(Minghui.org) On the afternoon of September 18, 2012, people were sitting on benches enjoying beautiful Chengfeng Lake in Daqing, when several police vehicles arrived. Zheng Junchang, deputy police chief, and several plainclothes officers from the Chengfeng Police Department arrested 46 year-old Ms. Wang Fajuan, and 72 year-old Ms. Zheng Yulan from the crowd, forced them into one of the police vehicles, then took them to the Chengfeng Police Department.

Ms. Wang is a kind and virtuous person and acknowledged as such by people throughout her workplace and in her neighborhood. Why did the police arrest these two women? Ms. Zheng was talking to a sanitation worker at Chengfeng Square and told the worker that she recited “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good.” She also told the worker that Falun Gong was beneficial to her health, and how a leg ailment had healed. The worker, whose mind was deeply poisoned by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda, reported Ms. Zheng to the authorities.

The police confiscated Ms. Wang's home keys and mobile phone from her purse. They then went to her home and confiscated over fifty Falun Gong books, mobile phones and other personal belongings. At approximately 10:00 p.m., Ms. Zheng was released, but Ms. Wang was transferred to the Daqing First Detention Center.

Since the CCP first began persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Wang has been sentenced to seven years in prison and one year in a forced labor camp for not giving up her Falun Gong practice. She was forced into months of homelessness in order to avoid further persecution, and was fired from her workplace. Ms. Wang suffered tremendously, physically and mentally. While in prison, she was handcuffed and hung up. As a direct result, she couldn't walk without aid, and was bedridden for six months. After her release, she continued her practice and quickly recovered her health. In 2001, she was imprisoned and forced to leave her daughter alone. She was released in 2008, at the time her daughter entered college. In the countless days without her mother, Ms. Wang's daughter suffered unbearable pain. Now, after just a few years of peaceful and undisturbed life, her mother was arrested once again.

To those police officers who arrested Ms. Wang: you have parents and children, wives and siblings. How would you feel if your families and relatives were arrested? Falun Dafa is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions, enjoying support from governments and people all over the world. You know that Falun Gong teaches people to cultivate themselves, and to be kind and considerate to others. Practitioners explain the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong and expose the CCP's lies and propaganda. Practitioners want to help people realize the CCP's evil nature and escape from its control, so that they will be saved during the inevitable elimination of the CCP.
