeled with having incurable illnesses by doctors got better soon after they starting practicing Falun Gong.
I continued to tell them about quitting the CCP. I said: “Despite the CCP's desperate suppression of Falun Gong, the practice has spread to more than 100 countries around the world, and is a precious gift from the universe. In its persecution of Falun Gong, the CCP will fall. Since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party many people have publicly announced their withdrawal from the CCP and its affiliated organizations on the Epoch Times website, thus securing themselves a bright future.”
A common response from the students was: “Why should we quit?” I told them: “When you pledged to be a member of the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers, you swore that you would sacrifice your life for the CCP. Do you know that by making that pledge, you planted the most vicious curse upon yourself and the CCP carved the mark of the beast on to your soul? Heaven will soon destroy the CCP. If you do not quit it, the mark will not be removed by heaven. When its end comes you will have to go down with it. How treacherous the CCP is! It deceives you into forfeiting your soul to it. Will you go along with that?” They all replied, “No.” I then told them that I would find a way to quit the CCP's affiliated organizations for them, which they happily agreed to do. I added: “Do not forget to tell what you heard today to your friends and relatives so that they can also be saved.”
In the following month, whenever I went to a new class, the first thing the students asked me to do was to tell them about Falun Gong. Very few of them disagreed with what I told them. After the class some of them asked me to teach them the Falun Gong exercises, and others asked me for the Dafa books.
Slowly but surely I was able to set myself free from the attachment of fear through my truth clarification work to the students, and more and more students came to understand the facts about Falun Gong.
Master said:
“As you know, many people turn a blind eye as we canvass the streets passing out flyers and invite people to do cultivation. And moreover, people have been made fearful as a result of the many lies the evil CCP has disseminated through its propaganda and as it has sabotaged things in various ways. And that’s not all. Something also holds true around the world, namely, that many people will, if they do truly wish to start cultivation, encounter blockage from the notions that they have formed since birth. That’s for sure, and so they won’t be able to enter. And so in this circumstance it is again hard to save people. But with that said, [ultimately] these ordeals are people’s own, and if Dafa disciples can manage to save them, then with that alone, the disciples are extraordinary. That’s because for those lives to obtain the Fa they have to meet with major challenges, and only then, if they can obtain it under those circumstances, will it count. With everything no longer being suitable, a person is considered amazing only if he can do that. He must, amidst the hardships and the suffering, and under the influence of an array of karma and notions accumulated over many lifetimes, which serve to bury him, manage to recognize the Fa, cultivate, and return, as well as manage to realize what’s happening when Dafa is saving him or her. It really is hard. These are the circumstances that we are faced with. And that is why Dafa disciples not only have to cultivate themselves well, but also fulfill their historic mission: to save sentient beings.” (“2012 International Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital”)
Through my teaching I was able to save my students, who had been too long brainwashed by the CCP's most intensive and poisonous deceit. Seeing my wish to save the students, Master helped me and arranged my path of truth clarification so that I could help to save them. This way I was able to clarify the facts to more than 1,000 young students in a timely manner.
