(Minghui.org) On April 21, 2012, practitioners in Spain assembled in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful appeal in Beijing on April 25, 1999. They also called for an end to the persecution and for the primary perpetrators to be brought to justice for persecuting Falun Gong.

Practitioners arranged display boards in a long row opposite the Chinese Embassy. Behind them was another long row of banners, bearing messages such as, “Commemorate the April 25 Peaceful Appeal,” “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong,” “Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang to Justice,” “Disintegrate the CCP and Stop the Persecution.” In the middle was a banner reading “Falun Dafa Is Good” against a golden background. Practitioners spoke with passersby about Falun Gong, raised their awareness about the 13-year brutal persecution, and called for their efforts to help stop the persecution.

Accompanied by peaceful exercise music, practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises. The solemn and peaceful scene attracted attention from many passersby. They stopped to take a look and take a flyer to learn the facts. Vehicles passing by slowed down to try to see clearly the messages on the banners and the photos depicting the brutal persecution. They wanted to know what was going on. Practitioners who distributed the flyers tried to hand out flyers to everyone who showed interest. Some people in vehicles made a V-shaped gesture to express their support.

A lady passing by was shocked at the brutality of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) depicted in the photo displays. She said, “I have known that the CCP is bad, but never expected that it is so cruel. I hope the persecution will end soon.” She signed the petition to support practitioners' efforts to end the persecution, and said that she would tell her family and friends, and let them know what is going on in China so that they will all stand against the persecution.

An elderly Spanish couple took a flyer and said, “We live nearby and could see every time you held a protest against the CCP here. We understand that the CCP is an evil organization and hope there will be a change soon and that the persecution will end.”

A Peruvian was deeply drawn to the practitioners' exercise demonstration, and asked for information about a practice site. She said she wanted to learn and said, “You've done a great job. I wish you success!”
