Persisting in Cultivation

One day in December, I clarified the truth about Falun Gong by delivering new 2012 calendars. After using a roadside public restroom, I couldn't find the attendant to pay the fee. It was very cold that day, and I was in a hurry to deliver the calendars. I asked my myself, "What should I do?" At that time I recalled what Master said, "he is full of great aspirations while minding minor details." ("Sage" from Essentials For Further Advancement) I told myself that I couldn't just walk away due to the cold weather and my impatience, and leave behind regrets for not clarifying the truth about Falun Gong.

About ten minutes later, the attendant returned. He was in his 50s, neatly dressed, and had a friendly disposition. I gave him half of a yuan. He was very grateful, asking me to enter his office to warm up. His small office was very clean and on the desk there was a pile of half yuan bills and coins. I found out that this money were his wages. I gave him a calendar, which he very happily accepted, and set it on his small desk. I clarified the truth to him through the stories depicted on the calendar and he withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Youth League with his real name.

He did not attend college after graduating from high school because his family couldn't afford it. After he listened and read the Falun Gong materials, he asked, "Why are there so many people persisting in cultivation after this many years of persecution?" I told him, "It's because Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa and it is of great merit to those that cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It teaches people to do good deeds and return to their true, original selves. At present there are over 100 countries where people practice Falun Dafa." He listened while nodding, indicating that he understood that "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good."

Some time later a fellow practitioner and I delivered a Shen Yun DVD to him, his wife and son also withdrew from the evil Party and its affiliated organizations. Although this sanitation worker's small room is not a tall building, it is actually a place where the Fa shines brightly.

You Will Have Good Fortune for Sure

One day I went to a construction site to clarify the truth and ran into a young woman. She was excavating. I approached her and said, "Aren't you cold?" She said she wasn't, and I continued, "You are really working hard. Are you going home to celebrate the New Year soon?" She said she was. By talking to the workers at this work site, I had found out that they were all migrant workers.

This woman's surname was Zeng. She said that her mother-in-law was looking after her child at home. I said, "Making money is not easy. You must stay safe." She leaned on the handle of her shovel and quietly listened to what I told her. "Heaven will eliminate the CCP. We can only stay safe by withdrawing from it and its affiliates." She said that she and her husband had both joined the Young Pioneers and asked me to withdraw them with their real names. I gave her a Falun Gong amulet (1), which she accepted gladly and hung around her neck. But she still eagerly looked at my carrying bag. I recognized her thoughts and took out two more cards from the bag, saying, "These two are for your mother and your mother-in-law." She bowed deeply to me and said, "Thank you, Auntie." Then she asked me, "Auntie, will I have good fortune?" I said emphatically, "You will have good fortune for sure, because you have accepted 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' in your heart and you will also bring safety and happiness to your family!"

“Auntie, Please Tell Me the Falun Dafa Stories Again”

In the summer it's very hot indoors, and everyone sits on the stairs in front of their building to enjoy the cool air. A middle-aged man, nicknamed Junior Zhang, said to me, "I bought an electric pressure cook pot that is both safe and cheap. Auntie, would you please come to my home and take a look at it?" I felt little awkward because we were just neighbors. We saw each other very rarely, mostly because Junior Zhang's wife seldom came downstairs. I had never met her in person. I replied, "OK."

When Junior Zhang asked me again, I thought that it was not by accident. Master must have arranged it. A day later I went to Junior Zhang's home. His wife, called Junior Wang, welcomed me warmly. As soon as I met her, I felt that we had met before, thinking that this must be a predestined relationship. Junior Wang said that she believed in Buddhism. I told her Buddha cultivation stories and talked about the relationship between Buddhism and the Buddha law. I explained that the Buddhist cultivation school had 84,000 cultivation ways, with Falun Buddha Law being one of them. Then I started to tell her about Falun Gong and withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliates. Both husband and wife appeared to have very good enlightenment quality. They very quickly said that they wished to withdraw. Their daughter also withdrew from the Communist Party Youth League.

We have become rather close. Every few days they call me if I don't visit them. As soon as I enter the door, he says, "Auntie, please tell me the Falun Dafa stories once again." I often gave them truth clarification materials about Falun Gong and Shen Yun DVDs.

One day Junior Wang told me that the Xinhua website (operated by the CCP) always slandered Falun Gong. I told her earnestly, “Do not visit the evil Party's website, as it can turn a good person into an unprincipled person and an unprincipled person into an evil person. It is a harmful website.” Soon afterward I installed the Freegate software for her and she could visit the Minghui website. Junior Wang told me that she would browse Minghui mostly before dawn.

Their entire family has truly understood that “Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and have chosen a glorious future.
