(Minghui.org) The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren International Exhibition was recently held in Ra'anana, Israel. Many locals attended the exhibition to view the paintings and gain a new perspective on Chinese culture. The exhibition has toured over 200 cities in 40 countries since 2004.
A guided tour provided information about the participating artists and their paintings to the attendees. The artists live by the ancient Chinese spiritual discipline called Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong. The practice consists of exercise, meditation and living in accordance with the principles of Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance).

The artwork displayed at the exhibition is painted in realistic style. It speaks of faith, choosing a way of life, harmony and peacefulness, sometimes in the midst persecution. The communist regime has brutally persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners in China since 1999, often subjecting them to unlawful detention, slave labor and torture.
Contemplating the paintings, many viewers realized the importance of taking a stand against the harsh persecution of Dafa practitioners taking place in China. "I believe this is the essence of this exhibition," said Ms. Elen Edelman, the coordinator of the exhibition in Ra'anana.
