(Minghui.org) A middle school principal I knew in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, was influenced by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) lies, and he did not support his wife practicing Falun Gong.

I tried to clarify the truth when we met, and he appeared to be to agree with me. But once I brought up the topic of quitting the CCP, he got very angry and shouted, “What do you think you are doing? Are you trying to turn the sky upside down? How can you convince me when your situation is so bad? You practitioners are difficult to understand.”

He initiated a conversation when I met him the second time. He said, “You have changed. I admire you because you were sincere, kind, and competent.” I told him that what I did in the past was selfish, and I was seeking personal gain. "I have become selfless since I began practicing Falun Gong and would do anything to help more people. I strongly believe that cultivating Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance makes one a better person. Why do you stand by the CCP’s lies? Where is your moral standard?” He seemed to get it but still had doubts. He kept repeating. “How could we ever overthrow the CCP?” I told him that our Master told us to offer people salvation and that I was there to save him. I explained that we have no interest in power or in competing with anyone. He still refused to quit the Party, saying, “I made great efforts to join the Party, and I cannot just quit like this.”

We met the third time in a park. I talked about the CCP's corruption and evil deeds. He agreed, but still expressed hope for it. I told him about the well-known rock formation that had the characters, "The CCP Dies" mysteriously carved into it, and the many other ancient prophecies, but he didn't believe it and left.

We met the fourth time at a food market. He was sympathetic to my family's circumstances, especially the situation a year ago. I told him that the persecution had ruined my family, and we were not the only family being persecuted. He was amazed by my good health. I told him that this was a benefit of practicing Falun Gong, that the gods had the final word, and that good deeds would be rewarded with good. I brought up the topic of quitting the Party again, but he did not want to talk about it.

The fifth time I met him he said, “I don’t want to talk about it, but perhaps, you are right.”

Seeing him at the sixth time, he was pale. I asked whether he was sick. He told me that, with his increasing age, his health was getting worse. I said, “After I took up Falun Dafa practice, I became very healthy. Why do you choose to suffer?” He said that he would think about it more.

The seventh time I met him in front of my apartment. He told me that he was dying from an illness. The doctor told him that the prognosis for his untreatable illness was poor. Someone told him that quitting the CCP would bring good fortune. I suggested he give a try. I said, “You would have a peaceful mind already if you had quit the CCP earlier.” “Does that rally work?” he asked. “Yes, of course!” I affirmed. He said, “All right, let us do it. I need your help to nullify my membership in the CCP.”

A month later when I was out, I saw him on his bike, and he patted my shoulder. He said, "Thank you for saving me. My life is fulfilled now.” I said, “You should thank our Master. It was Master who saved you.”

He was hit by a car six months later, but was unhurt. He told me, “Master has saved me again because I practice Dafa. "
