(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 27 cities or counties in 11 provinces. As per this report, 31 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 32 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Yimin and Other Huabei Oilfield Practitioners Persecuted
Li Shizhen and other agents from the Huabei Oilfield Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Zhang Yimin, an Oilfield Technical School teacher, and Ms. Cao Shufang, his wife, and took them to the Langfang Brainwashing Center. The agents also sent Ms. Wang Suyun, a practitioner in the Oilfield Logging Company, to this brainwashing center.
Kong Fanmao and other agents from Renqiu Police Department arrested Associate Professor Ms. Li Aihua in December 2010 and held her at the Renqiu City Detention Center.
2. [Dong’an County, Hunan Province] Ms. Tian Caiyin Arrested
Ms. Tian Caiyin is employed at the Irrigation Station of the Dong’an County Water and Power Authority. Domestic Security Division head Liu Lianhua and agents from the 610 Office broke into her home on March 23, 2011. Ms. Tian’s salary has been reduced by 3,000 yuan since December 2010.

3. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Changrong Arrested
Ms. Zhang Changrong is an employee of the Songzao Coal Mine at Anwen Town in Qijiang County. Three police officers took Ms. Zhang away from her home on the morning of April 1, 2011. More than 40 hours have passed, but Ms. Zhang still has not returned.
4. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Suyu Arrested
Ms. Wang Suyu, 70, is a former employee of the Anyue County Food Administration. County 610 Office head Chen Dongmei and Domestic Security Division officer Jiang Mingquan arrested Ms. Wang at her daughter’s place in mid-March 2011. They took her to the Erehu Brainwashing Center in Yingjie Town in the Yanjiang District in Ziyang City.
5. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Update Regarding the Persecution of Ms. He Guizhen, Ms. Li Huimin, and Ms. Liu Rongxian
Police agents arrested practitioners Ms. He Guizhen and Ms. Liu Rongxian the morning of March 31, 2011, as the two women distributed informational materials about Falun Dafa at a farmers’ market. After the officers took them to the Xiaoba Police Station, more than 10 of them then went to the practitioners' homes and confiscated personal belongings, including computers and Falun Gong books. Ms. Li Huimin happened to go by Ms. He's during the home ransacking, and she was arrested as well. Finding truth-clarification materials in Ms. Li’s bag, the officerss went to her home in the evening and confiscated a computer and other equipment used to prepare informational materials. The authorities are holding these practitioners at the Panlong District First Detention Center.

6. [Chongqing] Update Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Wang Jihong - 2009 Information
Police arrested 40-year-old Yubei District Ms. Wang Jihong as she distributed informational materials about Falun Dafa in Muer Town the morning of August 15, 2009. Two additional female practitioners were also arrested. The agents held them at the town police station and confiscated their personal belongings, including three cell phones, one MP3 player, and 200 yuan in cash.
District police department agents arrived half an hour later. They beat the practitioners brutally and took them to the district detention center.
7. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Luo Shichang, Ms. Gu Daiqin, and Ms. Zhang Huidong Arrested the Morning of March 29

Taoxilu Police Station agents arrested Mr. Deng Chaozhong the morning of March 31, 2001, and have held him since then.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Min Arrested at Home the Evening of March 29
10. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lin Bailing and Mr. Zhang Songwei Arrested
Ms. Lin Bailing was arrested the morning of March 29, 2011. Mr. Zhang Songwei was arrested the afternoon of March 23, 2011. Participating in the arrests were agents from his workplace security department and from the local 610 Office. The agents took him to the Xiaoguang Brainwashing Center in Shahezi Town, where he remains.
11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sufen Held at the Jinzhou Detention Center
Baigu Police Station agents arrested Ms. Wang Sufen on March 29, 2011, as she distributed DVDs about Falun Dafa in Jintun Village in the Linghe District. They then held her at the Jinzhou Detention Center.

Chengbei Police Station agents arrested Ms. Niu Huizhen and her husband (surnamed Liu) on March 23, 2011. They also arrested two other practitioners in Chengbei Village.
14. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Shengli Refinery Employee Mr. Pu Zhixiu Arrested for Explaining the Facts About Falun Dafa
Police recently arrested Mr. Pu Zhixiu, a retired employee of the Shengli Refinery, as he was explaining the facts about Falun Dafa. His wife has many illnesses and there is now no one to take care of her.
15. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Chengqiong Arrested in the Guangan District
Jinjiang District practitioner Ms. Zhang Chengqiong, 27, went to her hometown with her husband on December 20, 2010. Someone reported her to the police the next day as she explained the the facts about Falun Dafa. Police agents arrested her and held her at the Guang’an District Detention Center.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhu Rufang Had Money Seized and Home Ransacked
More than ten Laodongjie Police Station officers in the Jiang’an District invaded the home of Ms. Zhu Rufang in the Yangchahu Community on March 16, 2011. They confiscated Falun Gong books and over 20,000 yuan in cash. 5,000 of the bills had truth-clarification messges written on them. She was released on bail after paying 10,000 yuan.
17. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhu Faming and Ms. Liu Yucai Facing Imprisonment
Lanshan District practitioners Mr. Zhu Faming and Ms. Liu Yucai were arrested on September 26, 2010. They have been held at the Linyi Detention Center. Lanshan District Court officials notified their families about one week ago of their upcoming trial.
18. [Yanbian City, Jilin Province] Longjing Police Department Agents Arrested Ms. Zhang Yuxiu from Her Home on the Evening of March 30, 2011
19. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Ruofei, Ms. Xiong Lixiang, and Ms. Chen Zhongyu Were Arrested on March 24, 2011. Their Whereabouts Are Unknown
20. [Yilong County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wen Hui Arrested and Released the Same Day
After learning of Mr. Tang Xujun's arrest on the afternoon of March 30, practitioner Mr. Wen Hui went to Mr. Tang’s place for more information. The agents took Mr. Wen to the Jincheng Town Police Station and handcuffed him to a metal chair. They released him later that evening.

Gengzhuang Police Station arrested Niuzhuang Town practitioner Mr. Tian Baowei as he was explaining the facts about Falun Dafa the evening of April 2. He is being held in the Haicheng City Detention Center.

23. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Yuchen Sent to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Gao Yuchen was a teacher at the Zaozhuang Mining Group training center. Her three-year labor camp term expired in February, but was extended for her refusal to give up her belief in Falun Dafa. About two weeks ago, Ms. Gao was transferred from Jinan Women’s Forced Labor Camp to Jinan Brainwashing Center.
24. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Update Regarding the Arrests of Ms. Ju Zaiping and Other Practitioners by Domestic Security Division Agents
Domestic Security Division agents arrested Ms. Ju Zaiping on April 3, 2010. They also harassed her son, Mr. Gong Runzhong, and ransacked their home, confiscating a computer and printing equipment. Ms. Yang Xiaohui's whereabouts are unknown. Four police officers arrested practitioner Wang Huiji.

25. [Zhangye City, Gansu Province] Mr. Li Guoxian Persecuted Numerous Times
Mr. Li Guoxian, in his 40s, lives in Liujiagou Village, Liangjiadun Town. Wang Shiying and five other Ganzhou District State Security Division agents invaded his home on the morning of March 29, 2011. They confiscated two laptop computers and one printer. They arrested Mr. Li and held him in the Xindun Detention Center in Ganzhou District.
Mr. Li went to Beijing to appeal in May 2000 and was detained for 15 days. In July 2000 he was detained for more than amonth for discussing the persecution, followed by incarceration in a forced labor camp for one and a half years. He was again sent to a forced labor camp in 2003 for a term of two and a half years. Both times he was held in the Pingantai Forced Labor Camp.

26. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lu Xixiang Sentenced to Four Years – Information from 2009
Police agents arrested 58-year-old Ms. Lu Xixiang in November 2009 when she distributed informational DVDs in the countryside. The officials took her to the county detention center, secretly sentenced her to four years of imprisonment, and sent her to Yinmahe Prison in Jianyang City.
Ms. Lu was previously detained twice at the Nanmusi Women’s Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong County, Sichuan Province.
27. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Foyedong Police Station Agents Persecute Practitioners
Foyedong Police Station officer Liu Jingkui arrested Caojiagou Village practitioner Mr. Wang Hong on January 24, 2011. Officers also arrested Ms. Liu Yuhuan, Ms. Liu Wenru, Ms. Wang Cuilan, Ms. Yang Shurong, Ms. Wang Xiaohua, and Ms. Shi Fengxia. Officials held these practitioners and sent them to labor camps. Two of them are still in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City. The officers extorted more than 100,000 yuan from these practitioners’ families.
28. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Yang Min by Shanqian Police Station
Police arrested Ms. Yang Min and Mr. Yang Liu at noon on April 1, 2011. The officers covertly extorted 10,000 yuan from Mr. Yang and released him. Following this, officials then held Ms. Yang at the Songjiang Detention Center in Jilin City for 15 days and threatened to sentence her to a term of one and a half years.

Mr. Li Jidong is a practitioner in Xiaogutan Village, Zhangji Township. 610 Office agents arrested him at home on the evening of February 27, 2011, and sentenced him to forced labor He is now in Wandi Forced Labor Camp.
