Additional Persecution News from China – December 19, 2012 (10 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 6 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Geng Liandi Arrested

1. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Zhewei and Other Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners from Xiaohabai Village were arrested by Fuyu County Police Department agents on December 10, 2012. They are Mr. Wang Zhewei (father), Ms. Wang Jingjie (daughter), Mr. Guan Hongwei, and Ms. Dang Yan’e. They have been detained at the Fuyu County Police Department since their arrests.

2. [Longxi County, Gansu Province] Ms. Li Shuying Arrested

When Ms. Li Shuying told others about Falun Gong on December 13, police arrested her and ransacked her home. She was taken to the Longxi County Detention Center.

3. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jin Yanjie and Ms. Wang Yufang Detained

When Ms. Jin Yanjie and Ms. Wang Yufang clarified the truth to students near Xuesong Elementary School on the afternoon of December 13, agents from the Changsheng Police Station arrested them and held them at a detention center.

4. [Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wu Zhutao and Ms. Ma Zhaoshan Arrested

Mr. Wu Zhutao and Ms. Ma Zhaoshan were arrested at Taiping Town on December 18.

5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jia Liqing and Ms. Yu Huazhi Sentenced

Ms. Jia Liqing, who worked at Harbin Medical University, was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment. She was sent to Harbin Women's Prison on November 28.

Ms. Yu Huazhi was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment. She is currently detained in Division 9 of Harbin Women's Prison.

6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qiao Yujuan and Ms. Han Dongying Detained

Ms. Qiao Yujuan and Ms. Han Dongying were arrested on December 13. They are now the Daqing Detention Center.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Geng Liandi Arrested

Ms. Geng Liandi was arrested in late October and then held in the Weizigou Detention Center for 15 days. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qu Shumei Detained

Ms. Qu Shumei was arrested on December 17 and taken to the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian.

9. [Jishan County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Guo Junmin Arrested

Ms. Guo Junmin from Xialian Village in Jifeng Town was arrested in late November. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Che Qicong Detained

Mr. Che Qicong was arrested on December 12, 2012. Police ransacked his home and confiscated his computer as well as other personal items. He is now in the Dezhou City Detention Center.
