(Minghui.org) Recently, police from Qingyang City, Gansu Province, broke into the homes of many Falun Gong practitioners to harass them and their families. They were threatened, and their homes were ransacked.

1. Ms. Hui Caiqin Harassed and Robbed

Officers Han Guangjun and Gao Xiaofei (female) from the Xiaojin Town Police Station in the Xifeng District, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, broke into Ms. Hui Caiqin's home to harass her on July 16, 2013. As soon as they entered, they ripped a Falun Gong truth-clarifying calendar off the wall. Officer Gao asked where the calendar was from.

They illegally entered and searched different rooms, then attempted to force Ms. Hui to sign her name and put her fingerprint on a paper. She did not cooperate.

2. Ms. Mao Caizhen's Family Harassed

Jiang Xiaoming, Party secretary of Xiaojin Village, Xiaojin Town, and three officers from Xiaojin Police Station (one of them female) broke into Ms. Mao Caizhen's home on July 15, 2013. At that time, Ms. Mao was at the hospital taking care of her father. The police asked her son, “Is you mother still practicing Falun Gong? Do you still have the Falun Gong materials at home? Where does your mother live?” Her son said she lived in the house next door. The police then went into the house and searched but did not find anything and left.

Officers from the Xiaojin Police Station and Xifeng District Police Department drove two vehicles to Ms. Mao's home to harass her again on July 16. Her neighbors said nobody was at home. The police waited for a while and then left.

3. Ms. Yang Xiufang Harassed

Officer Han Guangjun from Xiaojin Town Police Station and two other officers broke into Ms. Yang Xiufang's home on July 16, 2013. When Ms. Yang asked who they were, they said, “We came to check on you.”

Then they started to search her house. They trashed all the rooms and finally found a truth-clarifying calendar. They asked, “Where did this calendar come from? Did you make it yourself?” A female police officer said Ms. Yang's children's future school careers would be affected because she practiced Falun Gong.

Then the police pulled out a notebook and told Ms. Yang to sign her name. She refused to and said, “If you like this calendar, please take it and keep it safe.”

4. Ms. Shi Xiqin Harassed and Robbed

At 11 a.m. on July 15, 2013, three officers (two in uniform, one in plainclothes) from Xiaojin Town Police Station broke into Ms. Shi Xiqin's home to harass her. Officer Han asked her, “Do you still go out every day and talk to people about Falun Gong? Do you still practice Falun Gong?” Ms. Shi said, “I am exercising my right to freedom of belief.” Then she started to clarify the truth of Falun Gong to the police. In the end, the police said they wouldn't harass her again.

However, the next morning at around 11 a.m., officer Zhu Changsuo from Xifeng District Domestic Security Division and eight or nine others, some in uniform and others in plainclothes, drove in two police vehicles to Ms. Shi's home again. They ordered her to hand in her copy of Zhuan Falun. She clarified the truth to them very calmly. One officer took photos throughout the house. Another male and female unlawfully entered other rooms to search. In the end, they confiscated two decorations, a table calendar, and a wall calendar.

The female police officer asked Ms. Shi's daughter-in-law, “Do you know if the Falun Gong practitioners came to your house very often? Did you see what your mother-in-law did when she went out? Did you see if she had any Falun Gong materials and DVDs?” The daughter-in-law said, “I don't know.” Officer Zhu Changsuo claimed they were "doing a revisit" in order to gloss over their illegal search. In the end, they did not find anything and had to leave.

Four officers from Xiaojin Town Police Station (three male and one female, with only one of the male officers in uniform) broke into Mr. Cao Qiangqiang's home at 2 p.m. on July 15, 2013. The next day at 3 p.m., 12 officers including Xifeng District Domestic Security Division captain Zhu Changsuo and police from Xiaojin Town Police Station broke into Ms. Liu's home to harass her again. Zhu Changsuo asked her, “Are you still practicing Falun Gong?” She did not answer.

Then Zhu Changsuo threatened her, saying, “If it wasn't because of your health, I would have already sent you to the forced labor camp for talking about Falun Gong.” Then he had the officers ransack her home. They searched the entire house and made a mess. They took an MP3 player inside a cloth bag and a few necklaces. Zhu Changsuo also told a female officer to take all the clothes out of the cabinets and find Master Li's photo. They took the photo and threatened Ms. Liu again, saying, “We could arrest you just for these few things.” Another officer filmed everything without permission.

Six plainclothes officers in two vehicles broke into Ms. Liu's home again around 2 p.m. on July 17, 2013. A male and female police officer waited outside the door. Two searched the living room, and two went into Ms. Liu's room to search. One of them talked to her husband. One used a cellphone to take photos. One asked her, “Are you still practicing Falun Gong? Does your son practice Falun Gong? Where is your son?” Ms. Liu said her son did not practice Falun Gong. She asked where the police were from, but they did not answer. Two officers checked the bookshelf again and again. They found nothing and left.
