1. [Yuncheng County, Shandong Province] Ms. Gui Fang and Others Arrested

Around April 8, Ms. Gui Fang from Dingmiao was secretly photographed by a plainclothes police officer using a cell phone while Ms. Gui clarified the facts about the persecution to someone. She was arrested and her house was ransacked.

Around April 20, Mr. Jiang Huaizhen and Mr. Zhang Wangming from Tangmiao Township were arrested. Their homes were ransacked. Mr. Zhang's computer and printer were confiscated.

In April, Mr. Yan Min from Yanzha Village, Konglong Town, was arrested while on his way home from work. His house was ransacked and two computers, a printer and other belongings were confiscated. He has reportedly been sentenced to three years of imprisonment.

Sixty-six-year-old Ms. Zhang Lanying was arrested on the morning of April 19 while she was handing out copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in the Changbai Residential Area in the Heping District. Her house was ransacked. She is now in Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center.

6. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Information on Mr. Hao Peijie's Arrest

On April 16, Mr. Hao Peijie was arrested in the Xiangfang District by Wenzheng Street Police Station officers for distributing CDs containing information on how to access Falun Gong websites. His hand was bruised and became very swollen after being beaten. He was taken to the hospital and was diagnosed with a weak heart.

That night, she was taken to Laiwu Detention Center. Police broke into her house twice to conduct a search and took away two computers, a portable disk drive, Falun Gong books, and a satellite dish as well as a transmission box used to watch NTD Television.

10. [Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province] Additional Information Regarding Ms. Tian Haiying's Arrest

On the morning of April 7, Ms. Tian Haiying from Shahejie Town was arrested by five police officers including Tang Yong for explaining the facts about Falun Gong. In the afternoon, she was taken to the Ruichang City Detention Center by officers from the Jiujiang County Domestic Security Division including Wang Yijin.

11. [Tongcheng, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Shengli Arrested by Two Dozen Police Officers

Rao Jie, head of the Tongcheng Police Department, gave orders for the arrest of Ms. Li Shengli. On the morning of April 16, two dozen police officers including Li Yongcan and others arrested Ms. Li and ransacked her house. They took away Falun Gong books, two computers, a DVD burner, printer, DVDs, and other personal belongings.

In 2007, Ms. Zhou Jianping was sentenced to four years in prison by the Qidong County Court. She is presently being held in Changsha Women's Prison and she is on the brink of death.

On November 24-25, 2011, Mr. Fan Xiangjie, Ms. Fan Lijuan, and Mr. Zhang Jianping were released and returned home. Mr. Zhang Hongquan, Mr. Wang, Mr. Du Junyou, Ms. Feng Xiaoyan, Ms. Zhang Yue. and Ms. Wang Shuyan are still being held in the Qiqihar City No. 1 Detention Center and the Fuyu County Detention Center.

16. [Huludao, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Jinxin's House Ransacked by Police

On the afternoon of April 15, the Jinzhou City Police Department dispatched three police vehicles to Ms. Li Jinxin's house in the Huludao New District. They ransacked her house, and, according to neighbors, her terrorized daughter shouted for help. Ms. Li was not at home at that time. She was taking care of her 91-year-old paralyzed father and 87-year-old mother living in Jinzhou. A group of police officers also went to harass her at her parent's house.

It is now known that three printers, two laptops, around 30,000 yuan in cash, a savings book, Falun Gong brochures, printing paper, letter writing paper, and photo printing paper were confiscated.

17. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Information on the Persecution of Mr. Jiang Wentao

On April 17, several officers from the Qinduankou Police Station went to Mr. Jiang Wentao's house and kept knocking on the door. They lied that they were interested in buying the house downstairs. Jiang Wentao's wife refused to open the door and they finally left.

On the evening of April 19, the police and six to seven people from the residential committee went to Mr. Jiang's house again and attempted to coax him into opening the door. When Jiang Wentao opened the door, four of them dashed in and shoved the couple on the sofa. They grabbed Mr. Jiang by the throat so that he could not shout. The intruders conducted a search, turning over cupboards and boxes. They took away a portrait of the founder of Falun Gong and books.

Jiang Wentao was taken to the police station for interrogation. Although he has been released, the police have threatened him and told him they would visit and “talk to him” again on May 6.
