(Clearwisdom.net) I began practicing Falun Gong in 1997. My family has suffered brutal persecution since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution on July 20, 1999. I was sentenced to ten years in Yongchuan Women's Prison in Chongqing in 2001 because I practiced Falun Gong, and I was released in 2009.

During the past two years, local police officers and staff from the government offices have been monitoring and following me. On May 9, 2011, the secretary and deputy secretary of the community office told my husband that they would find a good a job for him, but only if I wrote a guarantee statement to renounce my belief. I declined the offer immediately.

Han Luoling from the community office asked to talk with me on July 11, but I refused. I went straight home and quickly locked the steel door. Han and a person with the last name of Cao brought a dozen police officers to my home. They broke the lock but could not open the door. They then had several young women asking me to open the door, saying that they were from the gas and power company. I told them that they should stop assisting in the persecution of Falun Gong. Several men later came to bang on my door. One of them was Liang Shibin from Jiangbei District Domestic Security Division. Liang promised me that he would let me return home once I attended their brainwashing sessions.

From that day on, people were taking shifts to monitor my home. I could not leave. Ten days later on July 21, a group of people managed to open the door downstairs and rushed in. They fiercely banged on the door of my room and told me to open it. Some of them were trying to get to me from the roof.

I could not stand it anymore. I opened the window and yelled at the bystanders on the street, “Falun Dafa is good! Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good! Falun Dafa is a righteous practice and I have the right to freedom of belief. These people are trying to break into my house to take me to a brainwashing center, so that they can torture me.”

I turned to those on the rooftop and kept shouting to them to stop persecuting practitioners. I continued to shout out and expose the persecution. They eventually left after about an hour.

I had to leave home early in the morning on July 22 to avoid further persecution.
