(Minghui.org) My daughter learned to play the piano and graduated from a famous music college in China. When it was time for her to look for a job, I was illegally arrested and sentenced to a forced labor camp for one year. I refused to give up practicing Falun Dafa, so I faced very severe torture and my term was extended three times.

During that time, my daughter worked on my behalf and even contacted the forced labor camp’s leaders at all levels. She also tried all kinds of ways to send me Master’s new articles and food. She went to the forced labor camp to protest how I was being persecuted, which greatly shocked and restrained the labor camp guards.

At that time my daughter had not yet began to practice Falun Dafa. She just felt that Dafa was very good, that it had changed her mother from someone with a bad temper who suffered from all kinds of diseases into a kind and healthy one. Now her mother was suffering, so she wanted to help her in any way possible.

After I was released from the labor camp as a result of resolutely resisting the persecution, the local police station and the 610 Office staff often visited our home to bother us, so my daughter and I eventually had to leave home.

Three years passed from the time I was illegally arrested until we were later forced to leave home and move from place to place. During that time my daughter hardly touched the piano. There was no doubt that she loved to play the piano, but when I came home, I discovered that she had not touched it while I was gone. When I urged her to practice, she said nothing. Eventually I got worried and asked her why she refused to practice. I said, “Maybe you do not want to find a job as a pianist?” Then my daughter started to cry and said, “I dare not play, because I have no idea how well I will be able to play. I am afraid.”

Hearing this and thinking about how she had suffered because of me during this time, I was also in tears. I told her, “It’s OK. You sacrificed for your mother and your mother is a dignified Dafa practitioner. Master will take care of you, so go ahead and practice!”

Finally she opened the lid of the piano, which had not been opened for long time. A little later she excitedly ran to me and said, “My skills did not decrease but instead my technique has actually improved, but I am not very familiar with the keyboard. I am sure I will regain my keyboard touch very soon.” Tears rolled down my cheeks again. Master’s merciful protection is everywhere!

I remember a pianist who said (roughly): “Without practicing the piano for one day, I could hear the difference myself; without playing for one week, my students could hear the difference; after a month, my audience could hear the difference.” However, my daughter had not practiced the piano for three whole years, but she actually improved her technique, which was such an incredible thing! Such miracles only could occur through Dafa.

Now my daughter teaches in a relatively large music school, and she has indeed become a Dafa practitioner. We appreciate what Master has granted us!
