Mr. Yang Yonghui and Mr. Zhang Huidong Illegally Sentenced

On the morning of March 7, 2011, four Falun Gong practitioners were about to be brought to trial at the Luojiang County Court, in Deyang City. Five Falun Dafa practitioners who were going to observe the trial were illegally arrested and detained. The arrested practitioners included Mr. Yang Yonghui, Ms. Liu Yuanfeng and Ms. Shu Qiongxian, who are in their 50s, from Sanshui Township, in Guanghan City. Mr. Shu Jixiu and Mr. Wu Guangbi, who in their 70s, were also arrested. They were detained at Hexing Brainwashing Center. After that, they were transferred to the Guanghan Detention Center.

At 10 a.m. on March 29, 2011, while Ms. Zhang Huidong was on her way home, she was arrested by agents from the Domestic Security Department and the Nanxing Police Station. Ms. Zhang is in her 50s. The police officers used the pretext of checking the registration of the motorcycle that she was riding, but instead they arrested her and took her to the Nanxing Police Station, then later transferred her to the Guanghan Detention Center.

On December 26, 2011, Mr. Yang Yonghui was sentenced to four years' imprisonment by the Guanghan Court. On the same day, Ms. Zhang Huidong was sentenced to three years in prison.

Ms. Luo Shizhao from Guangxing Township Arrested by Police Officers Again

On March 28, 2012, Ms. Luo Shizhao from Guangxing Township in Guanghan City, in her 60s, was again arrested by police officers from Guangxing Township.

On the morning of March 29, 2011, when she was almost home, four people suddenly jumped out of a van and tried to arrest her. Ms. Luo began to shout, “Falun Dafa is great!” Her husband tried very hard to open the door of the van to get her out, but agents claiming to be special officers forcibly pushed him away. His wrists were bruised in the struggle. Ms. Luo was detained at the Nanxing Police Station, then transferred to the Hexing Brainwashing Center, where she was brutally interrogated. The deputy head of the 610 Office verbally abused her, slapped her face and stomped on her feet, ripping off her shoes.

About half an hour after Ms. Luo was arrested, agents from the Xiangyang Police Station broke into her home and ransacked the place. They confiscated a computer, portraits of Master Li, Dafa informational materials and an MP3 player.

Later that evening, Chinese Communist Party officers arrested several more practitioners and detained them in the Guanghan Detention Center. They didn't provide them with any food or water for an entire day. Mao Li and other staff members verbally abused the practitioners with all manner of humiliating words.

Agents from the Xiangyang Township Police Station tried to take Ms. Luo to a forced labor camp, but the camp wouldn't accept her because she had high blood pressure. However, after Ms. Luo came home, police officers led by Xie San, Xiangyang Township Police Station director, forced her to report to them at the police station every Wednesday. They also did a medical check on her and took her blood pressure, in order to find opportunities to persecute her in the future.
