Announcement: Fei Tian Academy of the Arts Invites Applications to Its Music Program

This round of applications is specifically meant to prepare talent for Shen Yun Performing Arts. Those wishing to be considered must apply, and should note the following requirements:

  • Music skills at a professional or near professional level (amateurs should be at level 8-9 or above)
  • Good physical health
  • Age requirements are flexible based on professional needs
  • Falun Dafa practitioners or applicants from families of practitioners are preferred; those who plan to become Dafa practitioners are accepted as well
We are seeking performers proficient in the following instruments:
  • Violin
  • Cello
  • Viola
  • Trombone
  • French horn
  • Trumpet
  • Clarinet
  • Oboe
  • Bassoon

We are also seeking applicants that are soloist-level performers in the following instruments:

  • Erhu
  • Suona
  • Pipa
  • Dizi
  • Flute

Applications are now being accepted and will be taken until all spots are filled. Each applicant must provide the following:

  • Name, gender, date of birth, home address, email address, phone number

  • Resume or C.V.
  • Recent photo (within the last three months); full-body, frontal view, at least 800x600 pixels
  • Audition audio or video
