(Clearwisdom.net) On August 30, the Tumen City Court of Jilin Province held an illegal trial for Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Xiaohua and did not announce the result.
The police of the Domestic Security Division of the Tumen City Public Security Bureau, and the Shixian Town Police Station, Yanbian Autonomous prefecture rushed into Ms. Liu's home, and took her and fellow practitioner Zheng Lijun from Wangqing County to the Tumen City Public Security Bureau, on the morning of March 4, 2011.
Liu Xiaohua was interrogated and tortured for four days and nights around the clock. She was deprived of sleep, had her hands burned by a cigarette lighter, eyes poked, skin burned with a cigarette, head hit with water bottle, and so on. Her buttocks and thighs were seriously swollen, black and blue, and the burn marks are still visible.
On August 30, the Tumen City Court held an illegal trial of Liu Xiaohua. Her mother and two close relatives were allowed into the courtroom, but the police did not permit them to speak. Due to their limited financial resources, her family was not able to hire a suitable attorney for her. However, Ms. Liu made pleaded innocent on her own behalf and exposed the torture and harassment she had endured at the hands of the police of the Tumen City Domestic Security Division. The court of ignored her defence.
