(Minghui.org) A Falun Dafa practitioner recently conducted a series of talks at local schools in the Czech Republic. He spoke to teenagers and their teachers about Falun Dafa cultivation practice and the brutal persecution happening in mainland China.
The talks were held for pupils in grades 6 to 9 in the public schools, i.e. students aged 13 to 15 years old. The practitioner made use of the school's multimedia classrooms by giving the lecture in the form of an audio-visual presentation. The practitioner also gave a Falun Gong exercise demonstration at the end of the lecture.
The talk first focused on the tradition of cultivation practice in China, then on the topic of Falun Gong: what it is, how good it is, and how it is persecuted in China. The practitioner also spoke about the evil nature of the communist regime by pointing out many similarities between the Communist party rule in the Czech Republic and China and explaining terms like censorship, labor camps, propaganda, etc.
The efforts of practitioners both inside and outside of China to resist the persecution and peacefully fight for their basic human rights was discussed, as was the present infighting among the regime's top leaders and the approaching end of the Chinese Communist Party. As one of the Czech Republic's great presidents, the late Vaclav Havel, used to say: “Truth and love will beat lies and hatred.”
Many of the students and teachers were moved by what they heard and thoroughly condemned the persecution and its perpetrators. They signed a petition to stop the persecution.
The teachers praised the presentation, saying it was very good for the students to know what is going on in the world. Quite a few of the teachers said, “Wow, the students seemed to really like your talk. They are usually chatty and indifferent. This time they were quiet and attentive.”
The talks have so far been conducted at four different schools in about 20 classes for hundreds of children.
