(Minghui.org) On November 25, 2011, my feet were very painful. After looking within, I realized that I had not cultivated my speech. I said to Teacher in my heart that I had not done well and had to improve, as I hadn't been paying attention to my speech. Two days later I was bedridden and felt excruciating pain in my feet, legs and back, to the point of feeling faint.

I studied the Fa persistently. But, the pain spread to my ankles, knees, neck, waist and back. Finally, every part of my body was in pain. This situation lasted one week.

On December 2, I discussed my ordeal with another practitioner. He said that when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Gong practitioners, Teacher is there to support us. He didn't think that this was an illness, but persecution by the old forces. He suggested that I contact fellow practitioners to send righteous for me to eliminate the old forces' interference, which I did. After they left, I felt much better.

Teacher said:

“For a long period of time the sentient beings in Dafa, especially the disciples, have had a misunderstanding of the Fa at various levels regarding xinxing improvement. Whenever a tribulation comes, you do not see it with the side of your original nature but view it completely with your human side. Evil demons then capitalize on this point and inflict endless interference and damage, leaving students in long-term tribulations.” “They cannot imagine what “nature” itself is. Under the influence of this kind of notion you think that all these tribulations are inevitable and that this is just the way it is, thereby developing a passive and pessimistic attitude. So your human side must stay aware. More importantly, your side that has attained the Fa must be clear.” (“Expounding on the Fa” in Essentials for Further Advancement)

The above Fa quote from Teacher from 1997 actually warned us of what could happen to a Falun Gong practitioner. Don't the old forces take advantage of our loopholes and persecute us?

I wanted to eliminate the evil as soon as possible, so I continued to look inward. I asked my wife to look for books, magazines or anything else pertaining to the CCP in my room and dispose of it. I struggled to sit on my bed and helped my wife burn all the CCP materials. At that moment, I saw Teacher smile.

On December 6, around nine practitioners came to my home to help me find the root cause of my tribulation. They sent righteous thoughts for me, and that night I sent righteous thoughts. I saw the evil hit the table, cursing at me, claiming that I didn't keep my promise. So, that's what it was! I might have made some promise to the evil. The evil believed itself to have the right to persecute me. I said, "I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I only follow Teacher's arrangements. I don't remember making a promise to you, but I refuse to acknowledge it." I sent righteous thoughts to eliminate it. It became scared and ran away.

Soon after, three evil beings showed up. One of them pushed a bed with a white sheet on it and ran toward me. Another one tried to inject me with some kind of medication. The third one took the white sheet and tried to wrap my head with it and drag me toward the bed. I shouted, "Teacher!” Suddenly, four people dressed like doctors showed up, and the bed turned into boxes. The doctors locked up the evil beings in the boxes. One of the doctors said, "Now, you are fine. They are frozen in the boxes." Everyone then disappeared. I kept sending righteous thoughts with tears covering my face. Thank you Teacher for saving me!

On December 7, ten practitioners came to my home. We studied the Fa and sent righteous thoughts. One of the practitioners talked about the issue of how deep grudges could be benevolently resolved. When I sent righteous thoughts, I decided to add a thought offering a benevolent resolution. Then I saw Teacher looking very serious and unhappy. Actually, the evil that was locked up the day before had all of a sudden been released. I realized that I was wrong. Teacher had said to deny any old forces' arrangements and any persecution, and to even deny the existence of the old forces. But, I tried to benevolently resolve a grudge instead of realizing that it was an old force arrangement, which should not have existed in the first place.

During the night, I sent righteous thoughts every hour on the hour. I told Teacher that I was in the wrong and would never repeat such a mistake. I decided to deny the old forces' arrangements. Later, I saw that three of the four evil beings were eliminated.

On December 8, I could finally leave my bed. In the afternoon, several practitioners came over and I told them of what I had experienced the previous day. Everyone recognized the strong power of sending righteous thoughts. Our group righteous thoughts were stronger, but the evil was attacking us more viciously. In other dimensions, I threw fire with my hands, but still, not all of the evil was eliminated. Suddenly, a knife and a purple-gold Fa weapon appeared. They joined in fighting the evil. The evil was eventually eliminated with practitioners' help.

During the night, I was unable to use the bathroom and my bottom was bleeding. I felt excruciating pain. I knew I should not hold fear in my heart, but I just couldn't get rid of the fear. Then, I saw five evil beings pointing and laughing at me. I suddenly understood and eliminated my fear. I said to the five, "You guys are laughing at me? I am a Falun Gong practitioner and I have a bright future. You persecute practitioners. Don't you think you're losing your future?" The evil beings stopped laughing. I also told them, "If I hurt you in my previous life, I would like to benevolently resolve it, but only if you will not hurt others in the future. I will ask my Teacher to give you an opportunity and a bright future. Otherwise, you guys will disappear." Later, those four beings went down on their knees and then left.

In the afternoon on December 9, practitioners sent righteous thoughts at my home and eliminated the remaining evil beings. I could see that the practitioners and I held flowers in our hands which then were twirling around us. We felt that we were surrounded by compassion.

Practitioners suggested coming to my home the next Monday. But, I suggested that we go to the group Fa study location and focus on studying the Fa. If I could walk, I would come too.

At around noon on December 12, accompanied by another practitioner, I took the book Zhuan Falun and walked to the group Fa study. It took me sixty minutes (for a normally ten minute walk) to arrive there.

On December 19, I sent righteous thoughts at 6:00 a.m. and left for work. My wife was worried whether I could take the bus at all since my legs were unable to bend. While on the bus, the vehicle came to a sudden halt and three or four students fell on top of me. I did not feel much pain because Teacher was watching over me. When I arrived at the office, my co-worker said, "Why are you coming to the office if you still need crutches?” I realized that Teacher wanted me to walk without crutches, which I did on the next day.

I overcame this tribulation with Teacher's and fellow practitioners' help. I experienced the evil's persecution because my righteous thoughts were weak.

My wife, who had not cultivate diligently to this point, witnessed Dafa's immense power and is now a very diligent practitioner. She has become healthy and is no longer bothered by high blood cholesterol, kidney inflammation, gynecological disease, and other illnesses.

I am a Falun Gong practitioner and have to follow Teacher's requirements. I have to cultivate diligently and do the three things well, including clarifying the truth about Falun Gong so that I can live up to the title of "Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple."
