Experiences of a Local Policeman
(From Northeast China) A police officer lives in a small town surrounded by mountains in northeast China. His wife is a Falun Dafa practitioner. Over the last 10 years that the CCP has brutally persecuted Falun Gong practitioners, this officer has changed from being deceived and fearing the CCP to supporting and helping Falun Gong practitioners. He had many unusual experiences during this time.
His superiors met with him and ordered him to persecute Falun Gong. The officer returned to his office, but he did not pass these orders on to any of his subordinates. He did even not call a meeting. It seemed that there were no such orders. Whenever his superiors called a meeting to carry out a plan to persecute practitioners, this officer would inform Falun Gong practitioners to immediately pay attention to their safety. He would also tell practitioners details of the plan and how many personnel would be involved in order to prevent any bad results.
Whenever the local officer had to attend a CCP meeting, he always told his wife that he definitely would not listen to the speakers on the stage. He would recite “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” or he would just fall asleep.
When the officer learned that Falun Gong practitioners could not find a place to study the Fa, he told his wife, “Tell them to come to our home. Our home is safe.” In the past, he tried to provide financial support and other help to practitioners when he saw they were in financial trouble. This often solved immediate difficulties for many practitioners.
Several years ago, to get an order for a big project, a vendor tried to bribe all the officials, including this officer. The day the vendor visited the officer's home, his wife was there. She would not allow the vendor to come in and said, “We are a family that practices Falun Dafa. We never accept bribes. You take this back.” Several years later, the vendor was involved in a big legal case. During the hearing he named all officials he tried to bribe—except this local officer. The officer felt lighthearted. He said to his wife, “I protect you and you also protect me. We protect each other.”
The local officer has read many Falun Dafa materials and understands the truth. He quit the CCP long ago.
I Quit the CCP after Watching New Tang Dynasty Programs and Understanding the Truth
(From China) I recently had a satellite receiver installed in my home. I can now watch New Tang Dynasty TV programs. One day, after watching the program “Examining China,” I understood that “proletarian dictatorship” is a term the CCP utilizes to deceive the Chinese people.
I am not arrogant anymore. I followed Falun Gong practitioners' suggestion and quit the CCP's Youth League and Young Pioneers. I will not go along with a party that deceives and exploits the Chinese people. I wish for myself a wonderful future.
A Middle School Student Stands Up and Says: “What is printed in the textbook is false!”
(From China) My nephew had just entered middle school. He told me this story when he visited me during the Chinese New Year.
During a politics class, the teacher turned to the section in the textbook that defamed Falun Gong. After he had said just two sentences, a student suddenly stood up and said, “Teacher, that is not true. What's in the textbook is false! My mom took me to visit Taiwan this summer. We saw many Falun Gong practitioners. They are very kind. Falun Gong is legal and publicly practiced there.”
The teacher was shocked by the student's words. Other students looked at him in surprise. However, the teacher did not say anything to contradict the student. He just asked the student to sit down and then started to talk about other things.
I was moved by his story. I thank Taiwanese Falun Dafa practitioners for steadily talking to the visitors from Mainland China about Falun Gong. At the same time, I also saw that people can expose the false perceptions and spread the truth once they wake up from the lies.
