Persisting in Group Fa Study and Cooperating With One Another to Do the Three Things Well

(Minghui.org) I am a fifty year old Falun Dafa practitioner from the countryside. Before I began practicing in 1997, I was unhealthy and loved to play Mahjong. Not long after I began practicing Falun Gong, I became healthy and left my bad habits behind. Over the course of more than ten years, under the compassionate guidance of Teacher, we have cultivated with a serious attitude and on solid ground, doing the three things required by Teacher, and walking steadily on our paths up to today.

 

Persisting in Group Fa Study and Exercises

 

Group Fa study is a cultivation environment established for us by Teacher. The practitioners at our practice site are able to be collectively diligent in cultivation and cooperate well in clarifying the truth to people because we have been participating in group Fa study for a long time.

 

My home has been a group study and practice site and for many years we have studied every night and done the exercises every morning together. Although all of us are in our fifties and are country women— and not very educated— we are now able to read all of Teacher's lectures, and dozens of books, fluently. We study the Fa systematically, reading a different lecture every time we complete Zhuan Falun. After having studied the entire book of Zhuan Falun dozens of times, we can complete all of Teacher's lectures. At the same time, to keep up with Fa rectification and the requirements online, we often study Teacher's recent lectures as well.

 

The cultivation environment arranged for us by Teacher is very good. We study the Fa, exercise, share cultivation experiences, and coordinate how to clarify the truth to people together. Basking under divine light, we cultivate diligently and improve simultaneously.

 

Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts Together

 

We realize that sending forth righteous thoughts is one of the three things required by Teacher. It is very important and cannot be treated lightly or done as if getting a task over with. We treat each righteous thought session seriously and never miss the four standard global righteous thoughts time slots set online. Because we do group study and exercises every morning and night, we are also up to par in sending forth righteous thoughts on a daily basis. After the six o'clock evening righteous thoughts, we study the Fa until nine, sending righteous thoughts every hour in between studying. At noon, we pause our work in the fields and gather at my house for group righteous thoughts. We only do separate righteous thoughts at midnight, which I keep up with every night.

 

Even though we are practicing in a maze and are not able to see the real situation in other dimensions, I can feel the great power of sending righteous thoughts, because every time we encounter dangerous situations when rescuing a fellow practitioner or clarifying the truth, we can eliminate the evil through sending righteous thoughts. In the many years that have gone by, our practice site has never been interfered with and our group study and practice has never been affected.

 

Cooperating to Clarify the Truth

 

Group Fa study allows the practitioners from our practice site to cultivate diligently and promotes fast improvement among our entire body. Our cooperation and coordination in truth clarification is also good. Everyone is open and honest with each other and there are no divisions between practitioners. Everyone aligns themselves with the Fa on every aspect so the environment is pure and the energy is strong—therefore, the effects are good.

 

Teacher taught us to spread the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, so we hand out copies in person. In terms of encouraging people to quit the CCP, in the beginning, we told our family members, then our friends and relatives, and then the entire village. I cooperated with two other practitioners, with the well-spoken practitioner A clarifying the truth while the other practitioner and I sent forth righteous thoughts. On Saturdays, the students come home from school, so we clarify the truth to both adults and children, and ninety percent of them quit the Party. Later, we started to clarify the truth to students when they returned to school on Sunday, handing out truth-clarification booklets at the intersection on the way to school. We also visit shops and construction sites in our free time to clarify the truth. We give out Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs in person.

 

When we go out at night to distribute truth-clarification materials and hang up banners, we first send forth righteous thoughts at home and continue the righteous thoughts on the way, asking Teacher to dissolve the evil at our point of destination, and everything usually goes well.

 

There are also times when things do not go as well, which is caused by our human attachments, but we are never harmed under Teacher's protection. One time, when we went to a neighboring village to distribute materials that exposed the local evil, a person holding a flashlight discovered us and and chased after us on his motorcycle. Just as as we arrived in another village, another person emerged, perhaps coincidentally or having been notified by the previous person, and sandwiched us in between. At that moment, we remembered a line from Teacher's poem: “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide” (“The Master-Disciple Bond” from Hong Yin II), so we immediately began sending righteous thoughts, asking Teacher to protect us. The two people, only a meter apart from us, were unable to find us using a flashlight and the light from a motorcycle. After searching for us everywhere, they waited at an intersection. Under Teacher's protection, we were able to leave safely.

 

After the incident, we heard that it was the doing of village officials. We shared about this and wanted to save them so we decided to write a compassionate persuasion letter to the officials. Four other practitioners and I divided the work evenly, with one person writing the letter at home, and the rest pairing up to go to every village in the surrounding towns and recording the names and addresses of village secretaries and village directors. We sent the compassionate persuasion letters to these officials and after almost one year, we covered over 100 villages. From then on, no more reporting incidents happened again.

 

Our study group put some money together to buy a computer and printer, and created a truth clarification site. I learned how to use a mouse and I am now able to communicate with cultivators anytime, receive and provide information, and download and print needed materials at will. Teacher tells us that Dafa practitioners are the heroes of this great era and everything is for us to validate the Fa.

 

My experience has been that no matter what I do, it is Teacher who is doing it. My only task is to study the Fa well like Teacher has told us to and do the three things well. I still have many attachments and am far from what Teacher requires. In the future I need to study the Fa more, look within for my shortcomings, and save more people. I will firmly engrave in my mind Teacher's words of guidance, “Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy” (“Rationality” from Essentials for Further Advancement II).

 

This is my first time writing an experience paper and my level is limited. I hope fellow practitioners will kindly point out anything improper.
