(Minghui.org) While installing satellite dishes for people in Huanghuadianzi Village, Aohan County, in Chifeng City, Falun Gong practitioners Bao Wenju, Bao Wenrong, Wang Xiufeng, Wang Zhigang, Ma Xiaoguang and Jia Bin were arrested by Gong Chuanxing, the head of Chifeng Domestic Security Division and twelve police officers on December 21, 2012. Another local villager Chen Zhiyong (a non-practitioner) was arrested as well.
On the detention notice that the practitioners' family members received, the column where the names of people handling the case is supposed to be written was left blank. Furthermore, the notice did not have any signature, but only an official seal from the Aohan County Police Department.
Later that day in the evening, Gong Chuanxing led a group of officers, going from house to house in the village, looking for satellite dishes. After they found them, they forcibly took them down. They are still searching for dishes and have forbidden the villagers to use them.
The seven people arrested are currently detained at the Aohan Detention Center. The practitioners' family members went to Aohan Police Department many times to demand that the police release their loved ones. But the police officers turned them away and even refused to give them any explanation. It was learned that Mr. Wang Zhigang was persecuted very severely. The doctors and nurses were called in to the detention center twice each day. It was recently learned that Mr. Wang's arms and legs were broken after being severely beaten. His family is extremely worried about him. They have decided to sue Gong Chuanxing and other police officers for persecuting the practitioners.
Wang Zhigang, Bao Wenrong and Bao Wenju's family members, a total of six people, traveled one day and night. They arrived at the Aohan Domestic Security Division at 8 a.m. on January 10, 2013. They requested to meet with their loved ones. One female officer, whose surname is Wang, said that Gong Chuanxing was out of the office that day. Later, the officer said Gong went out to search for satellite dishes, and he may come back two or three days later. The family members said they heard that practitioners had been severely beaten and they wanted to see them. Wang said: “Who beat them? We all treat them very nicely. We even help them put on and take off their clothes.” The family members asked: “If you weren't abusing, interrogating and torturing them, wouldn't they be able to dress themselves?” Wang kept silent for a while and then said: “That's because we handcuffed them.” The family members asked to see the video or audio recording of the interrogation. Wang then became irritated. At that time, Gong came in. As soon as he entered the room, he shouted loudly: “So many of you came today, who are you with? Turn in your IDs, none of you will leave here today!” After that, he phoned the Xinhui downtown area police station.
After a short while, about twelve plainclothes police officers came in, all of them in their 20s. The head of the police station was there too. As soon as he entered the room, he demanded that Wang Zhigang, Bao Wenrong and Bao Wenju's family members go with him to the police station. Wang Zhigang's uncle was dragged downstairs from the fifth floor to the first floor. All of them were forced to go into the police car.
At the police station, Wang Zhigang's uncle was isolated and detained in a room by himself. All the other practitioners' relatives were locked up in another room. They were called into the interrogation room one by one. The police demanded to know their names, where they came from and who told them to come there. They said, “We didn't do anything wrong, we just want to visit our family members who were arrested and detained by you. And now you want to detain us!” That day, the practitioners' relatives were detained in the police station for six and a half hours before finally being released.
For the past several years, Gong Chuanxing has very actively taken part in the persecution of Falun Gong. He has employed all kinds of despicable means to threaten, arrest and extort money from the practitioners, as well as ransack their houses. Many practitioners have been sent to prisons or brainwashing centers by him, causing great pain and irreparable losses to their families. As a reward for his crimes, the CCP once promoted Gong to head of the local 610 Office. After he retired, he was employed by the Aohan Police Department to continue persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
