(Minghui.org) I used to work as a hairdresser for a company. In 2005 my husband got sick, and to take care of him, I quit my job and opened a small barber shop in a storage room downstairs. Since I could no longer go out to do the three things that Master requires of us, I used the barber shop as a channel to get to know people and clarify the truth to them.
Inflation has made haircutting more expensive, but my charge has remained the lowest among the local barber shops over these past years. I would charge less or even nothing if the client was poor, in order that more people would come to my shop so I could save more lives.
Master saw my wish and has constantly sent people to my shop. Although my shop is not as stylish as other barbershops or salons, many people come to me for a haircut. I clarify the truth, play the Shen Yun DVD, or advise people to quit the party and its affiliated organizations. Sometimes, miracles occur on the spot, and many people have witnessed Master's compassion and the miracles of Falun Dafa.
In the spring of 2011 a 50-year-old woman came to have her hair cut. In the course of our conversation, she disclosed that she had hyperthyroidism, which resulted in a goiter that was extremely prominent. She was going out of town the next day to have surgery for it. I told her that Falun Dafa teaches us to practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in our daily lives and to be good people. I said that Dafa has achieved miracles in healing illness, and that it is embraced in more than 100 countries around the world. I suggested that if she recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” in her heart, and truly believe it, it would be good for her health. After a while, she suddenly felt her neck and told me, “It has already shrunk! Can you see it?” A little while later she said again, “It has gone!”
I checked and indeed confirmed it. I thanked Master in my heart for his compassion in saving people. After her haircut she left, and then returned to tell me, “My eyes have also been cured. They used to be dim, and now they are clear.” Because of the miracles this lady experienced, her husband and other relatives all believed that Dafa was good. Her sister came to me for Dafa materials after she came back from out of town.
There was a lady over 60 years of age with a number of illnesses. She seldom left home in the winter because she was afraid of being cold, especially in winter. When she did go out, she always wrapped herself up in heavy clothes. When she came to have a haircut last year, I clarified the truth to her, and gave her Dafa materials, telling her to recite “Falun Dafa is good” frequently. This year she came again to get a haircut, and told me, “I did as you said, and I am now free of illness. This winter I did not even catch a cold.”
For years, under the assistance of Master and with the help of my neighbors who have understood the truth of Falun Dafa, I have used this tiny barbershop to help Master to rectify the Fa and save sentient beings. Many people have been saved. I know that all of this has been achieved because Master was behind it, and I have merely clarified the truth through talking. I will continue to make the most of the short time remaining to save more lives.
