August 19, 2012 |   By a Minghui correspondent from Liaoning Province, China

(Minghui.org) From July 12 to July 19, 2012, the Jinzhou City Police Department in Liaoning Province has implemented carefully planned arrests of Falun Gong practitioners. It is currently known that at least fifteen people were harassed and nine practitioners arrested, including a relative of a Falun Gong practitioner. The arrest of four other practitioners was not successful.

At around 4:30 p.m. on July 12, Falun Gong practitioners Li Guang, Yang Zhiping and Zhang Zhizhong from Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, were arrested by police officer Li Meishan from the Jinzhou City 610 Office near Tiebei. Computers, printers and other belongings from both Mr. Yang's and Mr. Zhang’s home were confiscated. The policemen even went to Mr. Yang’s mother's home to harass his elderly mother who is over 90 years old, and confiscated her belongings. At present, three Falun Gong practitioners have been detained in the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

At around midnight on July 12, police from the Jinzhou City 610 Office with officers from the Jinzhou Railway Police Department arrested Falun Gong practitioner Lu Fenghai from his work at the Jinzhou Railroad Mechanical Section and ransacked his home. Mr. Lu is now detained in the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

On July 13, police from the Jinzhou City 610 Office were trying to arrest two Falun Gong practitioners from Wang Village in Guta District. One of them suddenly suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and is now hospitalized. The other practitioner returned home safely.

On July 15, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Cui Jingyong, who is living alone in Guan Village, Yi County in Jinzhou City, was arrested by agents from the Jinzhou City 610 Office and officers from Yi County. His home was a mess after being thoroughly searched. Mr. Cui has been detained in the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

On the morning of July 18, Falun Gong practitioner Cao Liming’s mother, from Jinzhou City, was harassed by the local police using the excuse of an identification check. In the afternoon, two policemen came back again to question whether Mr. Cao lived here. At around 4 a.m. on July 19, 2012, Li Meishan from the Jinzhou City 610 Office led over ten policemen and broke into the home of Mr. Cao’s sister, who is non-practitioner. They did not find Mr. Cao. Later, policemen went to Mr. Cao’s eldest sister and second sister’s home but again failed to find Mr. Cao. The policemen confiscated an entire truckload of personal belongings from Mr. Cao’s eldest sister’s warehouse and arrested her, even though she is not a practitioner. They detained her in the Jinzhou City Detention Center. So far, the police have failed to arrest Mr. Cao.

At around 3:30 a.m. on July 19, Li Meishan from the Jinzhou City 610 Office, along with seven other people, broke into the employee residence at the Jinzhou Heavy Equipment Company, with the help of local policemen from the Nuerhe Police Station. They arrested Falun Gong practitioner Xu Huiping, confiscated his computer, money, bank card and other belongings. (His family took the bank card back later). After the arrest, Mr. Xu's son, who is an elementary school student, was left home alone and frightened.

On the morning of July 19, Jinzhou City 610 Office police officer Shan Xuezhi and local police from the Xinhua Police Station went to Goujia Village, Xinshan Street, in the Economic Development District in Jinzhou City, and arrested Falun Gong practitioner Liu Jingfu. They ransacked his home and even confiscated his car and left his wife and daughter at home with nothing in the house.

On July 19, policemen entered Goujia Village to arrest Falun Gong practitioner Wang Zhimin. Mr. Wang Zhimin escaped. The police then took his wife, Ms. Huang Guirong, to the Xingshan Police Station. Their family van was also stolen. Ms. Huang has been released recently and the family van has been retrieved.

At around 4:50 a.m. on July 19, under orders of the Jinzhou City 610 Office, Deputy Director Du from the Petroleum Police Station brought four policemen to ransack Mrs. Wang Guixia’s home. They confiscated many of her belongings. Ms. Wang escaped.

On July 19, Falun Gong practitioner Wang Shiqi, in his 60s, was arrested. The police also confiscated the satellite dish from his home. Liu Jingfu, Xu Huiping and Wang Shiqi are now detained in the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

On the afternoon of July 19, police broke into Jinzhou Falun Gong practitioner Guan Liqin’s home but failed to arrest her.

It has been learned that the Jinzhou City 610 Office is still searching for the Falun Gong practitioners who escaped arrest.

Falun Gong practitioner Xu Huiping has been vomiting blood due to being on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention in the Jinzhou Detention Center (it’s been 13 days since he started the hunger strike). However, the Jinzhou 610 Office has concealed the fact from his family and has refused to release him.

The arrests and ransacking of Falun Gong practitioners' homes is directed by the Jinzhou City 610 Office. The agency and police steal money and confiscate personal belongings at will without considering the health or family situations of the practitioners’ families.
