(Minghui.org) Mr. Lin Chaomao is an aircraft technician at Taiwan's Air Force Base in Pintong. On the afternoon of February 20, 2012, an aircraft tire exploded and the fragments hit a young officer and Mr. Lin. Blood splattered all over the place. The explosion critically injured Mr. Lin and the officer, and both were unconscious. The officer died the next day. Mr. Lin survived miraculously. Mr. Lin, a veteran Falun Gong practitioner of more than ten years, recalled the incident with emotion. He said, "The Master of Falun Gong protected me and saved my life!"

"On the afternoon of February 20, 2012, I was working with officer Chang, who was in his twenties, at the maintenance room of Pintong Air Force Base. There was an explosion when we were removing an aircraft tire, a tire that carried weight totaling more than 150,000 pounds. We were hit by fragments and critically injured. Chang passed away the next day. I suffered a severe shock in the chest area. My liver was torn. My entire body was injured and covered with blood, and it took more than 100 stitches to close the wounds. I had comminuted fractures of my right wrist and lower right leg."

Mr. Lin said that his very first thought was of Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, when he woke up in the intensive-care unit. He repeatedly recited “Lunyu,” the introduction to the book Zhuan Falun, which is Falun Gong's main text of lectures. He felt very strongly that this helped him survive the accident.

During the recovery, Mr. Lin continued studying the Falun Gong books. He practiced the five Falun Gong exercises by leaning against the bed. His liver quickly healed. In fact, he made a speedy recovery. He stayed in the hospital for only 22 days. His right hand and lower right leg are still bandaged, so that they can heal naturally. Other than that, he has made a complete recovery. His doctor was astonished and asked, "How on earth did you recover so quickly from the deadly injuries? How on earth did you manage to have such a healthy complexion?" Mr. Lin replied, "It is a miracle granted by Falun Gong. I was protected by Falun Gong. It is the Teacher of Falun Gong who saved my life. I thank HIM for HIS grace. It is because of HIM that I have escaped death. Otherwise, I might also have died."

Mr. and Mrs. Lin Chaomao started practicing Falun Gong in April 2000. It has been 13 years. He joined the Air Force Academy at the age of 18 and is an aircraft maintenance mechanic. He has been working at Pintong Air Force Base since graduation. For the first eleven years, he worked on repairing electrical systems. He has saved more than $1 million for Taiwan because of his excellent repair skills. He was then transferred to the maintenance and repair of the aircraft nose gear section. He retired from the air force after 20 years. Because of his excellent skills and work ethics, he was hired by the air force after his retirement. He remains at the air force to this day.
