(Minghui.org) Mr. Jiang Zonglin, a Falun Gong practitioner and former chief of Mingyuan Building Research Center in Chendu City, was illegally sentenced in 2007 and imprisoned for five years. Upon his release on October 15, 2012, he was arrested by officers from Deyang Prison and the Jinniu District 610 Office and taken to Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

During the past two months, he was not allowed any family visits until they pressured the guards, who then allowed his wife to speak to him briefly while dropping off clothes.

For the past two months, the family knew nothing about his situation. They are deeply worried about him and hope that the outside world can help rescue him and reunite him with his family.

Mr. Jiang Zonglin is 64 years old. After he started to practice Falun Gong, he recovered from chronic kidney disease, mental illness, and chronic headaches that had tormented him for a long time. As a Falun Gong practitioner, he held himself to the standards of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and was diligent and responsible at work.

He was initially taken into custody at his home and then put on trial with 11 other practitioners. Eight lawyers from Beijing and Chengdu defended them.
