(Minghui.org) The Falun Dafa Waist Drum Team in Taoyuan was founded in 2005. The team is comprised of 20 local practitioners. They practice the waist drums twice a week. They have participated in many community events.

On September 27-29, the team participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations in Nanpuli, Chungchengli and Dahongli in Taoyuan county. Their aim was to bring the beauty of Falun Gong to the audience.

Mr. He Chengsen, the mayor of Bade City and Lulin Hsiaofeng, a legislative member of Yaoyuan County, take a photo with practitioners.

After the performance at the celebration in Dahongli, Mr. He Chengsen, the mayor of Bade City and Lulin Hsiaofeng, a legislative member of Yaoyuan County, took a photo with practitioners. When the mayor greeted the practitioners, the first thing he said was “Falun Dafa is good!” His brother-in-law is a Falun Gong practitioner, and has become healthier and happier from practicing.

Ms. Lin, a member of the team, said: “The oldest member of our team is over 70. We try our best to cooperate with each other so that we manifest the beauty of Falun Gong to the audience.” Ms. Lin is over 60. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. Before practicing, she had many diseases, but now she is healthy and energetic. “My life was renewed by the practice of Falun Gong,” she said.

Ms. Lin said: “I never played any instrument before. When I first joined the team, I had a lot of difficulties. But, in order to share our message, I tried my best to practice. Now I participate in all kinds of activities like this. I hope that our music will help more people learn about Falun Gong.”
