(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners has recently been exposed in international society. On September 17, 2012, during the 21st session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, an NGO panel called “Freedom of Peaceful Assembly” was held at the Palais des Nations the crimes of organ harvesting in China were examined. Guo Jun, chief editor of the Epoch Times, was invited to give a keynote speech. The evidence she presented included testimony by Wang Lijun, the former police chief of Chongqing, where he spoke of harvesting organs from thousands of people. This stunned many journalists, lawyers, and medical personnel. Karen Parker, a human rights attorney and chief representative of International Educational Development, said her group was concerned about the continuing evidence of organ harvesting. Søren Espersen, member of the Presidium of the Danish Parliament, the second deputy speaker, and member of the central board of the Danish People's Party, expressed that the organ harvesting is an international human rights crime.

丹麦议会副主席索伦•艾斯普森:中共所犯的是国际人权罪行
Søren Espersen, member of the Presidium of the Danish Parliament, the second deputy speaker, and member of the central board of the Danish People's Party, is being interviewed by NTDTV.

During the interview by NTDTV, Mr. Espersen expressed that he has been concerned about the organ harvesting in China. He said he has read articles about it on International Herald Tribune, an American newspaper. “It is hard to imagine that such crimes exist in the world,” he said.

Mr. Espersen said, “I am convinced that there is so much evidence now, it must be true. If it is true, it is a terrible international human rights crime that the Chinese government is committing.”

“I also now understand that we talk about ten thousand organs that go on sale from China every year. That doesn't necessarily have to be illegal sales. It could be from people that died from car crashes. But many of these, no doubt most of them, come from illegal practice that in other countries would be regarded crimes against humanity.”

When talking about the persecution of Falun Gong, Mr. Espersen said, “They must be sued. I don't believe that Chinese people would tolerate suppressing this any longer. I also learned that Falun Gong has about 100 million practitioners in China itself. I know there are lots of supporters also outside China. [Falun Gong is] a very strong movement that is very peaceful and has a very good way of looking at the world. There is no doubt that once China and Chinese people get their freedom, they will very much thank Falun Gong and similar movements, like also the catholic church, these two groups especially. I believe that there is a free future for the Chinese people. That is what I have deep hope for every day.”
