(Minghui.org) The chapter “Records of the First Emperor of Qin” in the book Records of the Grand Historian, described a historical event that happened over two thousand years ago. At that time, prime minister Zhao Gao wanted to usurp the throne of the second emperor of the Qin Dynasty. He was afraid that the other ministers would refuse to accept him, so he designed a test. He dedicated a deer to the emperor and said, “This is a horse.” The emperor said, “The prime minister is wrong. This is a deer -- but he said it is a horse.” He then asked the ministers what it was. Some ministers didn't answer. Some said it was a horse. Some said it was a deer. Afterwards, Zhao Gao secretly murdered all the minsters who said it was a deer. Subsequently, all the ministers were afraid of Zhao Gao. Later, people used “Calling a deer a horse” as a metaphor for confusing white and black, right from wrong.

Two thousand years later when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, events occurred similar to Zhao Gao calling a deer a horse, one after another, yet even more extreme. The Tiananmen Square staged self-immolation was the biggest farce which deceived and poisoned the public most severely.

Staged Tiananmen Square Self-immolation

On January 23, 2001, just four hours after the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation event, the CCP's official news agency (Xinhua News Agency) couldn't wait to release the news in order to accuse Falun Gong. Such a major event involving life and death should be investigated by the police department first for confirmation of the facts. However, the media totally ignored the law and made unauthorized allegations. Moreover, some individuals were still in the hospital undergoing medical treatment, and the police department had only preliminary/partial identification, so how could the CCP's Xinhua News Agency know the individuals' motivation and announce it to the world? Their sinister intentions of framing Falun Gong were quite clear.

1. Wang Jindong: Real Person - or Substitute?

In their report on the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation, the CCP announced that the person meditating onsite, and who shouted the slogans was “Wang Jindong” and identified him as a Falun Gong practitioner. However, upon review of the self-immolation in slow motion video released by the CCTV, this person was neither Wang Jindong, nor a Falun Gong practitioner. The left picture above is the one-inch photo released in CCTV's video. The person's features exhibit a high nose, high brow, a large rectangular ear and thin jaw. The picture on the right was the so-called “Wang Jindong” who participated in the self-immolation. He had a short nose, collapsed brow, small round ears and a thick jaw. There were significant differences in the facial appearance. If this difference was caused by self-immolation, how could the bones and ears be deformed due to burning, but the hair and eyebrows remain completely intact?

From the CCTV's self-immolation video, the meditation position of the so-called “Wang Jindong” and the slogans he shouted had nothing to do with Falun Gong, yet the CCP clearly portrayed him as “Falun Gong practitioner”.

Falun Gong practice requires sitting in the lotus position with both legs crossed during meditation, or at least a half lotus position with one leg crossed. The Xinhua News Agency claimed that Wang Jindong had been practicing Falun Gong since 1997, yet he sat with legs casually crossed with both knees raised very high, which is notably the standard sitting posture of the Chinese army, as defined by the outside media. Falun Gong requires both thumbs to be facing each other with conjoined hands, which is the most basic gesture for Falun Gong exercises. Wang Jindong's thumbs overlapped each other. These differences clearly indicate that he'd never practiced Falun Gong and couldn't possibly be a Falun Gong practitioner.

2. Plastic Bottles Containing Gasoline - Not Damaged By Fire?

The entire staged self-immolation exposed the shameless, fake and evil nature of the CCP as it persecuted good people. The plastic Sprite bottles were not damaged by the fire. How foolish and absurd were the planners of this event? In the CCTV's self-immolation video, Wang Jindong appears to have been severely burned; the cotton cloth around his chest and legs were burned and the flesh exposed. However, the two plastic Sprite bottles full of gasoline between his legs magically retained their green color and were completely intact.

Falsehood and fabrication cannot withstand history's test. In 2002, Li Yuqiang, the only reporter of the staged self-immolation case, visited the legal education center in Hebei Province (actually a location established by the CCP for illegally brainwashing practitioners). The practitioners detained there asked him about the bottles full of gasoline between Wang Jindong's legs. Li couldn't come up any excuse to cover the lies and admitted that the Sprite bottles were placed there by reporters, and that the scene was staged and added afterwards. This answer fully exposed the CCP's evil nature while persecuting Falun Gong with lies and fabrications.

3. Liu Chunling: Burned to Death, or Beaten to Death?

Liu Chunling, who died at the scene, was described by the CCP as being “burned to death” by the self-immolation. Based on slow motion video analysis, you can observe that Liu Chunling was beaten to death by someone on the scene using a heavy object.

4. Liu Siying: Did She Really Undergo a Tracheotomy, or Was this Just to Fool the Public?

In CCTV's self-immolation video, doctor Li Chi, deputy director of the Trauma Department in Jishuitan Hospital, announced that all the individuals who were seriously injured during the self-immolation required immediate tracheotomies. However, what shocked the world's medical community was that 12 year-old Liu Siying spoke fluently, with a strong and clear voice during the interview with reporter Li Yuqiang less than four days after her tracheotomy. She even sang her favorite songs in front of the audience nationwide. People with little medical knowledge knew that a person couldn't speak naturally, and certainly couldn't sing with a clear voice so quickly after a tracheotomy, since the tracheotomy incision was in the bottom of the vocal cords. This is why the international community exclaimed that the CCP “created a medical miracle!” after viewing the CCTV's self-immolation video.

5. CCTV Reporters Positioned in Tiananmen Square for the Self-immolation?

The Tiananmen Square self-immolation video included shots from various angles, including a far-view overall shot, close angle and closeup shot. We also see a reporter carrying a video camera at the scene and slowly recording video throughout the area. Normally, this type of incident is not captured easily, but the CCTV reporter “happened” to shoot the scene from multiple angles and full ranges. This is virtually impossible without prior planning and preparation.

The CCP announced that the video was shot by surveillance cameras installed in Tiananmen Square. If so, the video would consist of shots overlooking the grounds with fixed angles. However, the CCTV video provided the overall shot (picture 6), and additionally, close-angle views and facial closeups (picture 3). This camera was obviously moving and tracking the target.

When the overseas media questioned the source of those close angle and closeup shots, CCP officials said that they were taken by CNN reporters at the scene. However, the CNN international department spokesman said that their reporters didn't shoot any video, and in fact, the CNN photographer was arrested and all of his photographic equipment was confiscated at the beginning of the self-immolation. The CCP's lies were exposed once again!

On August 14, 2001, International Educational Development (IED) made a public announcement at the United Nations meeting: “Our investigation showed that it was actually the CCP authorities who staged the self-immolation and destroyed those lives.” They also announced, “The CCP authorities attempted to use the self-immolation in Tiananmen Square on January 23, 2001 to frame Falun Gong. However, we acquired a self-immolation analysis video which clearly showed that the CCP regime directed and staged the entire incident.”

The Harmful CCP Confuses Right from Wrong, Destroying the Country, the People and Itself

Zhao Gao called a “deer a horse” in order to confuse right from wrong, test the ministers' obedience and to usurp the emperor's throne of the tyrannical Qin dynasty. This event didn't do much harm to the citizens. In contrast, the CCP confuses right and wrong fundamentally, in order to deceive the Chinese people and create excuses for them to further suppress the group of good and honest people who do not fight back when physically assaulted or insulted. These actions not only harm the Chinese people and CCP, but also damage the interests of the entire country.

The people who understand Falun Dafa know that it is a high-level cultivation practice of the Buddha School, guided by the characteristics of the universe, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance”. Falun Dafa teaches people to cultivate their xinxing, be good people and improve their moral standard. At the same time, practitioners develop healthy bodies and purified minds by practicing five easy-to-learn sets of exercises. Based on the national sports bureau's sample survey results in 1998, the total effective rate of strengthening the body and curing illnesses was 97.9%. Due to their good health, each practitioner saves the nation an average of 1,700 yuan every year. Based on the 70 million to 100 million practitioners nationwide according to the Chinese media's report, Falun Gong saves the nation over 100 billion yuan ($15.7 billion USD) annually just for medical expenses (equivalent to 60 to 80 percent of the annual national education expenses, totaling 203.245 billion yuan). In addition, after the practitioners developed healthy bodies and high moral standards, they created much wealth for the society, brought the social environments in a positive direction which resulted in a multiplier effect. Falun Gong created immeasurable value for the society. Who benefited the most from Falun Gong's introduction and spread in China? The people, the country and those in power.

In 1998, former NPC chairman Qiao Shi led some CCP veteran leaders in a thorough investigation of Falun Gong. They drew the conclusion that Falun Gong had many benefits, but did no harm to the country and the people. Due to the evil nature of jealousy and shamelessness of the CCP and its leader, the CCP still launched the most ignorant and brutal persecution. They pushed hundreds of millions of good people and their families away from their benevolent roles in society, and created a huge disaster for the nation and the people. According to statistics, during the year when the CCP persecuted Falun Gong most severely, it cost the government a quarter of the national fiscal revenue (equivalent to seven to nine times the total national education budget) to maintain the persecution. In addition, the persecution of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance caused the compete collapse of social moral standards and resulted in a very negative effect. What the CCP lost could not be measured by money and materials.

Two thousand years ago, Zhao Gao called a “deer a horse” and damaged the Qin dynasty. He experienced a miserable fate, although he'd played all the tricks. For the past two thousands years, Zhao Gao was also labeled a “traitor” and “villain”, and was infamous to future generations. Today, the evil CCP confuses right from wrong, and uses the lies to poison the whole world and defame Falun Dafa – a spiritual practice which saves people. The CCP's persecution and propaganda caused countless people to misunderstand Falun Gong and subsequently lose the opportunity to be saved. All the crimes it committed have now decided the CCP's miserable fate. All the participants of the staged self-immolation, including the planners, directors behind the scenes and the performers had very pathetic endings. The CCTV self-immolation video producer Chen Meng died in 2008 due to cancer. The performers of the self-immolation were either killed or imprisoned, and lived the rest of their lives in misery. The initiators of the staged self-immolation including Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Zhou Yongkang - the culprits of the persecution of Falun Gong, were all sued in many countries around the world, and will be chased throughout their lifetimes for the crimes they've committed. We believe that when human history passes this stage, all the culprits will face the most severe and just punishment of the law and moral standards.
