(Minghui.org) On April 10, 2012, the Mayor of the District of North Saanich, British Columbia, Canada, presented the following proclamation to the Canada Falun Dafa Association. Mayor Finall proclaimed the month of May 2012 to be “Falun Dafa Month Honoring Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” in the District of North Saanich.

Honoring Truthfulness, Compassion & Forbearance

Whereas Falun Dafa is an advanced exercise and meditation practice of mind, body, and spirit that has brought health and well-being to people across Canada; and

Whereas Falun Dafa practitioners practice the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and incorporate it into their daily lives, striving to become better people in all environments and situations; and

Whereas Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa is to be commended and publicly recognized for his commitment to promote better health and moral living throughout the world; and

Now I, Alice Finall, Mayor of the District of North Saanich, do proclaim the month of May 2012 to be "Falun Dafa Month" Honoring Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in the District of North Saanich.
