(Minghui.org) A Falun Dafa nine-day video-lecture series was held in the Tianti Bookstore in Manhattan, New York, beginning on November 8, 2013, a month after the store officially opened.

Over the course of nine days, participants watched videos of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, teaching the cultivation practice; learned the five exercises; shared experiences; and asked questions.

The event was attended by 15 people who responded to a simple signboard announcement outside of the bookstore: “Falun Gong Nine-day Video-lecture Series, Free to Join!”

Several practitioners also attended the event, including Ty, a personal fitness trainer, who said that she felt a strong energy field surrounding her body while watching the videos.

She noted that another participant, Jane, had undergone big changes within three days of watching the lectures. It was Jane's first experience with Falun Gong. On the first day, she did not look very well, but the next day, she looked much better. On the third day, her face literally glowed.

The bookstore offers a perfect opportunity for people to familiarize themselves with the practice itself and learn the exercises.
