(Minghui.org) On April 25, 2012, Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium gathered at 9 a.m. in front of the Chinese Embassy in Belgium and at 12:30 p.m. on the Luxembourg Square in front of the European Parliament to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong, which has lasted thirteen years. They urged the international community to help stop the CCP’s persecution.
Practitioners call for bringing perpetrators of the persecution to justice in front of the Chinese embassy.
Early in the morning that day, Belgian practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to perform the exercises. They also displayed numerous banners such as: "Falun Dafa is good," "Commemorate the 13th anniversary of the 4.25 appeal," "The CCP must stop persecuting Falun Gong,” “Bring Jiang Zemin, Zhou Yongkang, Luo Gan, and Liu Jing to justice".
Practitioners set up posters and demonstrated the exercises on Luxembourg Square in front of the European Parliament.
Explaining the facts to passersby
It began to rain around noon. Braving the wind and rain, practitioners in Belgium set up a variety of poster displays on the Luxembourg Square in front of the European Parliament to expose the brutal persecution and tell people about Falun Gong’s spread around the world.
Nicolas Schols of the Belgium Falun Dafa Association calls for help to stop the persecution
During the activities, the president of the Belgian Falun Dafa Association, Nicolas Schols, said: "Since the beginning of the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have been peacefully calling on the governments and people around the world to act upon their conscience to help stop the persecution. The crimes of Jiang Zemin, Zhou Yongkang, and Bo Xilai must be brought to justice. We urge all kindhearted, righteous people as well as Chinese politicians to allow justice rule the world. "
Helen Willetts, assistant to the Vice Chairman of the European Parliament
The event also attracted attention from the European Parliament. Ms. Helen Willetts, assistant to the Vice Chairman of the European Parliament, Edward McMillan-Scott, attended the event to shore up support. She said: "I think (the Falun Gong practitioners) have maintained peace (since 4.25 in 1999), while the Chinese Communist regime has subjected them to violence. I hope that this peaceful way of Falun Gong practitioners would be reciprocated. Those CCP leaders would realize that there is nothing to worry about. This is a peaceful way of life. People should be allowed the freedom to practice."
She said: "The Vice-Chairman of the European Parliament has been trying to establish a list of perpetrators so that we can bring to justice all those who instigate and continue to torture Falun Gong practitioners, those who set up labor camps, and especially those involved in the horrible, inhuman, sordid practice of live organ harvesting. We can not allow such evil to exist."
