(Minghui.org) In public places in mainland China, although the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is still in power, ordinary people now dare to talk honestly about the CCP. Ordinary Chinese citizens with a conscience are beginning to realize the true nature of the party. Some are sympathetic to Falun Gong practitioners, and some want to quit the CCP.
(Report from Hubei Province) On the afternoon of July 4, 2013, in Hubei Province, a practitioner and I went out to clarify the facts about Falun Gong and hand out truth-clarification DVDs.
At 10:00 a.m., I was explaining the facts to the driver of a sedan and was just ready to give him an amulet inscribed with "Falun Dafa Is Wonderful." Suddenly four men came along. One of them grabbed my hand and demanded, "Is this about quitting the Party?"
Even though I was nervous, I quickly became clear and told him that, yes, I was helping people quit the Party. The fellow said, "We want to quit the Party, too." One was shouting, "The CCP is way too evil!" The young fellow who was talking to me said to him, "Lower your voice." The other one replied, "What are you afraid of? The CCP is extremely corrupt. All of us are CCP members, and we are also cadres in it. We want to withdraw our memberships from the Party and all of its affiliated organizations."
So we gave each of them a nickname and helped them do the "three-withdrawals." One of them asked for a Dafa amulet. I also gave them some written materials as well as truth-clarification DVDs, which they seemed very glad to get.
(Report from Beijing) The evil CCP wanted to recruit more members, so it invited activists to study its doctrines. Two people from our company were invited to study sessions. One had recently joined our company. She had relatives overseas who helped her understand the truth about Falun Gong as well as the grand scale of the Shen Yun Performing Arts shows being performed all over the world and sold-out. When her manager asked her to go to the study, she found the secretary of the CCP committee and told the secretary, "I am not an activist anymore. Please do not talk to me about this kind of thing."
The other person invited had been out of the office. When he came back to the office, others told him about the study invitation and he said he didn't want to go. When he was told that he had to respond to the invitation in person, he said impatiently, "Who still wants to join the CCP these days?" He then went to talk to the secretary.
In the end, nobody from our enterprise went to attend the so-called "activists' study."
(Report from China) Assistant at the store: "Sports outfits are very comfortable." I replied: "I practice Falun Gong. It's easy to do the sitting meditation wearing a sports outfit."
Assistant: "Where do you go to do the exercises?" I said: "At home. Practicing Falun Gong is very convenient. Also, the principles talked about in the book are awesome!"
Assistant: "No wonder you are so peaceful." I said: "Falun Gong teaches people to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be good people. If all of us could behave like that, then it would not necessary to have police officers to enforce justice."
Assistant: "That's right! I didn't really know about the CCP, I always felt that it didn't have much to do with us ordinary citizens. Recently, I saw the Shen Yun Chinese New Year show on DVD, and my husband's teacher also asked us to quit the Party. With the CCP, no matter what you want to do, you have to bribe them first, or you can't get anything done. We didn't want to see the CCP Chinese New Year evening show, but because it was during the New Year, we watched some of it. By contrast, the Shen Yun show is very peaceful and natural.
I said: "In ancient China, people believed in gods and that good and evil would be rewarded accordingly. The CCP fights with heaven and earth, and that is completely evil. Some people have become confused and think the CCP is China. The country is the country, the Party is the Party! Chinese people are the descendants of the Yan and Huang Emperors, whereas the CCP is a specter from the west. The CCP officials are occupied by ghosts, so they can't find their true selves. They indulge themselves, and can't tell right from wrong. They claim good to be bad, evil to be righteous."
Assistant: "For sure Falun Gong is not a cult--it is the CCP that is the villain! My husband and his friends all say that the CCP is hopeless! Which official in the Party doesn't go to night clubs and have illicit relationships with women? Not a single one!"
Seeing my bus was about to arrive, I said goodbye.
Assistant: "Come by again when you get a chance!"
