(Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist Party started its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, many practitioners have been illegally arrested and sentenced without their families being informed. Here, we would like to make public incidents that took place in the Longgang District, Shenzhen and had not yet been published on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website.

In October 2009, Ms. Mai Xiumei and her friend, Ms. Hua Hongxia, were out distributing truth-clarification materials when they were arrested and held at the Longgang Detention Center. They were sentenced to three and a half years by Longgang Court and incarcerated at the Guangdong Women's Prison.

In May 2010, a 70-year-old couple, Ms. Chen Zhenrong and her husband, were arrested when they were distributing materials in Buji, Shenzhen. Their home was ransacked and many of their personal belongings, like computers, printers, a DVD burner, and some truth-clarification materials, were taken away. The couple were sentenced to four years in prison by the Longgang Court. Ms. Chen was taken to the Guangdong Women's Prison in February 2011.

On April 22, 2011, Ms. Gao Dejuan and her husband were arrested in their apartment in Longhua, Shenzhen. Their home was ransacked and their computers, printers, truth-clarification materials, Shen Yun DVDs, and some books were taken. The husband was diagnosed with tuberculosis and released the same day. Ms. Gao was held at the Longgang Detention Center.

At about 8 o'clock in the morning on April 22, 2011, Ms. Huang Wanxian was cleaning her room when police officers arrived and arrested her. Ms. Huang lived in Youhua village, Dafen, Buji, and she is a painter. Her home was ransacked and one printer, as well as some truth-clarification materials, were confiscated. One month later, people from the Longgang 610 Office had her sent to a forced labor camp for one and a half years. She was taken to the Sanshui Labor Camp in July.

At noon on April 22, 2011, a lady from the Northeast was also arrested at home in Buji. Her home was ransacked and her family was threatened. That afternoon, Ms. Tongling was illegally arrested by eight officers in her home in Wankewuyuan, Longgang District. Her personal belongings, such as computers, a video camera, and DVD burners, were taken away. On October 17, she attended a court hearing at Longgang Court and was incarcerated at the Longgang Detention Center.

At noon on April 22, 2011, Mr. Sun Jiefeng (from Jieyang, Guangdong Province) and Mr. Deng Tiansheng (from Huizhou, Guangdong Province) were having lunch in their company in Pingshan, Shenzhen, when they were arrested by police who broke in. Their personal belongings were taken away. At the same time, another group of officers from the Shenzhen 610 Office, Pingshan, Shenzhen and Shijing Police Station went to the school where Mr. Sun's wife Liu Ziyun worked and arrested her. The officers forced her to take them back to her home. They ransacked it and took her away.

In the afternoon on December 22, 2011, Mr. Sun Jiefeng and Mr. Deng Tiansheng were put on trial at Longgang Court. After the trial, Mr. Sun's family demanded his release. The judge promised that he would make a decision later. However, one month has passed, and Mr. Sun has still not been released.
