(Clearwisdom.net) On August 7, 2011, the number of Chinese people who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations through The Epoch Times website exceeded 100 million. This marked a historical day and a milestone that signifies that the Chinese people have awakened from the mind shackles of the CCP. It is also a symbol that the CCP is heading toward its end.
At 4:00 p.m on August 7, the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP, headquartered in Flushing, New York, held a celebration. Over 100 volunteers from the Service Center held lanterns, balloons and banners written with “Celebrating 100 million people quitting the CCP.” Waist drummers with yellow clothing were dancing and singing. Many passersby were attracted to their celebration. One person was amazed and took a picture of the historical scene.
On November 19, 2004 The Epoch Times, an independent news outlet outside of China, published Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, a book which analyzed the CCP’s violent, deceptive nature and its antagonistic stance toward nature and humanity. The book quickly spread to every corner of China and all over the world and triggered the movement of Chinese people quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Ms. Li is a volunteer at the Service Center in Flushing. She said, “I have volunteered for a year and helped 3328 people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.”
US Senate Resolution 232 Supports the Movement of Quitting the CCP and Calls for An End to the Persecution
On July 14, 2011, the US Senate introduced bipartisan Resolution 232, which recognizes the Quit-the-CCP movement, whereby Chinese citizens renounce their ties to the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, and calls for an immediate end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
CIPFG: The CCP Faces Judgment from People of the World
Mr. Wang Zhiyuan, President of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG), said that it was the darkest day in human history 12 years ago on July 20 when the CCP launched the persecution of Falun Gong in China. “The CCP’s genocidal persecution of Falun Gong is the destruction of conscience of mankind. The CCP is heading toward disintegration because of the persecution. The people of the world have finally awakened from the CCP’s deceptions.”
Mr. Wang also warned the officials who actively participate in the persecution, asking them to stop immediately and confess their crimes.

The volunteers at the Service Center for Quitting the CCP in Los Angeles held a celebration on August 7 as well. The spokesperson Ms. Li Hailun said at a rally that in the past, many have wondered and worried whether the trend of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations could become large and maintain its growth. Ms. Li also said that the CCP has been threatening, intimidating and enticing and even physically attacking the volunteers at the service centers. It even tried to hack into the website that helps people to withdraw from the Party.
However, the CCP underestimates the power of the Nine Commentaries and human nature. “Six years have passed and the stream of quitting the CCP has become a powerful current that is comprised of over 100 million people. It is crystal clear that history and the people have chosen to eliminate the CCP,” said Ms. Li.
Zhang, a Falun Gong practitioner from China who just arrived in LA said that nowadays people in China live a difficult life whether they have money or not: “The CCP has destroyed the traditional Chinese culture and people’s morality. It has brainwashed its people to be greedy, and to fight and struggle against each other.” Zhang believes that the 100 million people who have quit the CCP organizations have clearly recognized the CCP’s evil nature.
Well-known commentator Mr. Wu Fan issued a congratulatory statement as he learned the number of withdrawals had exceeded 100 million. In the statement, Mr. Wu thanked the hardworking volunteers at the Service Centers, the Falun Gong practitioners, and the tens of millions of Chinese people who have worked quietly to help dissolve the CCP. “In the near future, you will win respect and admiration from the Chinese people and people of the world.”
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Serbia held activities in the capital city, Belgrade on July 21, 2011, to condemn the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong for twelve years. They clarified the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to the public in the city center; protested in front of the Chinese Embassy, mourned fellow Falun Gong practitioners murdered by the CCP, and called for the people of Serbia to help stop the CCP's atrocities.

Falun Gong practitioner clarifies the truth in Belgrade
On the morning of July 21, practitioners protested at the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade. In front of the embassy a military vehicle was parked, from which came a dozen or more Serb police officers. They stood nervously alert opposite the Falun Gong practitioners. Two people who claimed to be from the Immigration Bureau came over to verify the practitioners' immigration status. The practitioners answered their inquiries openly. Upon seeing one of them writing with his hands shaking, the practitioners comforted them, and told them not to believe the lies of the Embassy that demonize Falun Gong. The practitioners looked so peaceful doing the exercises that the police officers were not as nervous as before. And by the time the practitioners were practicing the second set of exercises, the police began to chat casually.
One participant went over to tell the police officers what Falun Gong and the persecution in China are all about. The police officer nodded and said, 'Oh, that is it! We have never heard of Falun Gong before, let alone such a serious persecution that is happening in China. We know that the Chinese government (CCP) is a dictatorship, which did the Tiananmen Square massacre of students with tanks. But this is the first time we have heard about the persecution of Falun Gong. This is clearly a violation of human rights.
The police officers standing guard outside didn't wait until the practitioners finished the second set of exercises. They all went back into their vehicle and read the informational materials given to them by the practitioners.
(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Caribbean Carnival Parade in Hamilton, Canada, was held on August 7. The parade took off at City Hall and ended in Bay Front Park. For the fourth time, the Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of Falun Gong Practitioners from Toronto, participated in the event.

The organizer said that the Divine Land Marching Band is one of the most popular entries in the parade.
The director of the parade praised the band's good discipline.
The organizer of the parade said that they have invited the Divine Land Marching Band to the parade every year, since they learned about the band. “It is worth it. They come early and get prepared well before the parade starts. Their performances are excellent. It is one of the most popular entries in the parade,” she said.
The director of the parade said that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Caribbean Carnival, and eleven groups participated. “We invite the Divine Land Marching Band every year. The band has good discipline. They were the first one who got here this morning.”
Clement also praised the band for their performances. “From the audience's feedback you can tell how popular they are. This is also the reason why we invited them several years in a row. This band has contributed a lot to the multicultural Canada,” he said.
Many spectators expressed how they like the Divine Land Marching Band. David Ang immigrated from Indonesia eight years ago. His grandfather is Chinese, so he likes traditional Chinese culture. He said: “I like this special band the most. I am always touched when I see them these years. Their performances are touching and make people comfortable. I have a special feeling for them, which cannot be described by language. I just like them,” Ang said.

Rod said that the band's performances were absolutely excellent. “We came to Canada 10 years ago. This is the first time that we've seen this band. We really enjoyed their performances. (Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Li Xiwang from the Hebei District, Tianjin is a factory owner. He and his wife Chen Liyan were illegally arrested on December 21, 2010. After being held in the Hexi Detention Center for more than six months, Mr. Li was transferred to the Gangbei Prison (the name has been changed to the Binhai Prison). He died recently as a result of the persecution.
On the morning of July 29, two police officers came to Mr. Li's home and declared that Mr. Li “had died of sudden illness after an emergency treatment failed to save him” in the early morning hours that same day. Mr. Li's wife Ms. Chen Liyan was subjected to a one-year forced labor term, and is being held in the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin.
At noon on July 29, Mr. Li's relatives went to the Gangbei Prison, saw his remains and learned about the cause of his death. The family asked the prison officials to show them the video, and the officials replied that the Prison Bureau had sealed his record. The next day, the family was able to watch the video, but it was not clear. Mr. Li's family is negotiating with the prison, and the prison officials said that they would try to get Ms. Chen Liyan released early.
Mr. Li was sentenced to eight years in prison because he practices Falun Dafa. He was detained in the Gangbei Prison, where he was brutally tortured. The guards handcuffed his hands to a pole and forced him to face the ground. They put very heavy shackles on his feet and tied his feet to two poles. One foot was tied at a higher position than the other. He was tortured this way for 28 days. When Mr. Li's hands and legs were untied from the poles, they did not expect him to still be alive. Mr. Li was also confined in a small cell of about nine square feet alone for more than a year. There is no window in the cell and only had a small door used for passing meals. He slept and relieved himself in the same cell.
Mr. Li Xiwang and his wife Ms. Chen Liyan were illegally arrested at around 10 a.m. on December 21, 2010, in front of their home by officers from the Dayingmen Police Station in the Hexi District. The couple was taken to the Hexi Detention Center. The police ransacked their home and factory, and confiscated their personal property. The police confiscated about 5,000 yuan and three cellphones that the couple was carrying. The police also confiscated their van. At the same time, the police stormed onto the fifteenth floor of the Sanyi Building in the Hexi District and confiscated about 500 yuan from Mr. Li’s 15-year-old son. Mr. Li's factory, which is located in Minquanmen, Hebei District, was also broken into, and the police confiscated two cell phones, three computers, two printers and other items.
Mr. Li's older brother was sentenced to ten years in prison for practicing Falun Gong, and is still being held in the Gangbei Prison in Tianjin. Mr. Li's family has no source of income, and life is very difficult. Mr. Li’s child and his mother-in-law are left uncared for.

(Clearwisdom.net) Starting in the middle of June 2011, and continuing up to the present, agents from the Sichuan Province 610 Office. including leaders Jia, Mao and Ou Zegao, along with the leader of the Political and Judiciary Committee, pressured agents around Sichuan to brainwash practitioners of Falun Gong and then file reports. Officers from Miyi County in Panzhihua City, Dazhou City, Guanghan City, Deyang City, Leshan City, Jiangyou City in Mianyang City, Nanchong City, as well as other places, have been arresting and trying to brainwash practitioners. According to incomplete reports from Clearwisdom.net, as of July 10, 2011, four hundred and four practitioners have been arrested. Most of them are being held at brainwashing centers.

Ms. Mao Xiuzhen (毛秀珍),70, was sentenced to three years.
Ms. Lei Xiaoqiong (雷小琼), 42, was sentenced to five years.
Ms. Liu Cuilan (刘翠兰) was sentenced to three years.
Mr.Wang Mingzhong (王明忠), was tried at at 2:30 p.m., on February 23, 2011.
Ms. Liu Bin (刘彬), 40 years old, was sentenced to three and a half years.
Ms. Zhong Shufeng (钟淑凤), 56 years old, and Ms. Gu Suhua (古素华), 58 years old, were each sentenced to three years. Eight people were sentenced to prison. The rest were arrested and taken to the Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center. In the brainwashing center, each practitioner was watched by two guards. One monitor was assigned by the person's employer, and the other was assigned by the local 610 Office. When a practitioner was transformed, the persecutor received a bonus award of 10,000 yuan.

Twenty three practitioners were arrested in Nanchong City: a practitioner whose name is Lu, Zhou Lanzhen (周兰珍), Zhang Linyue (张林悦), Wan Ruilan (万瑞兰), Chen Mingzhen (陈明珍), Wang Huiqing (汪惠清), Wang Maosheng (汪茂生), Yan Guifang (颜桂芳), Zhang Ya (张亚), Yi Xiaohong (易小红), Deng Yun (邓云), Deng Xinghua (邓新华), Deng Min (邓敏). Two people whose names are unknown, Wen Hui (文辉), Tang Xujun (唐旭军), Liu Bin (刘彬), Zhong Wenhui (钟文辉), Wan Jie (万杰), Huang Yeqiu (黄叶（燕）秋), Jin Huiling (敬慧玲) and Xu Xia (徐霞).
Thirty nine practitioners were arrested in Panzhihua City: Jiang Ruifei (蒋若霏), Xiong Lixiang (熊立香), Chen Zhongyu (陈忠玉), Le Hong (乐虹), Liu Tianfen (刘天芬), Xiong Guangrong (熊光荣), Yu Lan (余兰), Zhang Yuanxiu (张远秀), Li Guoqing (李国清), Liu Jingkun (刘静坤), Jiang Xianfeng (蒋贤凤), Wang Zhilian (王志连), a practitioner whose surnamed is Hou, Guo Huibin (郭会彬), Feng Shifen (冯世芬), Zhou Juzhong (周聚忠), Zhang Jiaxiu (张家秀), Huang Guangrong (黄光荣), Liu Dingfen (刘定分), Wang Yuanzhen (王元珍), Li Xueju (李学菊), Wang Zhenghui (王正会), Tu Wenfen (涂文芬), Li Fangzhi (黎方芝), Li Fangyuan (黎方远) , Li Fuliang (李福良), Fan Chaofen (范朝芬), eleven practitioners whose names are unknown from Miyi County, and Zhao Huimin (赵慧敏).
Seven practitioners were arrested from Liangshan Prefecture, including three from Huili County: Li Zefen (李泽芬), Zheng Zifang (郑子芳), Zhao Guowei (赵国伟); three from Xichang City: Hu Xiaozhong (胡孝忠), Zhang Yueli (张月莉), Shi Guohua (石国华). One practitioner from Jinyang County: Gong Wenyou (龚文友); and another three people: Chen Shide (沈士德), Li Fuchun (李富春), Chen Huansheng (陈焕生) from and unknown area.
Two practitioners were arrested in Bazhong City: Yan Yuming (鄢玉明) and Jiang Kaigui (蒋开贵).
Five practitioners were arrested in Guang'an City: Wang Xiaoqing (王晓青), Huang Zhihui (黄芝辉), Cai Zhengfang (蔡正芳), Zou Changliang (邹昌亮), and Zeng Xiangyou (曾祥友) in his seventies who was beaten. Wang Xiaoqing (王晓青)was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
Seven practitioners were arrested in Luzhou City: Liang Shuangquan (梁双全), Wang Huai (王怀), Tang Quanzhen (唐全珍), Wang Huai (王槐), Zhao Shengyun (赵生云), Yang Taizhen (杨太珍), Huang Deshu (黄德书).
Forty one practitioners were arrested in Mianyang City: Deng Chengkai (邓成开), Zhang Chunbao (张春宝), Yin Huajie (尹华杰), Feng Wei (冯伟), Liu Tao (柳涛 ), Yang Suyun (杨素云), Zhou Xiaohua (周晓华), Qu Yunshu (曲云淑), Zhang Yan (张燕), Liang Bizhen (梁碧珍), Liu Ping (刘萍), Jiang Wenping (蒋文平), Teng Hongbing (腾红兵), Zhang Qizhong (张启忠), Wei Chaohai (魏朝海), Du Zhijun (杜志俊), Wang Lianying (王莲英), Li Shuqin (李淑琴), Deng Guixian (邓闺贤), Wu Fenglei (吴凤磊), Xiao Shi feng (肖世凤), Zhong Shikai (钟世凯), Zhao Yuqun (赵玉群), Yin Juhua (银菊花) and He Deli (何德利). Ten people were arrested in Meishan City: Dai Zhiquan (代志权), Luo Libin (罗丽彬), Lu Cuirong (吕翠容), Ms. Dai, Li Zhongqin (李仲琴), Cao Chunhua (曹春花), Zhou Xiaoli (周小莉), He Tong (何彤), Xu Jianhua (徐建华), Li Qinyin (李沁殷).
Fifteen practitioners were arrested in Yibin City including: Zhang Jintao (张锦桃), Chief Engineer of Fir Coal Mine, Gong County, and Yao Huazhi (姚华智 ). In addition, at the beginning of June, thirteen practitioners from nine counties, plus the two practitioners listed above, for a total fifteen practitioners, were taken to the Yifei Senior Apartment Brainwashing Center.
Ten practitioners were arrested in Guangyuan City including: Chen Yong (陈勇), the driver of a man powered three wheel vehicle, Huang Qiong (黄琼), Xue Zhongyi (薛忠义), Zhu Chunlian (朱春莲), Zou Bin (邹斌) and four practitioners from Wangcang County.
Fourteen practitioners were arrested in Ziyang City: Gong Tiancai (龚天才), Xiang Xiuying (向秀英), Liu Sishui (刘似水), Liu Guoping (刘国萍), Li Zhonglin (李中林), Wang Suyu (王素余), Zhou Chengxiu (周成秀), a Falun Gong practitioner whose family name is Wei, Chen Bengao (陈本高), Chen Xinhua (陈信华), Yao Zhongjun (尧仲军), Wei Guozhen (魏国珍), Zhang Suqing (张素清) from Jianyang City.
Five practitioners were arrested in Zigong City including: Wu Dengming (吴登明), Zhang Xiaocheng (张孝成), two other practitioners whose names are unknown, and another practitioner whose family name is Yu.
Four practitioners were arrested in Ya'an City including: Gan Yulian (甘玉连), Zhou Fuping (周福萍), Gao Mengchun (高梦春) and Li Chaofeng (李朝凤).
It is widely know that the regime of Jiang Zemin persecuted Falun Gong. China, known as the land of the divine, has become a place where demons dominate peoples minds. There will be a time when fireworks will be set off and the noise of the fireworks will be everywhere to celebrate the death of Jiang Zemin. They will also signify that the evils of this persecution are being eliminated. The people who have participated in the persecution should think about the evil deeds they have committed and the legacy that they have left for their families. The persecutors include: the head of Sichuan Province 610 Office, whose family names are Jia and Mao; Ou Ze Gao, the leader of Sichuan Province Judiciary and Political Committee, Sun Jichang and Zeng Shengquan, leaders of Domestic Security Division and the police department. (Clearwisdom.net) When I was 24 years old, prior to beginning to practice Falun Gong, in addition to suffering from heart disease, I lost my left hand when using dynamite for killing fish. I sustained a head injury, too, and had lingering symptoms. I constantly felt dizzy. Once at work the hydraulic prop fell down and injured my back. After that, my back felt numb and was painfully swollen for many years.
Fortunately I began practicing Falun Gong in 1995. Soon after, my illnesses disappeared, and my temper was getting better. My wife also started practicing. Our whole family benefited from Falun Gong.
After the nationwide persecution began on July 20, 1999, I was illegally arrested numerous times because I insisted on having my belief. My home was also ransacked many times. I was sent to a brainwashing facility, put into a forced labor camp three times, and fired from work.
The following is some of the persecution I have experienced in the last 12 years.
I went to Beijing with another practitioner to appeal to the government soon after the persecution began. Upon my return, my employers, the Meihekou Mining Bureau, subjected me to a "reform" session. They attempted to force me to write “three statements.” I refused. While Security Section head Qi Guifang from the Meihekou Mining Bureau was on his way to take me to the Meihekou City Domestic Security Division's office, I fled. My wife and decided to leave home to avoid further persecution. We became destitute and homeless, and had to leave our two children alone at home.
Three months later I was fired from work and we had no income. Our son had to stop attending middle school.
Detained and Abused at the Meihekou City Detention Center
Around September 1999, another practitioner and I again went to Beijing to appeal. Agents from the Beijing Police Department, officer Qi Guifang from the Meihekou City Domestic Security Division, and Meihekou Mining Police Department officials dispatched five police cars--about a dozen people-- to apprehend us. They suddenly broke into my home around 9:00 p.m. They handcuffed my wife and me and covertly detained us in a hotel in Beijing. The next day we were sent to the Meihekou City Police Department.
We spent three months in a detention center. The guards instigated two criminals beat me. I lost one of my front teeth from the beating, and my body was bruised all over. They also made us perform forced labor. We had to start at 4:00 a.m. and work until 11:00 p.m. There was no rest time. We would be beaten if we could finish the quota. At night it was hard to get to sleep. As soon as I fell asleep, two prisoners who were monitoring me would beat me to wake me up. They would kick my head, back, and my feet very hard.
Torture re-enactment: Brutally beaten
I was tortured so much that I had a mental breakdown and became withdrawn. My family paid Heishan Township Police Station head Dong Haifang 1,500 yuan to release me.
Abuse at the Tonghua City Forced Labor Camp
On November 15, 2000, Heishan Township Security head Jia Dianying led several people, including police chief Liu, to break into my home again. I was arrested and they took me to the Meihekou City Detention Center. About three months later I was sent to the Tonghua Forced Labor Camp in Jilin Province and sentenced to a one-year labor term.
Every morning I had to sit in a classroom for brainwashing. I had to sit motionless on a small narrow wooden stool and listen to people slander and bring up false charges against Falun Gong and its founder Master Li. We would be brutally beaten if we moved a little. We had to sit until 11:30 a.m. every day.
After lunch we had to return to the “classroom” and were forced to watch TV programs slandering Falun Gong. We had to start forced labor at 2:00 p.m. Often we were beaten, and in one instance my calves were severely injured.
Abused at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City
On November 24, 2003, agents from the Meihekou Domestic Security Division and Panshi County Domestic Security Division arrived in four police cars at my home. They confiscated more than twenty Falun Dafa books, eighteen videotapes, and several hundred yuan cash. They also searched several of my relatives. They arrested my wife, my children and me. We were detained in the Meihekou Domestic Security Division. My wife and I were transferred to the Meihekou Detention Center that night.
Seven months later, police officers Zhao Qiang and Ji Jun sent me to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun. I was sentenced to forced labor for two and a half years. While there, they poured cold water on me in the winter. I had to sit motionless on a small plastic stool to do forced labor. If I moved a little, I would be beaten with a stick, leather belt, or electric baton. We started at 7:00 a.m. and finished at 6:00 p.m. We would be beaten whenever we slowed down a little. I was released in May 2005.
Going from Place to Place, Destitute
Following my release I went to work at the Heishan Glue Factory. I worked harder than most people but for less salary. During this time, Meihekou City Domestic Security Division agents harassed me on numerous occasions.
On April 28, 2008, Heishan Town Security head Guo Xiangzi led Meihekou Police Department deputy head Xu Xiangren, together with eight officers from the Heishan Township Police Station, to arrest me at home. Their beatings made me lose some front teeth, and several other teeth were loose. They confiscated my Falun Dafa books and held me at the Meihekou Detention Center. One month later I was sent to the Tonghua Forced Labor Camp, but the officials there refused to admit me. I was then held at the Meihekou Detention Center. One month later I was sentenced to forced labor for one year.
Following my release in August 2008, local security head Guo Xiangzi and another person took turns to monitor me around the clock. The Heishan Glue Factory also fired me.
Once again I became destitute and homeless. I got a low-paying job in a mountain area in April 2009. Several months later I went to another province and have lived there since. My destitute and homeless life has barely allowed me to make a living.
I hereby appeal to kind people with a sense of justice to pay attention to the Falun Gong practitioners who are suffering from persecution right now.

The police ransacked Ms. Wang's home, confiscated her personal collection of Falun Gong books, and took away her car. Mr. Zhang, on the other hand, was startled by the police actions and suffered a stroke. At the time of this writing, Mr. Zhang remains in ICU at Mengyin Hospital and Ms. Wang's whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Wang Jixiu, an Elementary School Teacher, Cured of Herniated Lumbar Disc After Practicing Falun Gong
Ms. Wang Jixiu used to be an elementary school teacher in Liuzhuanglian, Taoxu Town, Mengyin County, Shandong Province [before she was removed from her post for practicing Falun Gong]. She is about 54 years old. Before she practiced Falun Gong, she used to suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, lumbar disc hernia in the neck and lower back, hyperostosis, arrhythmia and gastritis. When she was diagnosed with lumbar disc hernia in 1995, she became bed-ridden and dependent on others. Her husband was working in a different city at the time, so she was left to the care of her elderly mother-in-law. Her family could do nothing but watch her suffer in agony.
In 1996 Ms. Wang started to practice Falun Gong, and soon she became free of illness. She looked like a completely different person, with a fair and healthy complexion and having returned to her normal weight. Her health transformation brought joy to the entire family, who was now relieved. Joy and laughter returned to her family.
Arrest, Torture, and Extortion After Appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing
As someone who has been practicing Falun Gong and benefiting from its cultivation practice, Ms. Wang Jixiu decided to travel to Beijing and exercise her constitutional right to share important facts about Falun Gong and to reverse the false accusations against Falun Gong and Falun Gong's founder. On January 13, 2001, Ms. Wang boarded a train to Beijing.
However, the suppression against Falun Gong reached its peak in 2001. There was no opportunity [at the State Appeals Office] for Falun Gong practitioners to have their voice heard by the Chinese Communist government. Therefore, practitioners went to Tiananmen Square, the most open space in Beijing, and shouted out "Falun Gong is good", hoping to be heard. Unfortunately police officers in uniform and civilian clothing roamed Tiananmen Square and arrested everyone who spoke for Falun Gong immediately. Ms. Wang Jixiu was arrested, as well. On January 14, she was arrested at Tiananmen Square and incarcerated without food or water. She was later transferred to Mengyin by Mengyin police and incarcerated again by the Mengyin County 610 Office, where she was tortured.
After she was incarcerated, Lei Yancheng (male) had her handcuffed with one leg between her arms and then put foot shackles on her. She was unable to stand up straight or sit. She was forced to keep bending over for long periods of time. Sometimes 610 Office agents would even add verbal insults and beatings to the torture. One day a torturer shouted at her, "Wang Jixiu, look, who has come?" When Ms. Wang did not respond, the torturer kicked her in the head. Later on, Fang Simin from the 610 Office denied her sleep and the right to use the bathroom. Ms. Wang would be forced to stand more than 10 hours a day. After a few days, Ms. Wang started to have diarrhea and asked to use the bathroom, but they ignored her plea. One torturer even made sarcastic remarks, "Are you practicing the principle of forbearance? Why don't you forbear?" She had no choice but to relieve herself in her pants. One could imagine how she felt afterwards in the middle of January in northeastern China. Because she was denied the right to use the bathroom, Ms. Wang decided to go on a hunger strike. In response, Xing Xianying, the deputy chairman of the 610 Office, and Fang Simin accused her of "not cooperating" and escalated the level of torture. For example, Xing Xianying repeatedly slapped Ms. Wang's face and Fang Ximing organized a group of people to punch and kick her. They kicked her back and forth in the room. Her head repeatedly hit the concrete wall. In the next few days, she was unable to move at all.
Around February 3, the 610 Office finally summoned a physician to check on her. The physician declared that she was in critical condition. The 610 Office did not want her to die in their custody, so they notified Ms. Wang's family to pick her up.
After she returned home, Ms. Wang remained in critical condition, but the 610 Office did not leave her alone. The forced brainwashing facility operated by the 610 Office extorted 5,000 yuan from her family as "bail". Next Mo Guangli, former Deputy Mayor of Taoxu Town, demanded 15,000 yuan as the fine for going to Beijing and appealing for Falun Gong. Ms. Wang's family could not afford to pay. Her husband produced a statement that showed the amount of her teacher's salary that Taoxu Town had not paid. But Mo Guangli insisted that they pay the "fine". Her husband had no choice but to borrow money from his old classmates and friends to pay. However, the 610 Office did not leave her alone. With threats to fire her husband from his job and send him to a forced labor camp, they made Ms. Wang go to a forced brainwashing facility in an attempt to her make her renounce Falun Gong.
Ms. Wang Leaves Town after Being Tortured in the Forced Brainwashing Facility
Ms. Wang gave in to the threat and went to the forced brainwashing facility operated by the Mengyin County 610 Office. She faced psychological torments worse than physical ones. Every day she was forced to watch video programs slandering Falun Gong. Afterwards she was made to insult and renounce Falun Gong in writing. She gave in to the pressure and transcribed in tears an article renouncing Falun Gong. After that, Yan Leicheng and Fang Simin made her an aide in brainwashing other Falun Gong practitioners.
After 40 days Ms. Wang was at the brink of breaking down. But Lei Yancheng and Fang Simin still would not leave her alone. She could not face the psychological torture any longer. She decided to flee and go into hiding.
She returned home after hiding at a friend's home for two weeks, but she was spotted and reported to the police. She was arrested and sent to the forced brainwashing facility once again. A group of people led by Fang Simin forced her left hand to the ground to make her squat on a pile of ashes, while they punched and kicked her in attempts to make her tell them whose home she had been hiding in. She was forced to squat on top of a pile of ashes in the middle of the winter throughout the night. She fled the next night.
Over the following four years, her teacher's salary was suspended by the 610 Office. Even the elementary school principals in Liuzhuanglian faced discipline because she was a schoolteacher.
Tortured Again at the End of 2008
At around 11:30 a.m. on December 26, 2008, Ms. Wang Jixiu was just finishing visiting her cousin, Ms. Zhang Rongqiu, 58, a retired employee from Mengyin Credit Union. She was about to leave her cousin's place when Wang Wei, a policeman from Mengyin County Public Security Bureau, showed up with about a dozen men and arrested her and her cousin without an arrest warrant. They were taken to Mengyin Police Station. They took her purse and found her house key. The police entered her home while no one was home and confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, a photograph of Falun Gong's founder, an electronic book reader that she used to study Falun Gong books, and a MP3 player with Falun Gong exercise music on it.
That afternoon, Zhang Yong, the chairman of the Mengyin County 610 Office, and Du Zhongtai, a police officer from Mengyin Police Station, subjected Ms. Wang and her cousin to interrogation. Ms. Wang refused to give them any information. Instead, she shared with them her personal experiences of practicing Falun Gong and how much she has benefited from the practice. That night she was locked behind a metal gate inside an office without any heating. Ms. Wang was experiencing a heavy flow of menstrual bleeding. In fact, she had been bleeding for about seven days. She had to change her sanitary napkins nine times that night. Ms. Wang was becoming increasingly weak after heavy menstrual bleeding for seven days and staying overnight in a room without heat. But the next day she was transferred to a forced brainwashing facility operated by the Linyi 610 Office.
The staff of the facility took turns trying to brainwash her. Ms. Wang remained steadfast in her faith. She simply shared her personal experiences of practicing Falun Gong with compassion in the hope of saving them from the CCP's lies. But she was becoming extremely frail after four days of torture, diarrhea, and heavy menstrual bleeding. She could not sleep. Her heart rate became faster. She insisted on being released and told them that they would be fully responsible if something should happen to her. The Linyi 610 Office did not want to face any consequences, so they asked the Mengyin County 610 Office to pick her up. On December 31, 2008, Fang Simin and Ms. Wang's husband picked her up. She was finally released.
Before she left Linyi, the head of the brainwashing facility insisted, "Remember, we did not beat you or curse you." These words revealed their fear.
When Ms. Wang Jixiu was arrested, she had 24 yuan and about 8 Falun Gong amulets in her purse, but they were never returned after Wang Wei, a police officer from Mengyin County Public Security Bureau, took her purse. Before she was released, Ms. Wang's husband was forced to pay 2,000 yuan.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Fu Chengyou, from Bayuquan District, Yingkou, Liaoning Province, has been homeless for nine years in order to avoid further persecution. On June 28, 2011, officers Zhang Ji and Liu Sen from the Liaoning Domestic Security Division harassed Mr. Fu's son at his house and demanded he tell them his father's whereabouts. After Mr. Fu's family refused to tell them anything, the police began to monitor his family's daily activities.
Mr. Fu was arrested by officers from the Nantai Police Department in Haicheng City, Liaoning Province on July 2, 2002. He was subsequently detained at the Haicheng Detention Center, where he was persecuted severely. Due to the severe abuse, his body became so swollen that he couldn't wear his clothes or shoes. He was sent to the Haicheng City Hospital for comprehensive examinations and then taken back to the detention center. The doctors found that his heart, liver, spleen, lungs and kidneys had all lost the ability to function normally, and they concluded that he was dying.
Later on, agents from the 610 Office and the judicial systems in Anshan and Haicheng City all came to visit Mr. Fu at the detention center to confirm his poor health condition. To avoid being held responsible for his possible death, they contacted his family members and quickly released him. Mr. Fu stayed at home for 18 days. After doing the Falun Gong exercises and reading the books, his health condition rapidly improved and he could even walk up and down the stairs.
However, on November 8, 2002 the head of Bayuquan Domestic Security Division Wang Kui and police officer Zhang Lu led a group of police to surround Mr. Fu's house. They planned to ransack his house. Mr. Fu told Wang Kui that he almost died under the persecution at the Haicheng Detention Center and explained that, because he was dying, he was released. Seeing that his legs were still swollen very badly, the police were reluctant to arrest him. Instead, they took away his wife, son and grandson. After they left, the police changed their minds and went back to arrest Mr. Fu. To avoid further persecution, Mr. Fu left home and started the life of being homeless and wandering about for about nine years.
The political head of Bayuquan Domestic Security Division Hui Huaiqi led a young police officer to the Changjiang Road Elementary School on July 15, 2011, looking for Mr. Fu's nine-year-old granddaughter. The deputy headmaster and class teacher Xu Qian helped the police find the child. After school was out, the young officer deliberately ran after the child. The child was terrified and kept running. Even after she had been home a long time, she was still very frightened.
The police went to Mr. Fu's second son's house around July 15, 2011. Mr. Fu's 9-year-old grandson was home alone when a plainclothes officer knocked at the door. He was so frightened that he ran out of the house and stayed outside for four hours. He didn't go back home until his mother came back from work.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Lianjun, a 36-year-old Qinghua University alumnus, is from Taipingdi Township, the Songshan District, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. He has been illegally detained in Chifeng Prison for eight years. His term was up in January 2011, but prison officials did not release him. The family received notification from the prison that Mr. Zhang could return home on July 18, but the captors then changed it to July 25.
Mr. Zhang entered the Civil Engineering Department at Qinghua University in 1995. He was fortunate to find Falun Dafa and was moved by the profound principles of the universe - Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He began cultivation practice.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong was launched by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in 1999, Mr. Zhang has been arrested multiple times. The regime spies often monitored him.
Arrested and Tortured in Beijing
Haidian District officers arrested Mr. Zhang on January 23, 2003 and took him to detention, where he went on a persecution protest hunger strike and was transferred to the Beijing Police Department Hospital in the basement. The patients there were all from different detention centers in Beijing. Hospital staff handcuffed the patients to their beds almost every day. Sometimes they tortured the patients while “treating” them.
Torture re-enactment: Handcuffing to the bed for a long time
As soon as the patients enter the hospital, the staff put them in heavy shackles weighing over 5 kg-- one side on one foot, the other side chained to a bed. The length of the shackle doesn't allow them to leave the bed area. The staff members only open the shackle for five minutes when patients wash their face in the morning. They are then shackled to their beds for the rest of the day.
Brutal Torture
The persecution in this hospital is even more evil. Practitioners who refuse to be treated are handcuffed and shackled and cannot move. Due to the long-term shackling, some practitioners lose control of their hands. The hospital staff tortures practitioners at will. Whenever practitioners express different opinions they are shackled. The staff often says to practitioners, “It is not a big deal, even if you die.”
The guards once mentioned while chatting that they once put a person (not sure if he was a practitioner or not) who was on a hunger strike in one of the drawers in the morgue. They only opened the drawer when it was time to force-feed him daily. The rest of the time they just locked him up in the drawer. After one month that person suffered a mental collapse.
The So-called “Treatment” Aggravated the Persecution
When they force-feed, they intentionally poke around with the tube to make the patients suffer. When they give injections, they also poke the needles in multiple times. Some illnesses that can be cured by conventional treatments became an ordeal as patients were forced to have surgery. Practitioners who were on a hunger strike for several months were returned to the detention center as soon as they started eating. The staff did not give practitioners any time to recover.

Mr. Zhang had been on hunger strike in that environment and was near death. In August 2003, the family received a phone call from the Beijing Domestic Security Division. They said that Mr. Zhang had a severe head injury and needed to have surgery. They ordered the family to go to the hospital to sign the paperwork.
When the family got there, the staff said the surgery was done successfully. In fact, the so-called surgery damaged his brain, and he ended up with incontinence. He was extremely thin and became bedridden. He could not stand up, could not sit and could not turn over on his own in bed. He had a urethral catheter inserted and was in a trance all day, every day.
Later on Mr. Zhang was carried to the court after having been on hunger strike for one year. He was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment. The evildoers transferred him to Chifeng Prison in Inner Mongolia in May 2004. According to some practitioners, when he first got there he was bedridden and was fed by inmates. He could only have a few bites at each meal. He was naked and incontinent.
Mr. Zhang continued on the hunger strike to protest the persecution. Prison deputy head Qu Baofeng transferred him to the prison hospital ten days later. His parents visited him there and saw him not being able to move in bed.
Within the past several years his parents were sometimes allowed to visit him, and sometimes not. This year, they were able to visit him several more times. Guards always escorted them to Mr. Zhang's bed. Mr. Zhang rarely had any reaction. Sometimes he opened his eyes. Sometimes his lips moved, but he could not be heard. Just like that, he kept on with the hunger strike to protest. It has been seven years and one month. In January 2011 his eight-year term was up, but the prison refused to release him, as stated above.

(Clearwisdom.net) The wholehearted dedication of practitioners to improving our one body, along with Master’s recent Fa teaching in Washington, D.C., inspired me to write this sharing. I hope it may be helpful to fellow practitioners.
When I began my cultivation three years ago, veteran practitioners around me often talked about how they study one, two, or even three lectures from Zhuan Falun daily. I felt that since I began cultivating so late, I should try to keep up with them. Master also indicated in His Fa teaching in Guangzhou that one’s level is raised each time one reads Zhuan Falun. (my paraphrasing of the English audio translation). Due to my low level of understanding at the time, I thought that I should get through the book more times as quickly as possible.
Therefore, I tried to read the book fairly fast. At the beginning, I read with my heart, really trying to understand the principles involved. After a while, however, it felt more like a task. Incorrect thoughts often popped up in my mind, such as “I already know this,” or “This is so complicated, I may never understand it,” or “This doesn’t apply to me.” However, I just ignored these unrighteous thoughts and continued reading, pursuing finishing a certain number of pages a day.
After a while, my cultivation state deteriorated and I started to skip Fa study altogether on some days. For a while, I also stopped going to the local group Fa study each week, with the excuse that I could not comprehend Master's Fa lectures when reading in a group as well as I could when reading on my own. There were other tribulations involved at the time as well, which further discouraged me, as I could not pass them well. I wasted a lot of precious time by being in this state, although I still had the heart to cultivate and help Master save sentient beings.
After I became clearheaded and determined to cultivate properly and diligently again, Master helped me gain many new insights and understandings in a very short period of time. I can never repay Master for His boundless compassion and benevolent salvation!
One of the biggest realizations that I gained was regarding Fa study. I became determined to study the Fa truly well. I told myself that even if I read just one sentence or one paragraph with a pure heart and a clean mind, that would be much more beneficial than reading a full lecture superficially.
Master said that each word in Zhuan Falun has the image of His Fashen. I understood that it is most disrespectful to rush through some characters or words. Each character in the book represents the highest Fa and must be given the highest level of respect. Each word has the ability to help true cultivators improve and rise up, and each character is more precious than we could possibly imagine.
I then started reading the Fa in a different way—really paying attention to each word and giving each word my most sincere focus and respect. I read as much as I could with a pure heart and a clear mind, and actively negated any interfering thoughts that popped up. At first, these thoughts constantly interfered with my study. Sometimes it took me an hour just to read two or three sentences with a pure heart and a clear mind! After that, I felt mentally exhausted—like I had just fought a big battle—and had to take a break.
Gradually, the interfering thoughts appeared less, and I could study more. In the process, my overall cultivation state improved and I could do the three things much better and more diligently than before. Master was then able to arrange several very precious opportunities to encourage me further. I am so thankful to Master!
This process also provided me with the opportunity to increase forbearance, as well as to eliminate impatience, pursuit, and other bad notions, habits, and attachments, such as competitive mentality, insecurity, pride in being highly educated and “smart” on a human level, analyzing Fa concepts from an academic perspective, etc. I’ve realized that studying the Fa with a pure, clean, and calm mind is only possible when the mind is not polluted with any of these notions and attachments. Therefore, one must actively negate all interfering thoughts and truly focus when studying the Fa. Otherwise, Fa study may not be effective.
I still have a long way to go to improve my Fa study and cultivation. Sometimes even after studying for two hours, I don’t finish one lecture. But I don’t give up. I just continue to negate the interfering thoughts and reread the sentences when needed in order to make sure that I really read each word with a pure, clean, and calm mind. I then feel that I am truly making progress, and my cultivation state, xinxing, and enlightenment quality continue to steadily improve as a result.
Practitioners in our state have recently been talking about how to improve as one body. I think if we could study the Fa with a pure heart and a focused and calm mind, then we could all improve together very quickly.
When reading the lectures in our large Fa-study group, some practitioners sometimes inadvertently skip lines of text without noticing it, which indicates that they may not be paying attention to the meaning of what they are reading. Other practitioners often appear too timid to correct them; I was one of these practitioners in the past. However, I’ve come to realize that it is actually selfish to be too timid to gently and compassionately help a fellow practitioner improve in Fa study or in other serious matters. My understanding is that we must help each other notice and overcome shortcomings, as this is how we can truly help each other improve, raise our cultivation levels, and grow to become a better one body. Of course, we should always help each other with compassion—and from a pure and noble mindset of truly wanting to help each other improve.
Also, we should be considerate of other practitioners’ reading abilities when studying the Fa together. For example, many Western practitioners in our large Fa-study group come from different countries, so English is their second language. Nevertheless, they try their best to read the Fa in English, so as not to inconvenience the rest of the group. When others read too fast, these practitioners struggle to keep up. Could reading just a little bit slower, for the sake of really being considerate toward each other, improve our comprehension, focus, and unity as one body?
During the process of improving my Fa study, I’ve come to experience something I had not experienced before: the pure joy of being a Dafa cultivator and of having the opportunity to study the Fa. It can't be compared to any ordinary human joy. This joy comes from deep within my heart, and I feel that it comes from the very depths of my being—from my original, true self. It feels like the purest gold that shines more brilliantly that any words could ever describe.
I have finally truly realized that regardless of any superficial “reality” at the human level (i.e., ordinary day job or family tribulations, conflicts, worry about having money to pay rent, loss of personal interests, etc.) , I am truly the most fortunate being in the world. I have Master, who looks after me, who has bestowed on me this incredibly precious opportunity to be a Fa-rectification Dafa disciple!
Let’s not miss this most precious opportunity of all time! Let’s eliminate our human notions and attachments, help each other improve, complete our grand missions, and return home with Master!

(Clearwisdom.net) Hello, I would like to share about my recent experiences.
My wife, who was six months pregnant, began hemorrhaging very badly one night and had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency Cesarean section to deliver the baby early. During the whole process I tried to send righteous thoughts, but it was like my head was blocked up and I couldn't break through it. When the situation was critical, I asked Master to help them both and the situation changed dramatically. It was as if Master had my whole family in the palms of his hands.
Since then, I have been looking within to find the causes for such a traumatic event to happen to a practitioner and his family. I can see many shortcomings on my behalf, which led to my loopholes being exploited. It has also taken me away from working on a major national project.
The first thing I could see was my attachment to lust. I had for a long time been giving in to the temptation to look at filthy things on the Internet. I know this did not come from my true self, but I always felt powerless to resist it. The last time I did this I heard a voice from another dimension commenting with disdain about how my wife was pregnant, but I was still disgracing her and myself by doing this. I believe that part of this problem was due to my failing to take the issue seriously enough and not letting go of my attachment sooner.
My second realization came in recognizing my attachment to self and having a comfortable, enjoyable life. My cultivation state had steadily degraded over the past few years, and my righteous thoughts had seemed to become weaker. As my desire for sleep and comfort increased, so had my resolve decreased accordingly. The current situation forced me to abandon these notions to a large extent, although I am still struggling to reduce my sleep. I was becoming immersed in self-importance and my own gains in life, rather than living selflessly and supporting my wife and family.
The third is my lack of faith in Master and the Fa. My thoughts are almost always negative these days. Master talks in his latest lecture about thoughts and substances attaching themselves to practitioners, and this is something I have felt over the past few years. This has led me to think that every situation will turn out negatively, and thus give the old forces more power than they actually have. I can now see that these thoughts don't belong to me and can be eliminated. I have begun trying to strengthen my righteous thoughts and clear out these substances.
Fourth, I realized that I lacked good quality Fa study. Although I had begun to really work on my concentration during Fa study, the length of my Fa study was not sufficient, with maybe only 30-45 minutes of reading each day. I know this is not nearly enough and I must break through the attachments of sleep and comfort to read more.
I also recognize my lack of sending righteous thoughts at the set times as a problem. I would like to state up front that I have never maintained a good routine of doing the early morning righteous thoughts, and over the last three years, I have slacked off on the other three set times as well. I can see that I treat it as a chore, as something that I have to do, not as something that I want to do. Even if I treat it as something I want to do, I skip it if I am doing something interesting and that I enjoy. This shows I still have too much attachment to the pursuits and enjoyments of everyday people. I know that if I can resolve to improve this, my situation will improve.
Another challenge in my cultivation is reflected in my lack of practicing the exercises. I have fallen into a bad way, only doing the exercises at the weekly class. I can feel a large amount of thought karma blocking me, and I need to break through this, as well as break through the attachment to comfort. The feeling of doing the exercises and feeling truly in the Fa is a wonderful feeling and I know I can break through these factors. As a result of not exercising, my body gets tired, leading me to want more sleep.
Yet another challenge has been my not holding myself to a practitioner's standard and recognizing the illusory nature of this world. I have noticed this especially in the hospital when I understand that the things the doctors say are only a manifestation of the Fa at this level, and the outcome of events is dictated by Master. This took me a few days to understand, and initially I found myself listening to everything they said and believing it. I now understand more and more that Master is actually calling the shots, and that Master will use whatever means necessary to save people.
All in all, I feel that I have fallen behind in Fa rectification, and have much improvement to make. I hope to catch up soon and want to take this opportunity to expose my shortcomings so they will be less of an obstacle for me, and help others who might have experienced similar problems in their cultivation.

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm a 66-year old retired worker and I obtained the Fa in April 1996. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999, I was illegally detained and severely tortured. My husband died as a result of the persecution and some of my other family members are being held in forced labor camps to this day. With Master's ever-present care, I earnestly do the three things and have never thought of slacking off on the path of Fa-rectification cultivation.
Master Helps Me When My Thoughts are Righteous
On the morning of July 21, after I did my laundry, I sat down to study the Fa. While I was adjusting the chair, all of a sudden, I fell to the ground. It felt like my back was broken and my internal organs were tumbling about inside me. My first thought was, “How come? Then I began to send righteous thoughts and ask for Master's help. I have so many things to do. So many sentient beings are waiting for me to save. Get up! I must get up and go spread the word of truth!”
Right then, I felt a warm current flowing through my body. It was quite soothing, so I slowly stood up. I knew it was Master protecting me! I am 5'7 in height and weigh 165 pounds, either my back or legs could have been broken had Master not helped me. As I live by myself, Master has supported me on many occasions. I had Master worried about me again this time, so I thought to independently shoulder more of the burden this time. I sent forth righteous thoughts with great pain and was very sweaty. In the meantime, I calmed myself and looked inward. I realized my own issues and found many human notions that were deeply hidden.
Firstly, I have the mentality of showing off. I had been bragging about the number of people I helped quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) every day. Only then did I connect more personally to the Fa passage as follows:
“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” Zhuan Falun
I only need to have such a wish, listen to Master's words unconditionally and act according to Master’s requirements. In other respects, it is Master who saves them. Recently I have been doing well in helping people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Still I need to progress in comprehending the Fa, as I'm still far from Master's requirement.
Secondly, I have been too focused on completing external tasks, and sometimes 'study' the Fa in name only. I have stagnated in comprehending the Fa at deeper levels, forestalling the possibility of growing more upright, pure and noble.
Lastly, I have thrown my weight around at times – telling others how to do Dafa things. I was led by limited, human thinking. I have been busy doing things but the results have not been good. Especially with truth clarification, I asked other practitioners to learn from me and do it my way. Fellow practitioners did not follow, but took the Fa as the teacher and went about the task rationally. The root of my problem is that I did not study the Fa well and let a mentality of showing off get the best of me.
When I realized that, I felt a sense of relief. I did the exercises on the morning of July 23, two days after the accident. After sending forth righteous thoughts, I swallowed my pain and went downstairs. I recalled what Master said in (Zhuan Falun),
“When it’s difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it’s impossible to do, you can do it." and “If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: 'After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead!'”
Then I was able to walk with ease. Everything went back to normal!
After the publishing of Master's new lecture “Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa”, I found the clear answer. In order to harmonize with what Master wants, save more sentient beings, and get twice the results with half the effort, Dafa disciples must study the Fa well.
Helping Ten People to Withdraw from the CCP in Half a Day
As I progressed on the Fa, success came naturally as people quit the CCP. I went out to clarify the truth after the rain stopped in the afternoon. On the way to the village, just a few houses from my destination, a man waved incessantly asking me to stop. So I pulled up a stool and sat down. I talked about the recent natural disasters, the persecution of Falun Gong and the historic trend of quitting the CCP. I became close to him as we chatted along. Then I found out that he was a retired worker from my workplace. He asked me to help him quit the CCP.
I left his house and met an old man. I asked him, “Do you know Falun Dafa is good?” He agreed, so I told him about quitting the CCP. He went into the room and took out the certificate of Party member. He showed me his certificate eagerly to prove that he is a Party member and he wanted to withdraw from it. I said that there is no need to check and it would be voided once he made the statement to quit. I told him to remember “Falun Dafa is great! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great!” and it will ensure his safety. He was filled with joy and the expression in his eyes was very sincere. He asked me to help him quit with his real name.
At a road crossing, I met two Party members. I clarified the truth to them and they nodded their heads. They told me their surnames and I helped them quit with assumed names. These things happened within half an hour and 100 meters in distance. However, they might have waited for this for many lifetimes. Because of Master's laborious arrangement, they are saved by Dafa today.
On my way home, there was a big yard by the road and lots of people were there. I said to myself, “Go in there and save these people!” A woman asked me what I wanted. I told her that I saw so many people and wanted to watch the fun. I sat down and told them about the growth of Dafa and the persecution from the CCP. They introduced themselves happily: three Party members, one Youth League member and one communist young pioneer. I helped them quit with assumed names. The rest had never joined any of the CCP's organizations. A woman picked a cucumber for me, washed it and gave it to me. She said, “Take it. It is hot today and it will cool you down.”
After I got home, I looked back on the afternoon's experience helping ten people to withdraw from the CCP. With gratitude, tears flowed from my eyes. I thanked Master for laying the groundwork and helping me to find the people with predestined relationships. Thanks to Master for giving me this golden and sacred opportunity.
(Clearwisdom.net) I was detained at the Zhuhai Second Detention Center during 2001 and 2002, where I was subjected to the torture known as "riding the airplane". My limbs were cuffed on a narrow cross and I couldn't move. Sometimes the police erected the cross, so that I was hanging on the cross. Sometimes to intensify the torture and increase my suffering, they swayed and shook the cross violently. Several months later, when some people came to inspect the detention center, in order to cover up the persecution and the torture, officers from Zhuhai Second Detention Center burned this torture instrument. They told me that I was the last person to “ride an airplane”.
Again and again, during the battle with the evil, I clarified the truth to the police with wisdom granted by Master. In the end, every time they interrogated me, they had to find different police officers to ask my name, address, workplace and the practitioners I had contact with. After I clarified the truth to them and explained the Fa's principles, they fell silent and eventually came to respect Dafa.
One time they had an especially vicious policeman talk to me. As soon as he entered the room, he threatened me very loudly, slapped the table and yelled, “If you don't tell us your personal information and true identity, you will never be released.” Upon hearing his words, I also stood up and slapped the table, “All the police officers that have talked to me were very polite and rational. At least they had some good basic characteristics and they knew how to be respectful of other people. But you don't even know how to talk to people. We practitioners are good people. Jiang's regime persecutes Dafa because of his jealousy. He is the worst person and sinner in history. Do you also want to be the same as him?” After I finished, the police officer said quietly, “All right, let's sit down and talk”.
I sat down and began to clarify the truth about Dafa to him. I said, “Only a river separates Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao. In Hong Kong, practicing Falun Gong is legal; but cross the river on mainland China's soil, such a good practice has been banned. Are the people in Hong Kong and Macao so foolish that they can't tell whether Falun Gong is good or not? Actually not only in Hong Kong and Macao, people from over one hundred countries practice Falun Gong. So many educated overseas people practice Falun Gong, isn't it obvious that something is wrong when Jiang's regime persecutes practitioners? It's obvious that something is wrong in China, and once you go to Hong Kong you'll figure it out. How can you be deceived by Jiang so easily?” He was shocked to hear my words and it took a long time before he regained his composure.
I don't remember how many police officers they sent to interrogate me, but after I clarified the truth to them, they gained respect for Dafa and for practitioners' actions. A senior police officer once said to me sincerely, “I know you are very good people. I've met practitioners from Tsinghua University, and I was impressed by their talents, intelligence and upright character. You are great people.” He also told me the fact that I was able to endure such harsh torture without compromising for such a long time was amazing to them. I told him that it's quite common among Dafa practitioners, because we all have firm belief in Dafa which can't be shaken by any physical detention or sentencing to forced labor camps. In the end, this police officer sighed deeply and said, “You should get out of here as soon as possible. Hell is here. If you get out, go overseas.”
While I was in the detention center, the police officers forced me to do hard, manual labor. I was starved all the time. During meal times, I stayed in front of the food waste bucket and ate the inmates' leftover rice. While I did the forced labor, I recited Master's Fa, “Did you know that in order to save you the Buddha once begged for food among everyday people?” (“True Cultivation”, Essentials for Further Advancement) Sometimes I sang “Pudu” or “Jishi” to myself. I sent forth righteous thoughts constantly throughout the day. Even when I was sleeping, I asked Master to strengthen me so that all of my bodies in other dimensions could send strong forth righteous thoughts non-stop.
One day when I was working, Master gave me a hint and, from the Fa, I enlightened that the fundamental reason for the persecution was because of the characteristic of the old universe. So when I sent forth righteous thoughts, I added this thought: Negate all the old universe's characteristics. Later on, when I studied Master's new lectures at the end of 2002 after I was released, I found that Master had talked about related principles. I understood that as long as we take the Fa as our teacher, Master will reveal the principles and the infinite power of the Fa, even under the harshest environment. Everything will undergo incredible changes.
Although the evildoers used all kinds of methods to persecute me, I still escaped from the detention center with Master's help. After one year of detention, I was released. When I left, most of the detainees I had contact with understood the truth about Dafa.
