Solemn Declaration
On May 26, 2011, I was illegally arrested and detained for 15 days by the Domestic Security Division and the Police Department and then tortured for 18 days in a brainwashing center. Because of oppressive pressure and my attachment to sentiment, I unwittingly signed some guarantee statements denouncing Falun Gong. I felt very pained that I had let Master and Dafa down. After studying the Fa with a calm mind and reading experience sharing articles in Minghui Weekly, I deeply realized that prior to this time I didn't diligently study the Fa and truly understand Master's teachings. I had studied the Fa as a formality and the evil took advantage of my superficiality of thought to damage Dafa and leave a stain on my cultivation path. I solemnly declare: Everything I have done, including signing those “guarantee statements,” that is disrespectful to Master and Dafa is null and void. To make up for the damages I have caused, I will steadfastly study Dafa, firmly maintain my righteous thoughts, and truly cultivate myself to the end.”

Solemn Declaration
When I clarified the truth and distributed truth-clarification materials on October 3, 2009, I was framed, illegally arrested, and sent to a forced labor camp for 2 years. I was then transferred to a brainwashing center where I was tortured. They brutally beat me, forced me to stand for many hours at a time, and starved me. Due to the severe torture, my whole body became uncontrollably shaky. I felt chilly, dizzy, and nauseous, and lost my appetite. Because of my human attachments and lack of diligent Fa study, I wrote the three statements against my will. Even worse, I did one disrespectful thing that a Dafa practitioner would not do; I stomped on Master's photo on my way out of the center. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done that does not comply with Dafa is null and void. From now on, I will do the three things well to make up for the loss I caused to Dafa.”
