(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, one Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xiaoling Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Li Xiaoling, Ms. Mi Jinying and Mr. Xu Qiming from Shizhong District were arrested by officers from the Rencheng District Police Department and the Changgou Police Station, when they distributed information about Falun Gong in Changgou Town, Rencheng District, on June 19, 2013.

Ms. Mi and Mr. Xu were released after 18 days. Ms. Li was incarcerated in the Jining City Detention Center and subsequently sentenced to 4 years in prison in October 2013.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Over 10 Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Guo Baoshi, his wife Ms. Liu Aichun, and their 5-year-old daughter, as well as Mr. Wang Yiyong, Mr. Xu Juntao, Ms. Chen Xiu, Ms. Wang Haixia, Ms. Sun Yingying, Mr. Ba Guannan, Mr. Kang Ning and others from the Traditional Culture School affiliated with the Xiongshi Modern Fine Arts Design College of Shenyang were arrested on October 23, 2013.

3. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wu Zhonglun Sent to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wu Zhonglun from Xianan District was arrested while on his way to work on the morning of October 22, 2013. He was taken to the Xianning City Brainwashing Center.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Hu Xiuyun Arrested; Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Hu Xiuyun from Taiping Town, Dujiangyan, was arrested by officers from the Qingchengshan Police Station on October 18, 2013. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xiao Zhanghe Arrested, Subjected to Brainwashing

Mr. Xiao Zhanghe from Dujiangyan Town was arrested on October 22, 2013. Members of the Tianma Comprehensive Management Office rushed into his house and took him to the Tianma Town Office, where they forced him to undergo brainwashing.

6. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jiang Xiufang and Ms. Yun Niang Detained

Ms. Jiang Xiufang and Ms. Yun Niang from Zhangshuxia Village were arrested in Longping Town while distributing information about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Wuxue City No.1 Detention Center by officers from the Longping Town Police Station.

7. [ Baoqing Town, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ning Tingyan Arrested

Ms. Ning Tinyan from Baoqing Town, Shuangyashan City, was arrested while handing out booklets about Falun Gong in October 2013.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Huichun Arrested

Ms. Wang Huichun from Daxing District was arrested on October 24, 2013. Police ransacked her home.

9. [Shanghai] Mr. Xu Jianxin Detained

Mr. Xu Jianxin from Minxing District was arrested on October 22, 2013, by officers from the Xinqiao Police Station in Songjiang District. He is being held at the Songjiang Detention Center.

10. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Long Qingzhen Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Long Qingzhen was arrested by officers from the Lingquan Police Station in Hedongxin District on October 24, 2013, while she spoke to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials. Ms. Long was held in a brainwashing center for 12 days.

11. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Centers

Ms. Zhuang Rong, Ms. Wang Fei, and Ms. Tao Zairong were arrested by officers from the Nanjing City and the Lishui Domestic Security Divisions on October 23, 2013. Currently, Ms. Wang and Ms. Tao are being held at the Baima Brainwashing Center in Lishui District; while Ms. Zhuang is being held at the Nanjing Brainwashing Center.

12. [Ruian City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Fan Meihong and Ms. Dai Shengnu Arrested

Ms. Fan Meihong and Ms. Dai Shengnu from Mayu Town were arrested on October 21, 2013, in Aojiang Town, Pingyang County, while explaining the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to people. Agents from the Pingyang County Domestic Security Division took Ms. Fan to the Longwan District Detention Center in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Ms. Dai was released due to high blood pressure.

13. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Chunhua Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Dong Chunhua from Woluozi Village, Zuocun Town, was arrested at home on October 21, 2013. She is being held in the Dianzi Township Brainwashing Center.

14. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Three practitioners, including Ms. Huang Yindi and Ms. Tan Meili from Jiujiang City, were arrested by officers from the Penpu Police Station in Xunyang District on the morning of October 24, 2013, for telling people the facts about Falun Gong near Yanshuiting, Xunyang District. They were taken to a detention center.

15. [ Tianjin] Mr. Zhang Zheng Detained

Mr. Zhang Zheng from Tianjin was arrested on October 23, 2013, while handing out informational materials about Falun Gong. He was taken to a detention center.

16. [Jiagedaqi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Mingyue and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Yang Mingyue and her husband, from Daxinganling District, were arrested on October 21, 2013. The 610 Office agents and local police pretended to be furnace maintenance staff and tricked the couple into opening the door. The husband was released a day later.

17. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhu Chen Sent to Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Zhu Chen was arrested at home on October 23, 2013. The police confiscated her Falun Gong informational materials and books, as well as other items. Ms. Zhu is currently held in a forced labor camp.
