July 25, 2012 |   By Minghui correspondent Shirley from Hamburg

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners have been peacefully resisting the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for thirteen years. After holding a gathering in front of the Chinese Consulate on the morning of July 20, 2012, the following day, practitioners in Hamburg, Germany held a truth clarification event in the city center to expose the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and calling on the general public to help stop the persecution and inhumane practices.

At the intersection of Moeckenbergstrasse and Lange Muehren, where many Chinese people passed by, Falun Gong practitioners displayed banners in a long row. The banners read, "Falun Dafa Cultivates Both Mind and Body," "Since July 20, 1999, 3,500 Practitioners Have Been Killed, More Than 100,000 Practitioners Sent To Forced Labor Camps, and Numerous Others Have Been Displaced,” and “Death Camps Are Spread Throughout China, the Victims Are Falun Gong Practitioners.” A reenactment of live organ harvesting, with a doctor wearing a white lab coat with his hands stained with blood, immediately attracted the attention of passersby. People of different races and creeds were surprised and could not help but stop and listen to the broadcast about the CCP's live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners.

After learning the truth about Falun Gong, a woman dressed in green from Afghanistan became even more curious, and asked many questions. Before leaving, she spoke firmly, "The CCP does not like the concept of being good people. This persecution must be stopped!" Then she signed her name on a petition.

A German lady in her twenties or thirties, along with two young men, stopped at the information booth. After listening to practitioners' introduction, all of them felt very angry about the CCP's evil deeds. The young lady said, "We know too little about it. I really don't understand why such little information is reported in our media about Falun Gong."

A Turkish couple, who had taken their two-year-old son with them shopping, stopped by. The father said, "The fact that organs are harvested from living people who hold different ideas and thoughts is truly outrageous. We have always thought that the CCP was good.” His wife looked at the reenactment of organ harvesting with her mouth open and her head shaking slowly, she was in shock and speechless at the sight of the CCP atrocities.

A 60-year-old German man from Cameron looked at the reenactment of organ harvesting with a puzzled look and then asked, “What is wrong with organ removal? Why is it related to the persecution of Falun Gong?” When he learned that Falun Dafa teaches people to conduct themselves according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, he suddenly realized, “You know, this world is full of bad things, and bad people. Being jealous of others, and doing bad things is too easy, but being a good person and improving themselves, such as Falun Gong people do, is extremely difficult. Evil of course, cannot tolerate kind-heartedness, and inevitably will persecute and destroy good people. Today human beings' moral standards are declining, and it is very clear why the Chinese Communist dictatorship suppresses Falun Gong. I wish you a great success in the war against evil.”

A sprightly older lady stood not far away from the information desk for quite a long time. After reading all the banners, she thought for a while, and walked towards the booth, "Do you need my signature?" she asked. After signing the petition book, she could not suppress her excitement, and said to a Falun Gong practitioner, "Bit by bit, from a humble beginning, if we turn a blind eye to (such atrocities), the situation would be even worse."

A four-year-old boy called Nick was attracted by the practitioners' soothing and peaceful exercises. He pulled at his young dad's clothes, and both of them stopped to watch the practitioners practice for a long time without any intention of leaving. The father accepted the leaflet handed out by practitioners and said, "It is a very peaceful set of exercises, and looks so simple. I would like to learn how to do them.” The practitioner further explained to him that apart from doing the exercises, one needed to read Falun Gong books regularly, to discipline oneself in the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and to be better person. This aroused his interest more, and he expressed that he would search for the Falun Gong books online and read them.

As soon as she saw the reenactment of the live organ harvesting, a silver-haired female doctor in her sixties walked directly to the desk and asked if she could sign her name in the petition books against the CCP's violence. "It was horrible," she spoke to the practitioner standing behind the desk, “Tell me what I can do for you." The practitioner suggested that she could help by taking informational materials to her colleagues and patients. She was very pleased and took all kinds of flyers, at least 50 of each. She left, but half an hour later she came back and said, "Please give me more!"

The practitioners noted that the attitudes of Chinese people were much more generous than before. Most of them did not avoid listening to practitioners' explanations, and some stood quietly and listened to the practitioners' broadcast.

At 6:00 p.m., though the event was about to conclude, there were still passersby walking towards the information desk. People of various ethnicities all expressed their resentment towards the persecution.
