(Minghui.org) Six people were reportedly arrested and taken to the Jilin Province Brainwashing Center, as ordered by the Huadian City 610 Office. Police officers broke into the homes of Falun Gong practitioners at around 4:30 a.m. on November 16, 2013, arrested the practitioners, and took them to the Jilin Province Brainwashing Center. As some practitioners were not at home, their family members were arrested, based on the guilty by association policy.
The arrested practitioners included Ms. Liu Jinhuan from Xi'antun, Jinsha Township, Ms. Qin Cuiping from Huadian City, and Xiaomei, a relative of a practitioner. Further information will be provided after more investigation.

More than ten officers from the Huadian Police Department and Jiapigou Police Station climbed through a window of an older woman practitioner's house at around 5:00 p.m., on November 16, 2013.
They intended to arrest her son-in-law, also a practitioner, but he was not at home at the time. Police officers called his wife, Xiaomin, who is not a practitioner, and told her to come home. The officers were heard saying, “It's also OK to arrest her.” Xiaomin was then taken to the Jilin Province Brainwashing Center.
Other officers from the Huadian City Police Station went to Ms. Yu Mei's mother's home and knocked on the door at 4:30 a.m., that same day, claiming to be there due to an investigation. The family did not open the door. The police finally left at 8:30 a.m.
Approximately five officers from the Shengli Police Station went to practitioner Li's home and loudly knocked on the door at around 4:30 a.m. on November 16, 2013, but failed to arrest the practitioner.
More than ten officers from the Huadian Police Department and the Jiapigou Police Station tried to arrest Ms. Meng Wenguang, a teacher at Jiapigou Elementary School, at 5:00 a.m. on November 16, 2013, but failed.
The police, the Huadian City Education Bureau, and Ms. Meng' employer later threatened her, saying that she must go to the Jilin Province Brainwashing Center or be fired.
