(Clearwisdom.net) On January 31, 2012, hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners gathered in front of the Parliament Building in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. They held banners and performed the Falun Gong exercises in order to raise awareness of the 12-year-long persecution of Falun Gong in China. They called on Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who was soon to embark on a state visit to China, to urge the Chinese Communist regime to end the persecution. Their peaceful protest moved the hearts of many passersby.

Winner of Gold Medal for China’s National Outstanding Engineering Design
He Lizhi, who was a senior engineer at the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, was sentenced to three years in prison for telling his friends the facts about the illegal persecution. He suffered numerous tortures in prison and almost died. “When I was rescued to Canada in 2004, I still could not regain my peace of mind, knowing that tens of millions of my fellow practitioners are still suffering in China. The persecution never ended, it just became more evil and subtle,” said Mr. He.

Before the persecution, Mr. He benefited greatly from the practice. He was the winner of the 1996 Gold Medal for China’s National Outstanding Engineering Design. “There were close to 100 million practitioners in China before the persecution. Many were outstanding performers in their professions and were considered good people. Overnight, the Chinese Communist regime twisted right and wrong and brutally suppressed these good citizens as enemies,” said Mr. He.
Mr. He and other practitioners collected stories and evidence of the persecution they and their families experienced, over 50 of which were presented at the square in front of Parliament. He explained that these were not complete, but they reflected the depth and scope of the persecution. “The persecution is omnipresent in China. It does not matter if you are young or old, white or blue collar, the authorities will hunt you down if you practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” said Mr. He.

Member of Parliament Stephen Woodworth is the co-founder of Parliamentary Friends of Falun Gong. Mr. Woodworth told the practitioners that in this is the year of the Dragon, a symbol of great power and resistance in adversity. He believes that the practitioners possess the spirit of the Dragon and that they will be successful in stopping the persecution with their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Father Tony Van Lee is a senior petitioner at Parliament Hill. He learned about Falun Dafa long time ago. “I have never seen such a great and peaceful group like Falun Gong. Being tortured for no reason, the practitioners persistently resist the persecution with non-violence. They protect mankind’s core values and try to stop the terrible persecution of the kind and innocent in China. They are conveying Heaven’s will,” said Father Van Lee.
“I admire their commitment to goodness. I’ve read Zhuan Falun and know that they follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I wholeheartedly support them for holding on to this principle.”
Appellant: Falun Gong is Suffering for Everyone

Sun Wujun came to study in Canada six years ago. His family’s house in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, was illegally demolished by the authorities, and he was turned down everywhere he appealed. In 2010, he began to protest the Chinese Communist regime’s tyranny at Parliament Hill, wanting to draw attention from the international community. He placed his booth next to the practitioners’ to show his support for Falun Gong. “I am touched. There are many older people among them protesting on this bitter cold, snowy day. It’s hard even for young people like me. They are suffering for the Chinese and for everyone.”
Sun hopes that the Chinese people can wake up from the Chinese Communist regime’s lies. “After I came to Canada, I realized that Falun Gong is completely different from what the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) says in its propaganda. The CCP is built on deception and violence, and hence it cannot tolerate good people. If everyone could follow Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, the world would be a better place. I hope the persecution will end soon.”
(Clearwisdom.net) On February 26, 2010, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Qin Yueming from Jinshantun, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, was tortured to death in Jiamusi Prison. Ms. Wang Xiuqing, Qin Yueming's wife, and their two daughters endured many difficulties going to many different government offices to appeal for her husband, but no one would accept her case. On November 13, 2011, Ms. Wang and her younger daughter, Qin Hailong, were arrested again and sent to Qianjin Forced Labor Camp. Her elder daughter, Ms. Qin Rongqian, had to spend her days going to the courthouse, labor camp, detention center, and the Public Security Bureau, seeking justice for her parents and younger sister.
Recently, Qin Rongqian suffered unreasonable hostile treatment several times at the hands of the police at the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp for requesting an administrative reconsideration for her mother and younger sister's forced labor camp sentence. Police at the forced labor camp would not allow Wang Qiuqing or Qin Hailong to sign their names on the paperwork of reconsideration. They would also not allow Qin Rongqian to visit her mother and younger sister. They even arrested Qin Rongqian and sent her to the Harbin City Police Station, and then interrogated and tortured her on a “tiger bench” for eight hours.

On the top there is a cover used to cover the mouth to prevent the person from making noise. At the bottom are also two iron rings which are used to buckle up the two ankles to prevent the lower body from moving. The bottom part can be raised to move the legs up and down. The top and bottom iron rings can be stretched in both directions.)
Qianjin Forced Labor Camp Prevented Attorney from Upholding Justice
On December 26, 2011, Ms. Qin Rongqian, accompanied by a lawyer from Beijing, went to Qianjin Forced Labor Camp. When she asked to see her younger sister, Qin Hailong, Wang Yaluo and Ye Yun, the director and the assistant director of the camp, tried their best to prevent the lawyer from meeting with the parties. When they noticed that the Beijing lawyer bravely fought for human rights and justice for Falun Gong, Wang Yaluo even threatened the lawyer, saying that what the lawyer was doing was “anti-CCP and anti-government.” They ordered the lawyer to show his ID and secretly recorded the lawyer's personal information.
After the attorney and Ms. Qin Rongqian left, the labor camp officials contacted the Beijing Bureau of Justice and framed the Beijing lawyer. Wang Yaluo, the director of the forced labor camp, called Beijing himself and said, “On behalf of Zhou Yongkang, on behalf of the CCP's Central Committee and Political and Legal Committee, I am ordering you to severely punish and suppress your lawyer. You should not allow your lawyers to be involved in this case.” Wang Yaluo also urged the Beijing Justice Law Office to make things difficult for the lawyer to keep him from being involved in the case, which put great pressure on the lawyer.
On visiting day each month, the guards who worked at the reception desk at the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp asked any visitor that they suspected might be a practitioner whether he or she practiced Falun Gong. If the answer was yes, they would not allow the visitors to stay in the reception room. Otherwise, they would call police. When it was time to meet, the guards would tell the family members that they had to slander Falun Gong and its founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, or else they would not be allowed to see the practitioner.

December 31 was Qin Rongqian and her mother Wang Xiuqing's birthdays (mother and daughter share the same birth date). Taking into account that her mother and younger sister's forced labor term review period was 60 days, Qin Rongqian got the reconsideration paperwork ready and also bought some daily supplies for them. Right after she arrived at the forced labor camp, she saw Yang Guohong, the female police officer who would not allow Qin Rongqian to come to the forced labor camp again when she saw her the last time. Qin Rongqian handed the personal items over Yang Guohong for her to deliver to her mother and younger sister. Then she told Yang Guohong that she wanted to appeal for her mother and her younger sister's forced labor term for re-consideration. She hoped that her mother and her younger sister could sign the paperwork. At that time, Yang Guohong said that she could not make a decision and that she had to ask for approval from the camp committee. Then Yang Guohong left and went to the director's office. Yang called Harbin City Police Station and plotted to persecute Qin Rongqian.
Qin Rongqian went to the 3rd floor and looked for the director, Wang Yaluo (a member of the labor camp committee) and told him her reason for visiting him. Wang said he did not agree with the reconsideration and so he would not allow Qin's mother and younger sister to sign the paperwork. It was written clearly on the notice of their forced labor camp term that Wang Xiuqing and Qin Hailong could request a reconsideration within 60 days. Ms. Qin Rongqian asked him why he did not agree. Wang Yaluo threatened, “Don't you know why your mother and your younger sister were sentenced to stay at the forced labor camp? It was because of your father's case. If you persist, you will be sent to prison, too.” Ms. Qin Rongqian told him, “My father was persecuted to death by the prison. My mother and my younger sister are my only family members left. No matter what, I will try to fight for it.” Wang Yaluo did not say a word. After a short while, Ms. Qin Rongqian asked, “Then why can't I visit my mother and my younger sister?” Wang Yaluo said, “I know about your family very well. You also practice Falun Gong. That is why you are not allowed to see them.” Ms. Qin Rongqian raised the reconsideration issue again, and Wang Yaluo insisted that he would not allow them to sign and said that Falun Gong cases would not be allowed to be reconsidered.
Wang Yaluo told Ms. Qin Rongqian to talk to the assistant director Ye Yun and said she might be able to explain it better. In fact they had already called the Harbin City Police Station and planned to persecute Qin Rongqian and were stalling for time. Ms. Qin Rongqian told Ye Yun her personal circumstances and also told her the purpose of meeting her. She also told Ye Yun about the hardships her family experienced during the past 12 years and the facts about her father being persecuted to death. She also showed Ye Yun the photos of her father after being killed. Ye Yun did not say a word the whole time. Ms. Qin Rongqian requested a reconsideration of her mother and younger sister's case. Ye Yun then told her that she would need to talk to the director and told Qin Rongqian to wait at the door. During that time, policeman Yang Guohong called and asked whether it was Wang Xiuqing's daughter. Yang asked how far away she had gone and said that she was looking for Ms. Qin Rongqian. Ye Yun told Yang that Qin Rongqian was on the 3rd floor in the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp. Yang Guohong told Ms. Qin Rongqian not to leave and wait there, as she was going to be there soon. After a while, Yang Guohong brought two plainclothes policemen and took Qin Rongqian and the 70-year-old lady who accompanied her into a minivan. Plainclothes policemen were waiting inside the van, which was actually not a police car, and drove them to the Harbin City Police Station.
After arriving at the city police station, Qin Rongqian and the old lady were interrogated separately. Police put Ms. Qin Rongqian inside the wooden “tiger bench” and locked it. It was very cold in the room. There were two officers from the Xiangfang District: one was Yang Dehui and the other was Xu Runan. First, they searched Ms. Qin's handbag several times. They copied all of the phone numbers from the four cell phones. During that time, several people called in. They did not say a word when they answered those calls. They kept asking Ms. Qin why she went to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp. They also asked how her she got to know that old lady, how they got in touch with each other, and what the old lady's name was. They also asked whether she practiced Falun Gong. Finally, seeing that they could not get any answers, they called Jiang Lianshan, the local police officer in Qin Rongqian's hometown, Yichun, and asked him about Ms. Qin's family. They told Jiang Lianshan to go to her home to see if they could find any evidence and to strengthen their case. The local police officer said that Qin Yueming's whole family practiced Falun Gong. However Qin's house had been demolished and nothing was left. Yang Dehui and Xu Runan then ordered Mr. Qin Rongqian to tell them their present address in Harbin.
Later on a male police officer glared at Ms. Qin Rongqian and asked, “Do you practice Falun Gong?” Ms. Qin said that she did not understand why they would all ask the same questions. He pressed the same question again. Ms. Qin turned her head away and did not talk to him anymore. He got very angry and left. Another police officer walked over to her and said, “Do you know who that man is? He is our director.” During the interrogation a man who was not wearing a police uniform secretly took some photos of Qin Rongqian from behind.
Although she was tied onto the “tiger bench,” Ms. Qin Rongqian was clarifying the truth to them the entire time. She also showed them her father's photo after he had been persecuted to death, telling them about the suffering that her whole family had been through. Her righteous actions touched some of the police with a conscience. One officer took her photo and went outside to show other officers, and told them that she was Ms. Qin Rongqian and that she had been detained for one month when she was 13 years old. He also said that the local police in Yichun were very cruel and that Qin Rongqian was the same age as his daughter. Other police officers also told other people, “This child was really doing the right thing by taking care of her father and mother. She even tried to litigate for her father.”
The police did not allow Ms. Qin Rongqian to eat anything or drink a drop of water during the whole process. During that time, other Falun Gong practitioners were being arrested and sent there as well. The police would shout to find a room (interrogation room) and were looking for a “tiger bench” while saying they had arrested several Falun Gong practitioners. One person said the room was full of Falun Gong practitioners. It was full and there was no tiger bench left. Another police officer said that they got up at 5 a.m. in the morning and had been busy all day and that their main task was to arrest Falun Gong practitioners from Harbin. It was learned later on that on December 31, about 30 practitioners were arrested. The arrests had long been planned by the CCP. They tracked and monitored them on the phone and Internet for a long time. The CCP labeled it a “Midnight Action,” which took place before midnight on January 1, 2012. Police arrested all Falun Gong practitioners they had been monitoring in the areas. When they arrested the practitioners, they also arrested their family members to terrorize them.
Ms. Qin Rongqian was tied up on the tiger bench for nearly eight hours. She was not released until 6 p.m. The police threw at Ms. Qin the two bags that she had brought. It turned out that Yang Guohong did not deliver the personal items that Qin Rongqian had brought for her mother and younger sister. Instead she handed them over to the police at the city police station. Toilet paper, sanitary napkins, and soap had all been torn open. The police were trying to find some “evidence” and attempted to strengthen their case against Qin Rongqian. The officers told Ms. Qin to collect all of the things she'd brought and then leave. She asked what had happened to the old lady who had accompanied her to the forced labor camp. They told her to leave first. Ms. Qin waited outside until the old lady safely came out and then she left.
Wang Yaluo and Others Attempted to Arrest Qin Rongqian Again.
As Chinese New Year neared, Ms. Qin Rongqian went to Qianjin Forced Labor Camp several times but was not allowed to see her mother or younger sister, let alone get any news about them. She was very worried about them, so on January 13, 2012, she went to the labor camp again to try to deliver the personal items that she'd tried to get to them during her last visit on December 31, 2011. She also wanted to ask her mother and younger sister to sign the paperwork for an “administrative reconsideration for the forced labor camp term.”
Right after Ms. Qin Rongqian arrived at the reception office, she saw many family members waiting outside to register. Those who did not register were not allowed to go inside. She waited outside for a long time and still did not see anybody coming out. Then she walked over and knocked on the door. (Over 40 Falun Gong practitioners were detained there. They were divided into two groups. The forced labor camp used brutal torture to try to “transform” these practitioners. It was reported that, on January 20, 2012, another group of practitioners were also sent there.) An officer opened the door a crack and asked what Qin Rongqian was doing there. She replied that she wanted to give some money for her mother and younger sister. The police were surprised to see that it was Qin Rongqian. They thought that she must have been detained. They then told her to go inside the reception office, but they would now allow her to visit her mother or younger sister.
When the police told her that she could not send any personal items, Ms. Qin Rongqian saved up some money for her mother and younger sister. Qin Rongqian was very surprised and said, “I noticed that you sent out the notice yesterday about not allowing people to send personal items, but I brought some to my mother and younger sister on the 31st of last month. They should have been given to my mother and younger sister already. However, policeman Yang Guohong maliciously plotted to persecute me. I was tortured on a tiger bench for nearly eight hours at the city police station. They then released me after 6 p.m. At that time, Yang Guohong still lied to me and said they had delivered those items to my mother and my younger sister. I did not realize that those supplies were taken with me to the police station.” The police were very apprehensive and went inside the room to discuss things for quite some time. Then they came out and said they would allow her to leave the items for her mother and sister.
Once again, Ms. Qin Rongqian told the police officers details of how the last time she was arrested by Yang Guohong and others at the Harbin Police Station and suffered nearly 8 hours of interrogation and torture on a tiger bench. Yang Guohong secretly watched the entire process, but she dared not to look into Qin Rongqian's eyes, nor did she say a word.
After that, Ms. Qin Rongqian went to the 3rd floor and visited the director, Wang Yaluo. He asked her, “Why are you here again?” Ms. Qin said very sincerely, “Before getting any reply from you after I submitted the administrative reconsideration paperwork for my mother and sister, you guys reported me and then I was arrested.” Then she told him everything that had happened. He smirked and said, “Is that so? Are you sure it was me who reported you to the police?” Qin Rongqian said, “It was you guys. The police who arrested me told me that it was you who reported me.” After hearing that, he did not deny it. Qin Rongqian explained that there was nothing wrong with her sending some daily supplies to her mother and sister and submitting the administrative reconsideration paperwork. She said she could not understand why they would report her to the police and have her arrested. Wang Yaluo shamelessly claimed, “There is nothing wrong with you. It was because that old lady who came here with you last time practices Falun Gong. Isn't she your aunt or something? It was she who gave you those ideas. Therefore, you should not have contact with them (Falun Gong practitioners) again in the future....”
Qin Rongqian once again talked to him about the administrative reconsideration and getting her mother and sister's signatures. He said he did not agree to the administrative reconsideration and did not allow Wang Xiuqing and Qin Hailong to sign their names on the paperwork. He also told Qin Rongqian that if she insisted on going forward, she would need to go through some legal procedures in some departments that dealt with forced labor camp reconsideration. That would also work if she did not get signatures from Wang Xiuqing and Qin Hailong. Ms. Qin Rongqian insisted on asking her mother and younger sister to sign their names. She asked Wang Yaluo why they would not allow her to see them. Wang said, “It is not suitable for you to see them.” Qin Rongqian asked, “Who will be the right person to see them?” Wang said, “Just because you also practice Falun Gong, we will not allow you to see them.” Before she left Qin Rongqian told him, “I will go to visit the departments dealing with forced labor camp reconsideration and will come back to see you if they still want me to get signatures from my mother and my sister.” He got very angry and said, “This will be the last time I see you. You will not have another chance to come to my office in the future.”
The traditional Chinese New Year is a time of reunion for families. Instead, Qin Rongqian had to run around during cold winter days trying to rescue her mother and younger sister.
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhuang Wei from Pudong, Shanghai has been detained in the New Pudong District Detention Center since she was arrested by police on December 13, 2011. The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Procuratorate issued the arrest approval only recently. She is most likely facing extended prison time. Her attorney went to the detention center to visit her on January 16, 2012.

Ms. Zhuang Wei started to practice Falun Gong when she was in graduate school at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1999. After the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, Ms. Zhuang was sent to a forced labor camp because she remained steadfast in her belief in Falun Dafa. She was released in 2004.
Ms. Zhuang Wei lives in New Pudong District, Shanghai. Her daughter is six years old. On December 13, 2011, she was followed and then arrested by some local policemen. She was taken to the Huamu Police Station, and was then transferred to the New Pudong District Detention Center.
A policewoman (whose last name is Lu) from the Huamu Police station arrested Ms. Zhuang. The excuse was that Ms. Zhuang mailed letters about Falun Gong. On that day, policewoman Lu, Cai Hongqi (a community public security officer), Xia Min (a community guard) and another policeman (whose police I.D. is 13386285771) grabbed keys away from Ms. Zhuang Wei and ransacked her home. They took away two computers and some Falun Dafa books and informational materials. Cai Hongqi signed the confiscation list as a witness.
On January 18, 2012, Ms. Zhuang's family went to the Appeals Hall in Pudong Police Department to try and get back the two computers, one USB player and 64 blank CDs.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners, father and son, Liao Songlin and Liao Zhijun from Chenzhou City in Hunan Province were illegally arrested while at home in May 2008 and unjustly sentenced. Mr. Liao Songlin was sentenced to four years and Mr. Liao Zhijun was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment.
The following is Mr. Liao Zhijun's account of his horrific experience while he was detained at Chenzhou Detention Center and Jinshi Prison in Changde after being arrested.
On May 10, 2008, around 9 a.m., my parents, my child, and I were at home. Suddenly, six to seven plainclothes police officers broke into my house and, without showing any legal documents or warrants, seized my father and me. I only found out later on that they were from Chenzhou City Police Department.
During the arrest, I shouted with all my might: “Falun Dafa is good!” The police quickly stuffed a towel into my mouth. Two to three of them grabbed me and dragged me into a police car. I was then taken to the detention center.

As soon as I was brought to the prison, a criminal inmate took a blanket from the bed and covered my head with it. He proceeded to viciously beat me.
On December 13, 2008, I was taken to the custody center at Jinshi Prison. Convicts rummaged through my belongings and found some Falun Gong scriptures. The prison guards instigated four to five convicts to beat me, stuffed my mouth with a cloth, and then dragged me into a prison cell. The convicts continued to beat me, causing my nose to bleed profusely.
On March 6, 2009, I was transferred to the No. 1 prison ward in Jinshi Prison. The deputy warden at that time, Xiao Jian, instructed convicts to strip off my clothes and brutally beat me. As a result of the beatings, the insides of both my legs were lacerated. The convicts also pinned me down to the bed and handcuffed both hands behind my back, fastening them onto the bed railings above my head. The pain was excruciating. I was kept handcuffed in this position for more than 10 hours.

On July 29, 2009, deputy ward head Xiao Jian instigated guard Li to lift both my hands above my head and cuff them to the railings on the upper bunk bed, with my feet standing on the ground.
I was tortured like that for a day. The next day, I was taken to the stairway and handcuffed in a similar position. This time my hands were shackled to railings on the staircase. On the third day, because my legs had become swollen, convicts were ordered to pin me to the bed and handcuffed both hands to the bed railings. I was kept handcuffed that way for two days and continuously tortured.
On May 28, 2011, the prison education section head, Luo Hua; deputy head Chen Lei; and a “teacher” surnamed Liu, who I think was sent by the prison management bureau, instigated guard Li Benan to take me to a brainwashing session set up by the 5th Division to persecute practitioners.
Because I was not “transformed” after two days of constant brainwashing, I was not allowed to take a shower or sleep. At 11 p.m., I was taken out for a “talk,” which went on till 2 a.m., and I was not allowed to sleep. Statements slandering Master were pasted all over the room, and I was forced to stand facing the wall. As a result of the intense mental pressure, I had trouble focusing my thoughts.
I also witnessed other practitioners being tortured while I was detained in the 5th ward. Zeng Haiqi from Xiangtan was forbidden to sleep for one week. Prisoner Huang Zhengjiao tortured him by bending his palm backward. Yang Chengye from Yongzhou, who was in his 70s, was beaten by prison convicts on September 13 at around 5 a.m., and two of his teeth were knocked out.

Before practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Liao Zhijun's father, Mr. Liao Songlin, suffered from many illnesses, including neurosis, tuberculosis, prostatitis, gastritis, and the aftereffects of a concussion caused by a work accident. After practicing Falun Gong, these ailments disappeared. He also repaired water and electrical facilities for his workplace on many occasions for free. When he repaired his neighbors' electrical appliances, he would not accept any gifts or payment from them.
After the Communist regime began its brutal suppression of Falun Gong in July 1999, the Liao family did not enjoy many peaceful days together. From 1999 to 2000, Mr. Liao Zhijun was illegally arrested, detained twice, and unjustly fined 6000 yuan. He was subsequently put under house arrest for a year by his workplace. On March 5, 2001, he was sentenced to forced labor for two years and detained in Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Changsha, Hunan Province. In 2004, he was arrested and sent to a forced labor camp again in Chenzhou. His father, Mr. Liao Songlin, was arrested and sent to a brainwashing center in 2001. In August 2002, he was seized and locked up at Chenzhou City Detention Center. On September 6, 2003, he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by Beihu District Court in Chenzhou and sent to Jinshi Prison.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of December 15, 2011, Mr. Zhang Junan was driving his taxicab when he was arrested by officers from Yihe Police Station of Yingcheng, Hubei Province. The police impounded his car.
Honest Taxi Driver of High Integrity
Mr. Zhang is a Falun Gong practitioner who believes in Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, and possesses high moral standards. In June 2005, he found gold accessories worth of over 100,000 yuan, (almost $16,000 USD) which was left on the back seat of his taxi by a Taiwanese customer. He made several inquiries in an attempt to find the owner. Eventually, he brought the lost property to the Yueyuan Community's Estate Office in Yingcheng, and returned the valuables in person to the concerned owner.
The owner was deeply moved by Mr. Zhang's integrity and refusal to accept a reward. The owner spoke to the media including the local TV station, local radio station and newspapers, including the Chutianjin Newspaper. However, the media omitted the fact that Mr. Zhang was a Falun Gong practitioner. This kindhearted person is currently being detained and persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Harsh Conditions for His Family
The day after his arrest, his family went to the Yihe Police Station to demand the release of Mr. Zhang and his taxicab. That afternoon, the authorities released the car but not Mr. Zhang, who was transferred to the Yingcheng Second Detention Center, where he is currently being held.
Mr. Zhang's wife requires assistance to walk. She has no personal income, and can't perform even routine housework. Mr. Zhang was the only person who took care of her, their child in school, and his 70-year-old mother. The whole family lived solely on his income from driving the taxi, which was shared with his business partner.
Since Mr. Zhang's family couldn't survive without him, his mother and wife, along with relatives and friends' help, went to the Yihe Police Station to request his release. They were driven away in a harsh manner by police station authorities. Since his wife couldn't walk, the two of them could only sit near the police station wrapped in a quilt.

(Clearwisdom.net) Sixty-five-year-old Ms. Xu Guifang from Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province was arrested on the morning of February 3, 2012 as she spoke with people about Falun Gong at a square near her home. Officers from the Chengguan Town Police Station made the arrest and ransacked her home. Ms. Xu is currently being held in the Yao County Detention Center.
Ms. Xu Guifang is a law-abiding and kind lady. For remaining steadfast in her belief, she has been persecuted numerous times by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents. She was once subjected to one and a half years of forced labor, and another time, to three years in prison. Since Ms. Xu was released, Tongchuan police and 610 Office agents have harassed her many times. She had to live away from home to avoid persecution. Ms. Xu’s oldest daughter, Liu Chunxia, is also a practitioner, and the physical abuse and torture she was subjected to in the Shaanxi Province Women’s Forced Labor Camp and Tongchuan 610 Office caused her to suffer a mental collapse.
Ms. Xu started practicing Falun Dafa in March, 1999. Before practicing, she suffered from many illnesses, such as stomach problems, nephritis, sciatica, low blood pressure, and anemia. As she practiced Falun Dafa, she gradually recovered, and became happy and energetic.
After the CCP launched the persecution on July 20, 1999, officers from the Yintai Police Station led by Wang Lujun broke into Ms. Xu’s home on December 25, 2000. They searched everywhere and took Ms. Xu to the police station, detaining her there for a day.
On June 12, 2002, twelve police officers ransacked Ms. Xu’s home and arrested her. Because her daughter was reported as she posted information about Falun Gong, the police went to her home and also arrested Ms. Xu along the way. She was released in early August 2002. She went everywhere looking for her daughter, but no government officers would give her any information about her daughter’s whereabouts. Ms. Xu went to Xi’an to appeal, but the Tongchuan police and 610 Office agents brought her back. In retaliation for exposing their evil deeds, they subjected her to one and a half years of forced labor. Ms. Xu’s daughter was also subjected to forced labor for two and a half years.
While being detained, Ms. Xu’s daughter was physically abused every day. In order to add to the mental pressure, the guards kept threatening her. As a result, she was soon in a confused state of mind, and the condition became worse and worse. The camp officials finally released her. After she gradually recovered, Wangyi Police Station officers and 610 Office agents began to constantly harass her at home. When Ms. Xu’s daughter clarified the facts to them, they sent her directly to a mental hospital. While she was detained there, they injected her with poisonous drugs. As a result of being injected with these substances, her daughter became mentally unbalanced. Her condition worsened daily; she became emaciated, and talked irrationally. It has been confirmed through various sources that the one who injected her with poisonous drugs was Zheng Jingli.
Torture Re-enactment: Toxic injections
In 2006, officers from the Tongchuan Police Station revisited Ms. Xu’s home and ransacked it. They fabricated evidence and trumped up charges against her. Ms. Xu was given three years of imprisonment, where she was subjected to severe physical abuse and torture. She was finally released; however, local police and 610 Office agents came to her home in an attempt to persecute her further, so she had to live away from home.
In the second half of 2011, Ms. Xu returned home to take care of her husband, in his 70s, who suffered from an unexpected condition. Tongchuan police learned that she had returned and arrested her.
(Clearwisdom.net) A "Solemn Declaration" is a person's public statement to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. These statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wish to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. (Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners in our city have recently been devoted to promoting Shen Yun shows. I collected their experiences to share with everyone.
A. Studying the Fa
I did the five exercises after work. When I silently read the formula, I felt my whole body was shaken. The meaning behind the formula suddenly dawned on me. Wasn't it telling me how I should promote the Shen Yun show? It was simple. I didn't need to think much, but just follow the mechanism that Master has set up.
Such things happened often. The Fa's principles continued to dawn on me as I studied the Fa more. I often gained new understandings and felt warm energy, but I couldn't always tell exactly what the understanding was.
I recently was promoting Shen Yun shows in a mall. I studied the Fa everyday, and from every lecture of Zhuan Falun I read, I gained more understanding about how to sell tickets and how to make improvements from reading the Fa.
One day, I went out to sell tickets after doing the exercises and studying the Fa, and there were very few people in the mall. I tried my best to engage everyone passing by, but they all seemed indifferent. I sent forth righteous thoughts, but things didn't change much. I quickly realized that there must be something wrong within myself. I began to look inward. A sentence flashed in my mind, “Studying the Fa with attachments is not true cultivation” (“Towards Consummation” – Essentials for Further Advancement II). It dawned on me that even though I had studied the Fa in the morning, I did so for the purpose of selling more tickets. I studied the Fa with pursuit, attempting to use Dafa to accomplish my goal. My goal of selling more tickets was to validate myself through Dafa. What a terrible human way of thinking!
I hurried to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate this attachment. Things changed accordingly. More people approached me with interest in the show. I realized we should study the Fa unconditionally. If we can't see the meaning of the Fa during study, we must have been obstructed by ourselves. If we intend to pursue something from Dafa with attachments, it doesn't work no matter how much we study.
Master said,
“If you, as a cultivator, only part with things superficially while deep down inside you still stick to something or cling to your own vital interests that you don’t allow to be undermined, I’d say to you that your cultivation is fake! If your own thinking doesn’t change, you cannot advance even one step and are deceiving yourself.”
“When humans want to protect themselves, their thoughts arise from selfishness—a self-serving desire. They don’t want suffering, but only happiness and good fortune.” (“Lecture at the First Conference in North America”)
As I looked inward to see if I was clinging to my own vital interests, I gradually realized that “self-protection” insinuated into my life deeply. Without knowing it, I treated it as myself. It even played a role when I was studying the Fa and doing Fa-validation projects. It misled me. I realized that I studied the Fa because of “self-protection,” knowing the old forces would interfere and persecute me if I didn't study the Fa. The root of it was the attachment to myself. It was the old forces' nature of selfishness.
The universe in the future will be unselfish, but I have been clinging to my selfishness and trying in vain to ask Dafa to protect this selfish me. My Fa-study was completely different after I eliminated this attachment. As soon as I quieted down, I began to see the Fa's principles. I would remember Master and Dafa when I ran into problems. I learned the profoundness of looking inward and improving my heart nature. I experienced the solemness and mighty power of righteous thoughts. I gained an understanding of denying the old forces' arrangement. I feel gratitude to Master from the bottom of my heart!
B. Looking Inward; Cultivating One's Heart Nature at Every Moment
A fellow practitioner had asked for a ride. As I was driving, she called another practitioner. They had some disagreement during their conversation. The fellow practitioner in my car said, “Cover up.” After I dropped her off, I headed to the mall to sell tickets. However, I took the wrong road and ended up heading in the opposite direction. I knew there was something wrong with my mind. I began to look inward and suddenly remembered what the fellow practitioner said, “Cover up.” I indeed found a “cover-up” in my heart.
Master said,
“Or you’ll be there in that nice community, stealthily tossing a flyer here and a flyer there, acting as if you’re ashamed to be seen doing that. Sure, some people do hate junk mail and the like, but there will always be some approaches that don’t resonate with certain people. You have to make a distinction: this is something huge—everyone is waiting to be saved!—so as long as you don’t overdo it, people will understand. We really do have some people who have done a great job, who have gone about things in a very natural and poised manner in upscale neighborhoods. And when they’ve spoken with people, they have been quite at ease. Instantly the other party has been delighted, just as if they’d been waiting for you. That really is the case. There has been a great deal of groundwork done in advance. All that’s missing is your carrying things out with righteous thoughts. Yet you haven’t had the righteous thoughts that it takes.” (“Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference”)
I have studied this paragraph many times. Every time and without hesitation, I categorized myself in the group who have a “natural and poised manner,” I have never felt that I did it “stealthily” or was “ashamed.” I didn't realize until that day that although I appeared natural and poised, I still had stealthiness in my heart. I hurried to eliminate my “cover-up” intensively. The black substance in my heart was soon gone. It turned golden and shiny.
I felt interference from something shady before I went to sell tickets one day. Distracting thoughts came to my mind. I sent forth righteous thoughts targeting this interference. It became lighter, but it wasn't completely gone. I looked inward but couldn't find anything. Our ticket sales group has three people, so one person can go and send forth righteous thoughts nearby. One time, I went to a quiet place to send forth righteous thoughts. When I went back to the sales counter, my fellow practitioners told me they hadn't been able to find me anywhere. They had seen me head one way, but I ended up coming back from the other direction. I joked, “I walked through another dimension. That's why you couldn't see me.” One fellow practitioner said, “OK. Don't brag.” Her words shook my heart. I found why I felt distracted that day: I like to brag. I suddenly felt relieved that Master told me what it was through my fellow practitioner. I eliminated it further that evening and I was completely clear-minded afterward. Having been influenced by the Communist Party culture after living in China for years, I had a bad habit of bragging and didn't realize it until it was pointed out to me.
My manager at work asked me do something one day, which I considered a waste of time. I felt uneasy, but I realized there was something wrong within myself. I searched inward and found that I had been regarding myself as extraordinary. I liked to do sophisticated jobs that showed how important I was. Master saw my heart and arranged for me to take care of unimportant and simple things with nitty-gritty details. I began to do the job with extra care. I felt warm and comforting energy flowing in my body. It lasted a long time.
Such things happen everyday. As soon as I feel uneasy, I look inward. No matter what happened, I look inward for my own fault as to why I feel uneasy. It seems to have become my basic instinct. I no longer judge right or wrong from the appearance. Even when I hear a conversation completely unrelated to me that disturbed my mind, I look inward immediately to see why my mind was disturbed.
One day, I read four experience-sharing articles in a row from the Clearwisdom website. I think they were great sharings. Every article seemed to be talking about me. I used to be unwilling to apologize. Now I realized that it was my fault and I sincerely apologized to my fellow practitioners, who I have hurt intentionally or unintentionally.
C. Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts
Sending forth righteous thoughts is one of the three things that Master asked us to do. One time, our Fa-study group sent forth righteous thoughts in the middle of our Fa-study. As soon as I recited the formula in my heart, my mind went blank in a fraction of a second. The whole process of sending forth righteous thoughts was peaceful but stately. I could only feel the strong and warm energy rushing out. I knew clearly that I was sending forth righteous thoughts, and that was all. I didn't have a single distracting thought.
I sent forth righteous thoughts intensively one time. After a while, I felt like my head disappeared into the golden light. As I continued, I felt my body melted into the golden light, too. After half an hour, I felt a myriad of golden rays around.
After I formed the habit of looking inward, I began to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate my attachments as soon as I found them. I could clean out many attachments on some days. I can clearly feel the existence of attachments and the change after cleaning them out. I often feel a warm energy flow in my body, sometimes for a whole day.
I went to sell tickets one day. Passersby showed no interest. I tried my best to talk to everyone, but they wouldn't stop to listen. I felt nervous, even afraid. I realized that there was some interference. When I looked for the source of the interference, I felt some black substance. I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it. The black substance became thinner and thinner and eventually disappeared. People began to listen to my introduction to the show. Those interested approached by themselves.
Sometimes I didn't have to put my mind on sending forth righteous thoughts when I was selling tickets. My energy was cast over when I talked to people about Shen Yun. One time, a woman was interested in buying tickets, but she wanted to talk to her family first. As she walked out, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the factors blocking her from watching the Shen Yun show. I could feel my energy enter her field. Something black fell out of her field. One or two seconds later, she turned around and said she didn't need to ask her family. She wanted to buy the tickets right away.
D. Perpetual Gratitude Towards Master
My strongest feeling during my cultivation has been my endless gratitude towards Master. All has come from Master. All glory belongs to Dafa. Remembering Master's grace forever is our righteous thought.
I found a loose tooth on Sunday evening. I felt very bothered and wanted to send forth righteous thoughts. But I got busy and forgot about it. When I remembered it around noon on Monday, I felt ashamed because everything on the path of cultivation is good, no matter if it appears to be good or bad. If Master had arranged to make me lose a tooth, a huge debt must be paid. I felt at ease and stopped paying attention to my tooth. I thank Master, regardless of whether I lose this tooth or not.
Sending forth righteous thoughts is the key Master has bestowed on us. So many Dafa practitioners in China are under persecution. So many projects need help. I didn't send forth righteous thoughts for them, but did it for my own comfort. How selfish I was! I let go of this attachment. My time should be spent sending forth righteous thoughts for the Shen Yun shows and for saving sentient beings.
E. Completely Denying the Old Forces' Arrangement
One day when I came back from selling the tickets and had just parked my car near a highway, a car exiting the highway crashed into my car from behind. I felt that my neck got twisted, and my ribs hurt. Master's teaching from Zhuan Falun about a Falun Dafa practitioner in a car accident flashed in my mind. I drove to the side of the road and got out of my car. The other driver was stunned. He kept asking me if I was OK. I told him that I was. I found that my car was fine, too, and I told him that he could leave. When I returned to my car, I began to think: I was hit even when my car wasn't moving. It must be telling me that I have been stagnant for too long; I must hurry and move forward. I studied the Fa when I got back home. I found my attachment to “self-protection” and eliminated it, and as a result I made a big step forward in my cultivation.
One morning, my stomach started to hurt when I was preparing to go sell tickets. I eliminated the interference by sending forth righteous thoughts and felt much better, but it wasn't completely gone. I had to use the restroom again when I got to the mall. I decided to ignore the pain. I told myself repeatedly, “I put Master on top of everything.” I felt enormous energy flow in my body. It got stronger and stronger. The energy became so strong around noon that it made my arms and legs shake. We sold a lot of tickets that day.
It snowed one day. There is a turn that I have to make right after exiting the highway, but the road at the turn was covered with ice. My car slid on the ice and started dashing towards a ditch in the opposite direction, and at the same time another car exiting the highway approached me. At this critical moment, only one sentence flashed in my mind, “Master, please save me!” My car suddenly made a turn by itself and drove to the right side of the road--I didn't even turn the steeling wheel!
I started sending forth righteous thoughts when I got to my workplace. The first time I did it, I was still thinking of eliminating the interference and persecution by the old forces. Before I sent forth righteous thoughts again around noon, Master's teaching about completely denying the old forces' arrangement unfolded before me. I gained a new understanding of it, felt relieved, and sent forth righteous thoughts the second time. My goal wasn't to avoid having tribulations, but to take responsibility to eliminate the evil that was interfering with and blocking Master from saving sentient beings. It was what Master asked us to do. I sent forth righteous thoughts for half an hour. I felt like my head and my body disappeared and turned into golden light.
It is actually pretty simple to completely deny the arrangement of the old forces. A person who cultivates himself holds Master and Dafa in his heart. That's what he thinks of when facing a tribulation. He doesn't give any thought of how to get out of the tribulation arranged by the old forces. Such a Dafa disciple can't be hurt by anyone. Looking inward is a Dafa disciple's nature and is his/her process of cultivation. Sending forth righteous thoughts is a Dafa disciple's responsibility and mission, not a way of avoiding tribulations.
(Clearwisdom.net) I have recently edited a practitioner's article, which was his narration of the persecution that he had been subjected to. The article was relatively long, and all the events are recorded chronologically. Considering that it was the practitioner's own account of his experiences, I only added an introduction and an ending to it before submitting it to the Minghui website. After the article was published, I compiled it into a flyer to use as truth clarification material, without deleting a single word, and then submitted it to the Minghui website again. One week passed, but the Minghui editors did not publish it. At that time, I didn't take into account the fact that this flyer's targeted readers are non-practitioners, and I didn’t take into consideration their ability to accept all of its content. Instead, I focused my attention on whether other articles in the flyer were appropriate. Thus, I deleted articles that I assumed were not fitting, and replaced them with articles that I thought were more suitable. I then submitted the updated version of the flyer to the Minghui website again, and this time it was published. I thought that I had done the right thing, and didn’t give it any more thought.
When I opened my email the next day, I saw the feedback from a Minghui editor, it read, “Practitioner editor for the truth clarification flyer, greetings: When selecting cases of persecution, please pay attention to those typical cases, and try not to write them as a running account. Our flyer's targeted readers are non-practitioners... I suggest you re-edit and condense the content.”
After reading this, I realized that the Minghui editor had only published my updated version of the flyer, because they were compassionate and had taken in to consideration the harsh environment I was subjected to in mainland China, and that I was editing truth clarification materials to validate the Fa. They therefore decided to publish my flyer, but it didn't mean that my flyer had met the requirements to validate the Fa. Minghui editors are responsible to the Fa, and to fellow practitioners, so they sent me feedback, reminding me of the requirements for our articles.
Master's Fa rang clearly in my ears, “Any work in Dafa is intended for people to obtain the Fa and for disciples to improve themselves” (“Clearheadedness” in Essentials for Further Advancement). I realized that no matter what we do, especially working as an editor to validate the Fa, we are doing it to save sentient beings. With regards to the article that I selected for the truth clarification flyer, after I read it once, I did not have the desire to read it again. If I could have thought of what the Minghui editor suggested in their feedback, I am sure that I could have done a better job. When I edited it, I should have considered modifying it. I should have looked inward when it was not published, and immediately corrected the article. But I failed to realize all of this until a Minghui editor pointed it out to me.
I’ve come to realize that my real gap is not that I didn’t know how to do it, but that I didn’t remember why we are doing it: To save sentient beings. I quickly modified, refined and condensed more than half of the content. When I submitted the flyer to the Minghui website for a third time, I felt that my xinxing had improved in the process.
(Clearwisdom.net) Last Fall, I helped my younger sister harvest the corn from the field. During lunch break, my nephew set the cornstalks afire, as is traditionally done, to burn off the leaves while retaining the stem. Due to the dryness of the crop and the strong wind, the fire quickly spread outside of our field and onto the levees. The fire became bigger and bigger and there was no way for us to put it out. My brother-in-law was so frightened that he stood there quivering.
I have an elder sister who is a Falun Dafa practitioner. I remembered she once told me that in times of danger, I could receive help by saying: “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I also remembered reading a story in a little truth clarification booklet about a ship that was about to sink in the middle of the ocean. The sailors on board called out, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" and the ship was able to avoid imminent danger.
I then said, "Master Li Hongzhi, please help save us! Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" We were amazed to see that the fire became smaller. I shouted those words out loud again, five or six times more times. We watched as the fire extinguished itself! We were all very touched at that moment. It was Falun Dafa that saved us! Without this help the consequences would have been quite serious. I thanked Master Li right on the spot, “ It is you, Master, who has saved us. Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
Now, I am also a Falun Dafa practitioner.
(Clearwisdom.net) Ever since I was a child, I enjoyed reading stories of myths and legends. I especially enjoyed reading about the fantastical beings who were able to live very long lives, for it is only natural that a human being does not want to die. When I was fifty years old, I received some terrible news that caused me to directly confront my fears.
I suddenly started menstruating again in December 2010, after already having gone through menopause. I visited several major hospitals, and their results all showed the same thing, that I had cervical cancer. My first thoughts were that nowadays medical technology is very advanced and that many cancer patients manage to live for decades with cancer. My doctor recommended a more conservative method of treatment that would not involve surgery, and I took this as an encouraging sign.
However after multiple treatments, my health only got worse and worse. As of March 2011, I had spent over 60,000 yuan on medical expenses and felt like I was not getting any benefit for my money. The doctors eventually sent me home because they believed that my body was no longer responding to the treatment. However, I continued to remain dependent on medication to stay alive. I was extremely thin and in constant pain all the time. I could hardly eat or sleep.
My husband heard that Falun Gong had saved peoples' lives, so he invited a Falun Gong practitioner to our home in mid-August and suggested that I learn the practice. Wracked by serious pain, I agreed without hesitation.
After reading Zhuan Falun, I felt deeply drawn by the principles that teach us how to be good people. This was in stark contrast to everything the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) told us about Falun Gong. I felt regret that I had believed in the CCP's lies for so long.
I understood that Falun Gong is about cultivation, and not just for healing illnesses. My health started to improve and I was able to walk remarkably well within just a few days. My health soon recovered, and people were surprised when they learned that Falun Gong had saved my life. An acquaintance once said to me, “Wow, you look so healthy. You'd better keep it up!” As a result of the improvements in my health, many people are very interested in Falun Gong. My uncle and the former leader of the village were talking with the current leader, and said, “My niece has recovered from her serious sickness through practicing Falun Gong.” Because he said this, many other people also became aware that Falun Dafa is good.
After playing the video of Teacher's Fa lectures and the songs by practitioners at home every day, I have noticed that the atmosphere at my home has improved. My children no longer watch television programs that instill bad messages in people and they have become more respectful. When I listen to the Fa lectures, they sit down with me and also listen. My husband has almost quit smoking and is much healthier.
In our small community, one couple's wife is a Falun Gong practitioner. Because the husband is afraid of being persecuted by the CCP, he used to try to stop his wife from practicing. After he found out what had happened to me, he was very surprised and now he is even thinking about learning Falun Gong himself.
I now realize that Master has given everyone a path that they can enlighten along. Whether one gets on that path is entirely up to them. Although my family members do not yet practice, I know that they have already chosen a good future, because they believe that Falun Gong is good and that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, and have also withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Spreading the News of Dafa's Blessings to Neighbors

In the first half of 2006, Ms. Liangzhen (alias), a vegetable vendor, was told by a Falun Gong practitioner that she will be blessed if she recites “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”. Believing this kind advice, she not only recited those words repeatedly, but also advised her family members to do so. The following amazing events happened around her.
One day in the second half of the year, Ms. Liangzhen was hit from behind on a street by a speeding truck. Her waistband caught on a hook in the front of the truck. She dangled in the air. She was then thrown more than 10 meters into a flowerbed on the roadside when the truck overturned.
When she realized what had happened, she was not in pain or bleeding, except for a few bruises on one foot. The driver wondered if she was dead. When the driver offered to take her to the hospital, she simply said: “I am fine. I sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I am protected by Master Li Hongzhi. I do not need to go to the hospital.” She declined 200 yuan offered by the driver as compensation and took the bus home.
On her way home one day in 2009 after selling a sack of vegetables, she was hit by a black car and unharmed again. Again she refused compensation from the driver.
A 93-year-old resident in the village fell and sprained his back. The estimate for treatment in the hospital was 20,000 yuan. As advised by Ms. Liangzhen, the elderly resident sincerely recited “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day. His back gradually recovered without any medical treatment.
Ms. Liangzhen greatly appreciates Master Li for his protection. She deeply realizes the truth, that anyone believing in Dafa will be blessed. She also tells this good advice to everyone around her.
Surviving a Catastrophe

This true story took place in Tonghua City.
Gong Ren and Meng are construction workers. Through truth clarification by Falun Gong practitioners, Mr. Gong understood that Dafa is good and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has lied. He thus quit the party, but Mr. Meng still stayed in.
In April 2007, the construction team, consisting of more than 10 workers, were assigned to remove old radiators. Each radiator weighed about 50 kilograms. The units were removed and tossed to the ground from the third floor of the building. Mr. Meng watched the site from the ground to ensure safety. Without seeing Gong Ren padding straw cushions, Mr. Meng signaled other workers upstairs to throw down the units they had just removed. Two radiators were thrown out and fell directly on Mr. Gong.
Everybody was petrified. The team supervisor ran to him. Mr. Gong was unconscious on the ground, and blood oozing out from 4 different places on the back of his head.
Fortunately, the supervisor is a Falun Gong practitioner. He picked up Mr. Gong and whispered in his ear, “Quickly recite that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. You will survive from this catastrophe.” Mr. Gong was then sent to the hospital.
When the supervisor went to the hospital to visit him a few days later, Gong Ren held his hands and said in tears, “I want to thank you for saving my life. At the crucial moment when my life was in danger, you told me to recite that Falun Dafa is good.” The supervisor replied that Falun Dafa saved you and you should appreciate Master Li.
Mr. Gong Ren soon recovered and returned to work again. After this accident, the stubborn Mr. Meng awakened and also quit the CCP.

The Chinese Communist regime has persecuted Falun Gong for the past 12 years. Many police officers who continue to do the regime's bidding in this persecution are regularly experiencing karmic retribution for their evil deeds. Below are incidences of karmic retribution suffered by police officers from the 404 Nuclear Factory in Gansu Province.
Li Shuliang, nearly 50 years old, was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2007 and was in pain until his death. Li was political head of the traffic police team in the police department of the No. 404 Nuclear Factory in 2002. Between August and September 2002, he actively took part in arresting and brutally torturing practitioners. When other officers could not bear to hit a female practitioner in her 70s, he slapped and kicked her, and whipped her with a leather belt until she collapsed. When someone asked him how he could do such a thing, he replied arrogantly, “I want to do it.” The cancer caused Li Shuliang terrible pain, and he was in agony until he died.
Zhang Shunlai, around 50 years old, was a police officer in the Nuclear Factory. Between August and September 2002, he handcuffed practitioners behind their backs against utility poles at the detention center and left them under the scorching sun. He also whipped them with tree branches. When someone reminded him that it was not good to carry out such deeds, he continued to do it without showing any remorse. In 2010, Zhang Shunlai collided with a car while riding on a motorbike. He suffered brain damage and lost consciousness. His right leg was fractured and he nearly died.
Police Officer Chang Hong Died as a Result of Karmic Retribution

Chang Hong, an officer from the Tiexi District Police Department, Siping City, Jilin Province, participated in persecuting practitioners. On November 27, 2011, at around 7:00 a.m., she jumped from the Nanhu bridge in Siping and drowned. She was only in her early 50's.
People wondered why she committed suicide at her young age. Due to her evil deeds, she developed problems with her nervous system and suffered from insomnia and depression. Consequently, she had to be admitted to the Siping Brain Hospital for treatment.
Beginning in 1999, Chang Hong actively followed the regime's orders to persecute practitioners. She harassed and personally searched practitioners, and ransacked their homes. A dozen practitioners were detained, sent to forced labor camps, and imprisoned, and at least four were tortured to death. Chang Hong even took part in seizing practitioners and taking them to brainwashing centers, where they were pressured to write statements announcing that they had given up their practice.
Kindhearted practitioners kept telling her to stop her evil deeds, but she refused to listen. Her family was also implicated by her evil deeds. Her daughter became autistic. Still, she did not repent and continued to persecute practitioners. In the end, she lost her life.

During the past dozen years, a number of people involved in the persecution of Falun Gong have received karmic retribution. Below are two cases that took place in Botou City. We hope the persecutors will realize that they are committing crimes, and will awaken to the true, evil face of the CCP and protect innocent people.
Party Branch Head Receives Karmic Retribution; Son Killed at Work
Zhou Diancheng was the Party branch head in Zhoutun Village, Botou City. During the persecution, although he hypocritically said, “Falun Dafa is good” in front of practitioners, he covertly and actively cooperated with the regime to persecute them.
For example, he led police officers to practitioners' homes and then hid. Although he never personally tore down any messages posted by practitioners to explain the truth, he ordered people who worked under him to do it.
Gradually, the people following his orders realized that he was using them to commit crimes, so they stopped working for him. Finally, he was betrayed by an adviser who publicized all the evidence of the crimes Zhou Diancheng committed over the years. Zhou was forced to step down from office in disgrace.
Later on, his elder son was electrocuted at work. Several co-workers used the same arc welder and it worked fine, but as soon as Zhou's son started using it, it stopped working. When he was re-connecting the wires, he was electrocuted and died on the spot.
Villager Zhou Baoshuang Receives Karmic Retribution
Zhou Baoshuang lived in Zhoutun Village, Botou City. After the communist regime started persecuting practitioners, he became a secret agent. He followed regime officials' orders to harass practitioners. He collected the practitioners' information and reported on them to the authorities. One day, Zhou suddenly had a seizure and his body became rigid. Before he could be brought home, he was dead.
