(Clearwisdom.net) Qinghai Province Political and Judiciary Committee officials recently conducted a brainwashing session in Xining City targeting Falun Gong practitioners. Five practitioners from Xining City were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on May 9, 2011. The practitioners are: Mr. Wu Zhongmin from the Chengzhong District, who is disabled as a result of persecution; Mr. Geng Weihu from Chengzhong District; Miao Qing from Chengxi District; Ms. Nie Xiuli from Chengbei District; and a female practitioner from Huangzhong County.

The brainwashing center was located in “Qinghai Province State Taxation Bureau Training Center” at Tuanjieqiao, where a female plainclothes police officer guards the entrance gate. According to inside sources, the perpetrators mainly use deception and enticements, along with “soft” methods, in an attempt to destroy and wear down practitioners' willpower, so as to achieve their goal of forcing the practitioners to give up their belief.

We have learned that each practitioner is held in a separate room while two people monitor them in addition to 610 Office agents. Mr. Wu Zhongmin held a two-day hunger strike to protest, and was in critical condition. He has been released.

Qinghai Province Political and Judiciary Committee officials allotted special funds of more than 200,000 yuan for this one-month brainwashing session, and also invited several senior chefs, who were each paid a monthly salary of 30,000 yuan to prepare meals for the brainwashing session personnel. The personnel who have participated in the persecution try to cover up their identities and information about their workplaces.

Parties mainly responsible for the persecution at the brainwashing center:

Lu Benqian, Xining City Political and Judiciary Committee head, also Police Department head, has been participating in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners over the past twelve years;
Meng Jun, brainwashing session head; a major perpetrator trained for years by Lu Benqian;
Lu Xin, Duoba Forced Labor Camp Administrative Section head, pretending to be a state investigator and a practitioner at the brainwashing center;
Qu Minchao, Xining City Police Department's Division One head, is heavily involved in the persecution of practitioners in Xinning City;
Tan Xiaolei, 29 years old, Xining City Political and Judiciary secretary, from Heze, Shandong Province, is a thug who Lu Benqian trained to persecute practitioners;

In addition, there are also: Zhao Shuping, Zhu Qimei, Zhang Zhiqing, Jiang Chunming, Li Jianbin, Sun Huiqi, Deng Jianfu and Deng Xiong.
