(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties across 9 provinces. In this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 20 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Guangfan City, Sichuan Province] Information about Practitioners Held at the Guanghan Detention Center
There are five practitioners currently held at the Guanghan Detention Center including Ms. Yan Faying, Ms. Yang Yonghui, Ms. Luo Shizhao and Mr. Zhang Huidong.
When Ms. Yan Faying went out to clarify the truth on September 16, 2010, she was arrested by officers from the local police station and taken to a detention center. On January 18, 2011, she was tried. Her health was not good that day, so there was a recess of the court. Ms. Yan is still held at the detention center.
Mr. Yang Yonghui was arrested in March 2011. He was first taken to Hexing Brainwashing Center and later was taken to Guanghan Detention Center.
Mr. Luo Shizhao was arrested by officers from the Guanghan Domestic Security Division on the morning of March 29, 2011. She was forcibly pushed into the police vehicle and handcuffed. Later, she was held at the Guanghan Detention Center.
2. [Tianmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Meirong's Broken Finger Amputated
On March 2, 2010, Ms. He Meirong, from Zoshi Town, Tianmen City, was reported and was arrested from her home by officers from the Tianmen City Domestic Security Division and taken to the First Detention Center. At the detention center, Zhang Kaiming hung Ms. He up and brutally beat her. The middle finger of her right hand was broken. Later her finger became necrotic and was amputated against her will by the police. Later, she was sent back home.
Because Ms. He Meirong persisted in practicing Falun Gong, she was sentenced to forced labor three times and taken to a brainwashing center twice.

3. [Shanghai] More Details about the Arrest of Mr. Qian Feng
In February 2011, Mr. Qian Feng was arrested and taken to a detention center. On March 21, 2011, she was taken to the Qingfeng Brainwashing Center.
4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Jiqing Arrested
On April 18, 2011, Mr. Liu Jiqing was arrested by officers from the Dalian City Domestic Security Division and the Shahekou District Houjiagou Police Station. A computer and three books were taken.

5. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Dianxin Arrested
Mr. Sun Dianxin, from Huangyadi Village, Muyudian Town, Laiyang City, 43, was arrested by officers from the Longmenlu Police Station, Laiyang City on the afternoon of April 16, 2011. He is held at the Laiyang City Detention Center.
6. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Quanzhen Arrested and Detained
On April 13, 2011, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Tang Quanzhen, from Luzhou City, went to Yangsidian, Longmatan District, to to sell shoes and was arrested by officers from Chang'an Township Police Station including Cui Nutao and Yang Zedong. Her whereabouts are unknown.
7. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] More Information about Ms. Zhao Jinxiang and Ms. Zhang Xiuhong
On April 3, 2011, Ms. Zhao Jinxiang and Ms. Zhang Xiuhong were arrested by officers from the Bukou Police Station and their homes were ransacked. The police officers took away notebooks, a printer and Dafa books. On the morning of April 16, 2011, Ms. Zhang Xiuhong and Ms. Zhao Jinxiang were taken to Zibo Labor Camp and were sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.
8. [Xiong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Hou Jingfen and Ms. Yang Yindi Arrested
On April 19, 2010, Ms. Hou Jingfen and Ms. Yang Yindi from Xiong County, were clarifying the truth in Wenquancheng and were arrested by officers from the Wenquancheng Police Station. They are now detained at the Wenquancheng Police Station.
Officers from the Xiong County Domestic Security Division ransacked these two practitioners' homes at approximately 10:00 a.m. on April 20, 2011.

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on April 19 2011, when Ms. Liu Dongxian was clarifying the truth in Taoyuan County, Changde City, she was arrested. She is being held at the Zhangjiang Police Station.

11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] More Information about the Persecution of Mr. Liu Shuisheng
After eight years of persecution in Fanjiatai Prison, Shayang, Mr. Liu Shuisheng's term ended. He was again arrested and taken to the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center, Jianghan District, Wuhan City. He is currently at the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center.

12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Liguo Arrested
Mr. Han Liguo, from Liaozhong County, Shenyang City, had to leave home to avoid arrest in 2006. He went to Zhangwu County, Fuxin City. On April 18, 2011, police officers from Liaozhong County, led by officers from the Chengnan Police Station in Zhangwu County, arrested him and took him back to Liaozhong County.
13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xia Yang Arrested
At noon on April 20, 2011, dozens of plainclothes officers from the 610 Office stormed into Ms. Xiao Yang's home in Qingshan District, Wuhan City and arrested her.

Ms. Tian Yonghua, from Gannan County, Qiqihar City, was arrested in March 2011. Ms. Liu Li, from Longhan District, was arrested recently. Both practitioners are now held in the Qiqihar City Detention Center.
18. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Xinghua Arrested
Ms. Chen Xinghua, from Ziyang City, was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Yanjiang District Police Department, Ziyang City and the deputy Chinese Communist Party secretary of Ziyang Hospital, Water Engineering Department. Her home was ransacked.
19. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Qinlan Arrested
On April 15, 2011, Ms. Wang Qinlan, from Xifanglubei Village, Shangkou Town, Shouguang City, was arrested by officers from the Shangkou Town Police Station and the Shouguang City Police Department.
On April 1, 2011, officers from the Shangkou Town Police Station with police officers from Shouguang City, stormed into a hardware store run by Ms. Wang Qinlan and ransacked it. They took a notebook computer, two printers and some printing related materials.

On the morning of April 18, 2011, Ms. Chen Wenqin's daughter-in-law Yang Liju, who was working for the Hengshui City 610 Office, deceived Ms. Chen and took her to the Hengshui City Brainwashing Center, where she was subjected to persecution. Ms. Chen is in her seventies.
