(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaoping, former Criminal Investigations Chief of Baoshan Copper Mine Guiyang County, Chenzhou, Hunan province, was forcibly taken from his workplace at 7:30 a.m. on October 24, 2012, by Guiyang County 610 Office head Hu Yunguo and local police officers. He was taken to the so-called Changsha legal education training center at Laodaohe, Changsha for brainwashing.

Wang Xiaoping is around 50 years old. He was a former investigator in the Baoshan Public Security Bureau, and Chief of Criminal Investigations. He attended Teacher Li's lectures in Chenzhou in 1994, and then stepped into Dafa practice. He is self-disciplined at work and in daily life, works diligently and conscientiously, and is recognized by his leaders and colleagues as a good man.

After Jiang's regime began to persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, the public security bureau cadres talked to him, and tried to force him to renounce Falun Gong. He felt he had done nothing wrong by being a good person and a Falun Gong practitioner, so he refused to “transform.” After July 20, 1999, he was removed from the Baoshan Public Security Bureau, but the 610 officers and national security guards did not leave him alone. In 2000, Hu Yunguo and Li Wei beat Wang Xiaoping and detained him for over 30 days at the Guiyang Detention Center in order to force him to give up the practice. His workplace lowered his position from Criminal Investigation Chief to a general staff member, and then transferred him to an underground site due to pressure from the 610 Office.

Even so, County 610 still did not give up, and forced him to attend brainwashing sessions held in Chenzhou. He was taken to the sessions four times. In October 2011, Wang Xiaoping was sent to the “legal study class” in Chenzhou. Hu Yunguo alleged that he was ordered to do this by higher-ups, and that he had no choice.

Because Wang Xiaoping refused to be transformed, since the beginning of 2012, Hu Yunguo and 610 officers repeatedly threatened him with: “We are going to send you to Changsha Brainwashing Center in Hunan Province.” Wang Xiaoping did not compromise in the face of pressure; he explained the truth to the 610 officers and to his workplace cadres: “I practice Falun Gong and have done nothing wrong, I behave according to “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” am a moral person and a good worker, so what is wrong with that? You want to send me to the brainwashing class--this is mental torture to citizens, illegal, and tramples the national Constitution. I hope you won't knowingly violate the law, will not persecute Falun Gong practitioners, and will be responsible for yourself and your family. I just hope you will have a better future.”

At 7:30 a.m. on October 24, 2012, Guiyang County 610 Office head Hu Yunguo led many police and Domestic Security Division officers to Wang Xiaoping's workplace, and forcibly took him away. When Wang Xiaoping's wife rushed to the office, she asked: “Where are you taking him?” Hu Yunguo lied and said: "He will be sent to Chenzhou Beihu District Party School." As a result, his family searched everywhere in the school but did not find him.

Currently, Wang Xiaoping is still suffering persecution in the "Changsha Legal Education Center” of Changsha Laodaohe. I hope righteous people in China and abroad will lend a hand, stop the persecution, and help rescue Wang Xiaoping and other Falun Gong practitioners suffering persecution at the Changsha Legal Education Center.
