Greetings Master!
Greetings fellow practitioners!
I started to practice Falun Gong four years ago. However, I did not feel discouraged on account of my late start. I have to be determined and steadfast on the cultivation path arranged by Master, in order to repay His merciful salvation.
My main responsibility is to provide technical support for material sites or families. Here, I would like to report to Master my experiences producing Shen Yun Performing Arts' 2011 Tour DVDs.
Get Rid of the Attachment to Fear
The quality of Shen Yun DVDs produced by our area in past years was not very good. We had a wish this year to produce high-quality DVDs. We have to walk on our own cultivation path.
When we received the requirements for producing Shen Yun Performing Arts' 2011 Tour DVDs from the Minghui Editors, we reviewed them and had a detailed discussion. The requirements were strict this year: we “cannot change anything on the Shen Yun DVD, including changing the cover or envelope, eliminating the cover or envelope, or having handwriting on the DVD.” Every DVD had its own envelope design such that the entire package looked very professional and beautiful. In addition, we were asked to collect feedback from the viewers; this too was a sacred mission and responsibility that Dafa disciples had to fulfill. By understanding the reason why Master created Shen Yun, we would definitely do well with the project of producing Shen Yun DVDs in order to save more sentient beings as Master directed.
There are two editions of the Shen Yun 2011 Performance. The VCD edition has three discs, with each disc having over sixty files totaling over 600MB. The DVD edition has more than 400 files for a total of more than 4GB. When I saw the sizes of the files, a thought surfaced, “The files are too large. It could be unsafe to download them.” My attachment to fear came out to stop me. All I considered was how to safely download the files.
After I sensed the attachment of fear, I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it, “I am a disciple of Master Li. What I am doing is the most righteous thing in the universe-- to save sentient beings. I have to eliminate all the evil forces and all the materials which prevent me from doing Dafa work. I must have righteous thoughts and walk on the righteous path to finish downloading all the files for the 2011 Shen Yun Performance.” Using strong righteous thoughts, I eliminated the interference during the downloading process and rejected all the thoughts that arose from the attachment to fear.
Gradually, my mindset became stable. I use the computer as my weapon to fight and eliminate the evil forces. The download speed was so fast that the first VCD was finished in a short time. I continuously downloaded the other two VCD's and did not have any chance to worry.
I realized, “If I treat myself as a true practitioner, all my thoughts are selfless, consider others first, and are about saving sentient beings. These thoughts are actually the thoughts of a god, and the abilities I use are supernormal. The material in the human realm cannot affect me at all and interference from the evil forces is useless. The effect is powerful and extraordinary.” I reviewed the program at normal speed and found that the quality was very good. The sound and video were both very clear.
Buying Blank Discs Without Any Notions
Practitioner B asked me if I would like to go out to shop for blank VCDs and DVDs with her. She put on her old backpack and got ready to go. I asked her to put down the backpack and just bring money. She did it, but later I found that I had the attachment to judge or direct other people with my notions. I did not like the backpack and requested the practitioner to follow my order. After finding the attachment, I got rid of it right away.
Another practitioner told us to pay attention to plainclothes police officers or monitoring systems around the place that sells blank computer discs. If we bought a lot of discs at once, it might draw the attention of the police. We thought that if we studied the Fa well, got rid of the attachment to fear, and went about things with wisdom and righteous thoughts, there should be no problem. No one would pay attention to us because common people could never persecute gods.
There are many computer discs available on the market. However, which one has good quality? I started to worry that I might not obtain quality discs. At that moment, I realized that my human notions had surfaced again. It made me worry and I could not make up my mind. Fortunately, with the firm belief in Master and the Fa, I asked for Master's support in picking good quality discs
Cultivation is to purify our thoughts. If we have the righteous thoughts to be selfless and to validate the Fa, Master will lay down a road for us. We successfully bought blank computer discs, and the quality of the discs was very good.
Producing Discs with a Clear Mind
Producing Shen Yun discs was not only to save sentient beings, but also to upgrade our realm of cultivation. The quality of the discs directly relates to how many people could be saved. Therefore, while producing the discs, we should clear our minds, study the Fa well, send more righteous thoughts, let the righteous thoughts and sense of responsibility guide us, and do our best job in saving more sentient beings.
We received some feedback from the practitioners giving out Shen Yun discs, “Now, more families are using DVD players than VCD players. We should make more DVDs than VCDs. The quality of a DVD is better than a VCD, and the density is also higher, which would reduce the production costs. If we give out the discs face-to-face, we can ask which one they use.” We accepted the suggestion and adjusted the ratio of DVDs to VCDs. It not only helped the practitioners distributing the discs, but also reduced costs.
An elderly practitioner, A, was in charge of mass producing the discs. Practitioner B wanted to take over for A, since she saw that A was continuously sitting there without taking a break for several days. Ten minutes after B started her first DVD, she felt bored. So she started to study the Fa. After a while, she found that the DVD burner stopped at 21% completion and the DVD in the burner could not be used any more. She tried two more times and the results were the same. She complained, “Why did this problem start as soon as I took over?” I replied, “We should search inward and try to find the attachment causing it. Then, send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the interference and the evil forces.”
I realized, “We are not focusing enough to produce the discs. The 21% clearly points out our percentage of concentration, and it is caused by our impure hearts. If we don't have a clean mindset, the energy field for producing Shen Yun discs will also suffer, which would causes the DVD burner to stop. Because the whole process had been going so smoothly, my attachments to joy and the show-off mentality gradually surfaced. Since other practitioners were in charge of the whole production, I thought that I did not have to pay attention anymore and my attachment to comfort arose. I had to take this chance arranged by Master to get rid of my attachments, and to improve.” Other practitioners also found many attachments from conflicts in their families and among fellow practitioners. They admitted that they had not gotten rid of the attachments in time, so the evil forces took the opportunity to interfere with our Dafa work. I asked Master to support me to clean up all the impure substances in my space. All of us sent forth righteous thoughts together to get rid of our impurities and to eliminate the evil forces and their elements which interfered with our Dafa work.
After that, we restarted the DVD burner. A strange sound came from the burner. We opened its case and found the sound was from its hard drive. I disconnected the hard drive and restarted it again. Incredibly, the DVD burner worked again! With the Fa and Master, practitioners can create miracles! Everything was back to normal and the burner worked as it should.
Search Inward First, then Fix the Printer
The last step in producing Shen Yun discs was to print the label on the disc and put it in the envelope. With a new ink cartridge, our printer could print the picture perfectly on a sheet of A4 paper. However, it had a problem printing it on a CD. The computer always showed an error message. If the label could not be printed on the discs, all our efforts would be wasted. We refused to be interfered with in the final step and I started to debug the problem. I downloaded all the solutions related to printing problems from tiandixing.org and followed the instructions step by step. Not only could I not find the problem, but also I broke a plastic hook in the printer. Therefore, I stopped.
Whenever tribulations occur, practitioners always search inward. I started to look inward and was surprised that I was actually validating myself and trying to prove that I had excellent skills! The basis was incorrect. Computer skills are just ordinary people's skills. For a practitioner, upgrading xinxing and validating Dafa are the most important things! I always thought that technical problems could be solved by technical knowledge and skills without considering the problems from the cultivation perspective. Therefore, I was interfered with and wasted a lot of precious time. I remembered that I read an article on Minghui website “Upgrade Xinxing First, Then Fix the Machines.” If we search inward right after a problem happens and correct ourselves based on the Fa, our technical problem can always be solved quickly. This is also an approach that validates Dafa.
Other practitioners heard that we had a printing problem. One practitioner sent us the replacement component for the printer, another practitioner provided the troubleshooting guide, and a third practitioner even brought an old printer for us to take components from. A practitioner who did not come to the material site often suggested, “It's urgent to save people, let's take the discs to print them in stores!” After a brief discussion, we came to an agreement. No matter how busy we are, we should study the Fa well. Studying the Fa well is fundamental for doing any Dafa work well. In addition, we should search inward unconditionally and treat the problem seriously.
The upgrading of technical skill is synchronous with improvement in cultivation. If my xinxing improved quickly, my technical knowledge would grow fast. After I studied the Fa, understood the Fa, searched inward, and corrected my mindset, the situation changed. I failed twice to repair the plastic hook which I broke earlier. On the third try, the glue was effective and the printer was back to normal. When the printer successfully printed out the test page, we understood that the problem had been solved. The quality of the CD label was very good.
I realized that Master not only want me to fix the printer's problem, but also wanted me to find the problem in my cultivation. Through the entire process, I could find my shortcomings and improve. As Dafa disciples, we should clearly understand what the priority is whenever a problem comes up. Searching inward should always come before investigating the mechanical problem. Sending forth righteous thoughts is also very important. It demonstrates the mindset of believing in Master and Dafa. The first thought of a practitioner often determines the his/her cultivation realm.
Distributing Discs
It's an important project to promote Shen Yun during the Fa-rectification period. Since all the discs were produced early this year, our fellow practitioners could distribute them during the Chinese New Year period while visiting friends and relatives.
Practitioner B was in charge of distributing the discs. She gave out the correct amount of discs to each local practitioner and ordered the correct amount of discs when they were needed. All the work was well coordinated. She discussed with each practitioner the meaning behind the Shen Yun discs. She let all the practitioners realize that every disc was precious, we had to treat them seriously, and make them effective weapons to save sentient beings.
Local practitioners distributed the Shen Yun discs effectively with righteous thoughts and actions. In farm villages, practitioners gave out the discs face-to-face. In the cities, practitioners sent the discs to their friends and relatives during the Chinese New Year period. The feedback that practitioners received showed that the public was very positive about the performance. Now, all our local practitioners can wisely distribute the discs, instead of simply giving every family a copy. Some practitioners were concerned that we might give DVDs to the people who can only play VCDs. After studying the Fa, we came to an agreement, “It's Master who saves people, not us. When we were distributing the discs, Master's fashen was protecting us. Without any attachment to fear and keeping a compassionate and pure mindset, we believe that the discs will be delivered to the people who have a predestined relationship with us.”
Shen Yun Performing Arts Discs are powerful weapons to save sentient beings which Master provides to Dafa disciples during the Fa-rectification period. We should follow the requests of Master and the progress of the Fa-rectification, and use Shen Yun discs to save people. It is truly the highest honor to have been entrusted with this task. Dafa disciples need to cherish the chance that Master has given us!
Thank you Master! Heshi!

After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched its persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, I spent an extended period of time in Beijing, going to Tiananmen Square on a daily basis. Whenever I saw other practitioners there exercising, holding the wheel position, I would join them. We were like a group.
In December 1999, I again went to Tiananmen Square to exercise with a group of fellow practitioners. We took a tape player, and it was magnificent.
I was arrested more than a dozen times in Beijing, but each time I was able to escape. One time, when a group of practitioners were arrested and held in a room with a guard at the door, I did not sleep, but just stared at the guard. He soon began to fall asleep. The door was unlocked so I opened it and ran out. Other practitioners who were not asleep also rushed out of the room, but they did not follow me closely and were stopped by the guard who had by then woken up.
On another occasion when I was arrested, the police officer was walking in front of me and I saw a chance to escape when I saw a taxi beside me. I jumped in and told the driver that someone was trying to harm me so he stepped on the pedal and I got away. Another time when I was arrested, a guard was taking me back to Shenzhen. He purchased a big bag of beans and ordered me to carry it so that I wouldn’t have a chance to run away. On the road, I saw an airport sign. I thought, “Oh, Master is helping me run away.” I ran away with the beans.
Hunger strike
I was arrested in Beijing in 2000. My daughter was notified to pick me up and take me home, but she did not come. I believe that Master hinted to me to start a hunger strike. There were over 100 practitioners there and most of them were also on a hunger strike. I took one box lunch, and said, “Master, it is a shame to waste this box of food; I will start the hunger strike after this meal.” I held out on the hunger strike for one week with no food or water. I felt very comfortable and very light. I persuaded other practitioners to also go on a hunger strike.
Eventually, authorities from each of the provinces came to take the practitioners back to their areas. The guard told me to go to Guangzhou. They knew that I had sold my house in Shenzhen, and had money to go to Beijing and other places. I was then taken to Guangzhou by plane. Master reminded me to stop the hunger strike. I said to Master, “I felt so comfortable while on the hunger strike, it would be great if I could stop eating in the future. It would also help to save food.” That day, I could not raise my hands while exercising. I had never been so tired before; I did not let my hands come down. I knew there must have been a problem with my xinxing, so I thought about what it could be. I realized it must have had something to do with the hunger strike. I said, “Alright Master, I will stop the hunger strike. Falun Dafa practitioners should eat.” My hands became light immediately. I asked Master again, “When should I stop the hunger strike,” but Master did not answer. I thought that as a meal was offered on the plane I should stop my hunger strike at that time. I sensed Master patting my head and I knew I was right.
Asking for trouble
I was released as soon as I arrived in Guangzhou. I shared my experiences with fellow practitioners there whenever I had the chance. I was shocked to learn that a college teacher named Gao Xianmin from Jinan University had been persecuted to death. Another practitioner told me what happened, how he resisted the persecution, went on a hunger strike and was then force-fed, which resulted in his death. I thought that others had endured so much for Dafa, so I needed to endure hardships for Dafa as well. It was as if you were not safeguarding Dafa unless you went to prison. I was asking for trouble. I saw Master was enduring for us in other dimensions. I thought I wanted to eliminate my own karma. I could not let Master bear my share. However, all those thoughts were not in accordance with the Fa and I was asking for these tribulations. And they indeed came.
Master published “The Knowing Heart”
We had not heard any news from Master for about a year after July 20, 1999. We knew there were fake scriptures circulating. Then, on May 22, 2000, Master published his first scripture after the persecution, entitled “The Knowing Heart”. After I read it, I could not discern whether it was genuine or fake. Another practitioner who had a computer at home asked me to read the article online. When I got onto the Minghui website (the Chinese version of Clearwisdom), I knew that it was Master’s words. I said to Master, “Master, I am wrong again. I have been disrespectful to Master again; forgive me.” Master then showed me a vision:
Master was at the front of a huge ship. Each of his disciples were in smaller boats. We lined up closely; some lined up a long way back, and later someone fell out of the boat when a wave came. It was just like Master said, “The mountains shake, the seas churn, and the ferocious waves billow.” Master told me, “Hold on.” I clutched onto the boat tightly; later I saw that someone was left behind. I said, “Master, he could not follow closely.” Master was so compassionate. He used a long rope with a hook on the end and rescued the disciple. I saw that someone else was about to fall and I held on to him to prevent him from falling.
Arrested
In the summer of 2000, I wanted to go to Beijing to clarify the facts about Falun Gong and endure hardship. However, I was arrested at the railway station in Guangzhou. The people who arrested me said that I looked like a Falun Gong practitioner. They asked me where I was from, but I did not answer. They searched my bag and found my phone book. They realized that I belonged to the railway system, so they did not have the heart to arrest me. They said that people who practice Falun Gong were not bad people and it was only that they were ordered to arrest them. They told me to go, but I refused. They found my classmate's phone number and asked her to take me home, but she was so afraid she did not come. They then called my mother, but when she came the next day, I was already being held by the Shenzhen police.
I was held in the Guangzhou railway station for a night. The next day, they allowed me to leave, but I didn’t go. They eventually decided to let the police from Shenzhen take me away. They said, “We do not have the heart to let you suffer.” The police from Shenzhen knew me well and when they came they said, “What is your problem, you run everywhere and cause trouble; we will really teach you a lesson this time.”
Luohu Detention Center in Shenzhen
I was detained at the Luohu Detention Center. I refused to do forced labor and I did the Falun Gong exercises. I was stopped and hung up, and also dragged along the ground. I was concerned that if my buttocks were wounded then I wouldn’t be able to sit and do the meditation. Everyone went through this torture, and their buttocks were covered with blood. My pants were torn, but I was not injured. This frightened the guards.
Since they would not let me exercise and study the Fa, I began a hunger strike. They force-fed me, and as a result my teeth became loose. They beat me very hard, but I was not afraid. The head of the detention center changed his attitude towards me later. He was amazed that Falun Gong practitioners could truly endure hardship. He agreed that I could exercise while I was in detention.
I stopped my hunger strike. I saw that someone was eating dried sweet potato chips and thought that I would like one. I said to the person: “I would like a chip; I have not eaten for a long time.” She gave me a piece. It tasted great, and my teeth were no longer loose.
Tribulation
When I was held at the Luohu Detention Center, I met with even bigger tribulations, as I did not let go of my attachments and my cultivation was very arduous. I realized that I asked for this tribulation, since I wanted to endure hardship. Master gave me hints that after this one, there would be more to come. I knew it would be big and difficult. A higher being controlled me; it erased all my memory and pressed me down. I could not hear anything except its nonsense. I enlarged the two characters “firm”, but it erased them immediately. I attempted to memorize the Fa, but it erased it from my memory. I could not remember anything. I began reading Hong Yin out loud, and asked others to do so as well. As a result, the being could not interfere with me as much, but it still did not leave. I thought I would listen to its reason for persecuting me, but none of its words were on the Fa, so I debated it with Fa, and I became more clearheaded. After the third day, it stopped talking, but used its gong to press on me. There were numerous black substances pressing me down. I could not rise up. I said I had to pass this test. I told Master that I could do it.
Since I could not remember anything, I recited Zhuan Falun. The being seemed scared, so I began reciting Zhuan Falun nonstop for 24 hours. There were numerous Falun rotating in the room and all the black substances were gone. That being was gone as well.
Sentenced to Labor Camp the first time
At the labor camp, I was held in solitary confinement. Initially, the authorities did not want to send me to a labor camp. When I heard that there were numerous Dafa practitioners in labor camps, I decided that I wanted to go to a labor camp. I made the statement in the morning, and was sentenced to a labor camp for two years in the afternoon.
In the summer of 2000, I was transferred to Guangdong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Sanshui, Foshan. I took my Zhuan Falun and other scriptures with me. They were not detected when I was searched. I was held in a room by myself while others went to work. I began to study the Fa. Later someone found out so they handcuffed me and confiscated my book.
Later, the collaborators came and tried to make me give up Falun Gong. One of them said, “Look, Master has endured so much for us. If you still cultivate, you will make Master die.” My tears ran down my face immediately. I said, “You are right, Master has borne all my hardships. They hit my head with an electric baton with full force, but I was not hurt. Master endured all the pain for me.” I cried and said to Master, “I will not cultivate again. I will repay my karma one life-time at a time. I will accumulate my virtue that way.”
Once I said that, I saw Master appear very, very sad. I also cried. I told Master, “I really do not want Master to endure anymore for me.” I thought it must have been my knowing side that was crying non-stop. The guards became inpatient with me, saying, “Alright you may cultivate. How do you live like this? You cry 24 hours a day and don’t sleep, doing nothing but crying.”
Later I told Master, “I might as well cultivate.” Master seemed a little less sad.
When I said I would no longer cultivate, I feel I truly hurt Master's heart. His heart was open and my words left a scar. Since the persecution, numerous people have stopped cultivating. I saw Master' tears running down in the color blood red.

Persecution Suffered: Forced labor, illegal sentencing, forced injections/drug administration, beatings, imprisonment, torture, force-feedings, mental hospital, detention
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Jiang Bingsheng from Guoxiang Town, the Wuzhong District, Suzhou City was subjected to persecution several times. He died as a result of the extensive physical and mental abuse he was subjected to. He was sentenced to five years in prison in 2003, after he was released from the Suzhou Prison in early 2008, he was harassed and monitored many times by Wuzhong District 610 Office agents, and died shortly after.
Mr. Jiang Bingsheng started practicing Falun Gong in April 1997, and benefited both physically and mentally. When doing business, he conducted himself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
He went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in October 2000, and was taken back to Suzhou by Suzhou 610 Office agents and officers from the Wuzhong District Police Department and the Guoxiang Police Station. He was held in the Suzhou No. 2 Detention Center for a month before he was given a one-and-a-half-year forced labor term. He was taken to the Fangqiang Forced Labor Camp in Dafeng, where he was severely physically abused and mistreated. He was forced to do hard labor for nearly a year in Division No. 4, and transferred to Division No. 2 where Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to brutal persecution. Perpetrators involved in the persecution include Party head Yu Yonghai, Division head Ji Hua, political head Wei Yun, and guards Wei Honghui and Sun Qiang as well as other thugs.
Once, the prison guards and local 610 Office agents deceived Mr. Jiang's wife and child into traveling thousands of miles to visit him in the labor camp. The perpetrators ordered Mr. Jiang's wife and child to kneel down in front of Mr. Jiang, in an attempt to force Mr. Jiang to renounce his spiritual belief. Mr. Jiang firmly refused. Just as he was to be released, the guards extended his term by six months.
Mr. Jiang was released in late 2002, and went to Beijing once again in the spring of 2003 to validate Dafa. He was once again taken back to Suzhou by officers from the Suzhou City Police Department. Wuzhong District Court officials sentenced Mr. Jiang to five years in prison and held him in Suzhou Prison where he was subjected to severe physical abuse and torture, because he remained steadfast in his belief.
Torture Reenactment: Force-feeding
Mr. Jiang held a hunger strike twice to protest the persecution. The longest hunger strike lasted for more than 100 days. The guards force-fed him several times, injuring his lungs. Long-term force feedings left Mr. Jiang physically weakened. The guards then resorted to the most heinous means of abuse: incarcerating Mr. Jiang twice in the Liyang Prison Mental Hospital.
The guards tortured Mr. Jiang in an electric chair, in an attempt to force him to stop his hunger strike. They also injected him with drugs that damage the central nervous system. Long-term brutal persecution seriously devastated Mr. Jiang's physical and mental health.
After he was released in early 2008, Mr. Jiang was placed under harassment and monitoring many times by the district's 610 Office agents. He died shortly after being released as a result of the serious injuries sustained during his five years of imprisonment.

(Clearwisdom.net) When Dalian City practitioner Mr. Yu Changshun's daughter went to visit him at the Fushun Brainwashing Center on October 31, 2011, she found him paralyzed in bed and both his legs were swollen to different degrees. Mr. Yu's black hair had turned gray and he had lost more than 30 jin (15 kilograms) in weight. Despite his fragile physical condition, brainwashing center officials refused to release him.
Forty-seven-year-old Mr. Yu is from Daliba Village of Songyuan City in Jilin Province and worked as a manager in Dalian for a Beijing insulation materials company. Agents from the Zhongchang Police Station in the Jinzhou District of Dalian City, as well as domestic security division officials, unlawfully arrested him on June 29, 2011. After being mistreated at the Sanli Detention Center in the Jinzhou District for about 100 days, he was sent to the Luotaishan Village Brainwashing Center in Fushun on October 12.
After the CCP began to persecute Falun Gong over 10 years ago, Mr. Yu was arrested and sent to forced labor camps several times. He was arrested in Shenyang City on July 7, 2001. Agents tortured him and sent him to the Dalian Labor Camp for a term of three years. As a result of mistreatment at the labor camp he was disabled, paralyzed, and unable to take care of himself.
Mr. Yu was arrested once again by agents from the Wanli Police Station in Jinzhou District in August 2006. Because of mistreatment at the detention center, he was paralyzed from the waist down, and he was unable to walk. In spite of his disability, Xu Yungang in the Political Security Division of Jinzhou Police Department sentenced him to two years of forced labor without following any legal procedures. Mr. Yu was carried to the Dalian Labor Camp on a stretcher. Dalian Labor Camp officials knew he did not meet the physical requirements of the labor camp and should be released, but nonetheless admitted him and kept him in solitary confinement.
Mr. Yu's 18-year-old daughter had enrolled in a university in Beijing earlier this year. After Mr. Yu was arrested, she could not afford the tuition, and had to drop out of college. She traveled from Jilin Province to ask for her father's release.
At this time, officials from the Jinzhou District Domestic Security Division, Political and Judicial Bureau, and Fushun Brainwashing Center have refused to release Mr. Yu.

IV. Afterword
Faith in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is without fault, and Falun Gong teaches people to be virtuous. Practitioners in China hold firm to the righteous faith that they have chosen and proceed on that path without hesitation. The gentle female practitioners documented in this article undertook their moral obligations and, with their great benevolent hearts treasuring all sentient beings, explained the facts about Falun Gong to people, resisted the persecution, and saved worldly people. This showed their great compassion and forbearance. However, they have been cruelly persecuted by the CCP for more than ten years and the persecution is still going on.
During the Nuremberg Trials after the Second World War, procurator Robert Jackson said, “The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant and so devastating, that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored because it cannot survive their being repeated.”
At the Nuremberg Trials, an international court tried 5,025 defendants accused of war crimes, crimes against peace, and crimes against humanity. Those trials also left us such legal thoughts, “An individual must be held responsible for violating the law while fulfilling his duties or executing commands.”
Mr. Gao Zhisheng, a lawyer in Beijing and known as “China's conscience,” said after investigating cases about persecuted Falun Gong practitioners, “I found that the severity of this issue is both horrific and desperate. As a lawyer, as a Chinese citizen, I cannot choose silence!”
The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong reiterates that they will continue to thoroughly investigate all crimes relating to the persecution Falun Gong and that they will track down responsible organizations and individuals across the globe, to even the remotest corners of the earth, no matter how long it takes, and that they will help the victims to take the criminals to the court to be punished for their crimes and alert the public.
Peacefully and rationally, Falun Gong practitioners are merely resisting the persecution that seeks to deny them their right to freedom of belief. In everything they do—whether it is to explain the facts about Falun Gong, hand out flyers, put up banners, expose the persecution of Falun Gong through Chinese state-controlled media, prosecute evildoers overseas, spread the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, or advise people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party, the Youth League and/or the Young Pioneers—they are following heaven's will, the law, and people's will to stop the persecution.
Today, Falun Gong practitioners are bearing a huge tribulation and waiting for people to wake up from indifference. They are fulfilling with their lives the promises that they made in remote ages. Please distinguish between good and evil and understand the truth of Falun Gong. A kind thought or a few fair words about Falun Gong will bring you a most wonderful future. This is what those practitioners, at the cost of being brutally persecuted in China, are hoping and striving to achieve.

(Clearwisdom.net) Before Ms. Chen Xiuyang practiced Falun Gong she suffered from insomnia, tracheitis and inflammation of the mouth. After she became a practitioner she regained her health and her illnesses disappeared. However, she was subjected to persecution and on July 11, 2008, officers from the Chengjiao Township Police Station arrested Ms. Chen and took her to the Mianyang Detention Center, where she was detained for one month.
On November 1, 2011, Ms. Chen was celebrating her birthday at home with her children. Soon after they left at 9 p.m., someone knocked on the door. Ms. Chen thought that her children had come back for something and quickly opened the door. Several police officers rushed into her home and tried to take her away. Ms. Chen leaned towards a window and shouted, “There are bad people in my home! They are trying to take me away!”
Some of her neighbors quickly came to see what was happening, and one of them called her son. When her son returned to the house, he asked the police why they had come to an elderly person's home so late at night. An officer said anxiously, “She practices Falun Gong.” Ms. Chen's son replied, “What's the matter with practicing Falun Gong? She was not very healthy and so practices Falun Gong to get fit. Which law does she violate?”
The police quickly left the house and went to see Zhang Zhiping, the head of the Residential Community. They then returned to Ms. Chen's home with Zhang. Zhang said to Ms. Chen, “Today is your birthday. Tomorrow you must come with me, and I guarantee to have you back home in three days.”
The next day, Zhang led officers from Kechuangyuan Police Station to Ms. Chen's home shortly after 9 a.m. They took her to Wujia Brainwashing Center.
The head of the Women's Committee, Li Jiqiong and another member of the Women's Committee, Dang Cuilan worked in the brainwashing center and were paid 100 yuan per day for each Falun Gong practitioner they had detained there.

(Clearwisdom.net) A "Solemn Declaration" is a person's public statement to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. These statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wish to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Now, they hereby declare their intention to resume practicing Falun Dafa.
Here are some examples of the Solemn Declarations:

(Clearwisdom.net) Before I joined the group to call Mainland China and tell Chinese the truth about Falun Gong, my cultivation had reached a very low level. I allowed my human notions to lead me, and as a result, the path I walked on became narrower and narrower. However, after Master arranged for me to participate in the phone project, I began to adjust my cultivation state. Once while listening to a recording of a fellow practitioner’s phone call to mainland China, I saw many of my notions, as well as the gap between me and other practitioners. That event triggered my desire to join the phone team.
Eliminating attachments while participating in making phone calls to China
Before joining the phone team, I had strong attachment to fear. Therefore, at the beginning of the project, that attachment surfaced even more. To break through that attachment, I strengthened my righteous thoughts every day before making phone calls.
All kinds of challenges can take place while calling, nonetheless, I believe those challenges were there to test my righteous thoughts and how I deal with different situations. On the third day, I called a police woman. As soon as she heard me clarifying the truth about Dafa, she began to yell profanities at me. At that moment, I suddenly heard Master’s voice,
"What could human beings possibly do to gods? If there were no outside factors, would humans dare to do anything to gods? ("In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human," 2004)
Hearing these words, I felt that I was a divine being, and I calmed down; I became very peaceful, and I knew that some of the substances of my fear had been eliminated.
At the very beginning, sometimes someone would tell me that I was bothering them by calling. My mood was easily influenced because I believed that they were right. One day a policewoman told me that I interrupted her nap and then hung up. I could not gather enough courage to call her again. A fellow practitioner encouraged me to call her again. I searched inside and saw that I had not let go of myself. I called her back, and although she did not pick up, I broke through my own human notion. As I made more phone calls, my fears weakened, and my righteous thoughts were strengthened.
The attachment of competition appeared the strongest when I clarified the truth to Chinese on the phone. Clarifying the truth on the phone gave me the opportunity to see my attachment of competition, which was easily stirred up when the person I called held a negative attitude towards me. Master used all kinds of methods to help me eliminate my attachment to competition, however, I did not understand the hints that Master sent me because I believed that I did not need to be friendly, but wanted to frighten the persecutors.
One day I called the office manager of a 610 Office. My attachment of competition arose which caused me to get into an argument with him. In the end, neither one of us was happy. That evening, a fellow practitioner from Taiwan shared her experience of when she called someone and it woke up the person's child. Then, that person’s negative factors were instigated and he said that he wanted to arrest Dafa practitioners. After reading about that, I responded that if I were her, I would tell that person not to get involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, because if they did, the international community would not let them get by so easily. Another fellow practitioner responded that if a small child was awakened by us, we should apologize to them. We should demonstrate our compassion to ordinary people, and after that, we could go ahead and tell them the truth. After reading that response, I felt very uncomfortable because my attachments to fame and reputation were hurt. Recalling the argument I had with the person on the phone that afternoon, I knew that Master once again used that opportunity to help me eliminate my attachment to competition.
When I called the next day, Master arranged for predestined people to talk to me. A family member of a prison guard answered the phone, and even encouraged me. Eventually that person listened to the truth about Falun Gong, and also quit the Party's organizations. I was thrilled that I did not get into any conflicts with that person; however, I noticed that I was afraid of offending the listener, so I failed to describe clearly the responsibilities shouldered by those who are involved in the persecution.
As I continued to cultivate, I found out that behind my fear of offending and avoiding conflicts with people while talking on the phone, was actually the attachment of selfishness. Not telling people the truth about Falun Gong was not truly compassionate. One day before calling, I told myself to control my xinxing to avoid having conflicts with the listener. After sending-forth righteous thoughts for 15 minutes, I suddenly remembered that Master told us in “Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Vancouver, Canada” (2003):
"Actually, you know, be it Buddha Shakyamuni or some other God or Buddha, they know the thoughts of even cattle and horses, and they know the thoughts of even lower beings, they know it all, and fully, but they won't go inside there. They just know everything, that's all."
I realized that there was no need for me to empathize with what they might say; their comments should not affect me. At that moment, I became tranquil and calm. Consequently, when I talked to people on the phone again, I was more peaceful and patient. After my heart became righteous, my environment was also corrected, and all my phone calls that day went well; some listened to me for a long time. In the course of nine months, my attachment to competition had been lessened, piece by piece, while I clarified the truth on the phone.
Breaking through notions, experiencing divine mercy and dignity
In clarifying the truth to the people who worked for the agencies that directly participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, sometimes I found it difficult to balance being compassionate with the listeners and how much righteous strength I should use to shock those who were vicious. When I showed them my sentimental side, it seemed they used their hypocritical notions to deceive me. If I was not confident, they blamed me for harassing them; if I had fear, they told me that they would arrest me; if I wanted to compete with them, they would appear irrational. Everything occurred because I still had a human heart. I deeply realized that I must eliminate approaching this with a human heart and cultivate well so that I would gain more wisdom, compassion and dignity. Only by doing so could I offer salvation to people.
When I first joined the phone team, I conveyed “compassionate” thoughts to the listeners hoping that, in return, they would listen to me telling them the truth. Gradually, I saw my selfishness in daring not to irritate them because I wanted to protect my own feelings. For that reason, I did not tell people the truth in an open and upright manner. Afterwards, I adjusted my state of mind so that I was no longer worried about how they would feel after hearing the truth; I changed my approach by directly telling people the truth. In doing so, I am genuinely acting responsibly for them. When my basis was corrected, more and more wisdom just came to me.
Master pointed out to us in "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts Are Powerful,"
"No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates. If everyone does this the environment won't be this way "(Essentials For Further Advancement II)
I understand that by refusing to cooperate with the evil forces, we are actually being compassionate toward those who are controlled by them.
Master said in “Explaining the Fa during the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference”,
"In clarifying the truth, when a person's fundamental issues are touched, and at the same time he feels that Dafa disciples are truly saving him, then I think the side of him that's clear about things will emerge."
Making phone calls to clarify the truth to people has given me the opportunity to find the selfishness that had been guiding my actions. It was not what tone of voice I used, but whether or not I had a pure heart when I was offering salvation to people.
Falling into danger causes my righteous thoughts to emerge
At the end of December, the immigration office denied my application for political asylum. During that time, I had several sleepless nights because my mind was filled with worry. I knew that I must change completely. I began to search inside myself. Whenever my human heart surfaced, I told myself that I must trust Master and the Fa and must not use human notions to look at issues. Although my personal case was urgent, I should not let it stop me from making phone calls. Every morning, my thought karma and human notions were very strong. However, just as Master said,
“Cultivation is hard. It’s hard in that even when a terrible calamity strikes, even when evil madly persecutes, and even when your life is at stake, you still have to be able to steadfastly continue on your path of cultivation without letting anything in human society interfere with the steps you take on your path of cultivation.” (“Path” in Essentials for Further Advancement II)
After shifting back to the right foundation, I felt calm and peaceful as if lots of bad factors in me were eliminated. My asylum case did not matter to me anymore.
During the entire time, however, Master sent me hints several times that I had lust issues, but I failed to understand. The old forces hence had grasped that loophole. Master said,
“The truth is, losing this opportunity of the ages and not fulfilling the real purpose of coming to this world are more terrifying than the attachment of being too ashamed to face others." (“Pass the Deadly Test”)
I knew I must let go of my human heart, and therefore, disclosed my filthy past openly to fellow practitioners. After letting go of my human heart, I could feel that the evil forces’ interference was dismantled. Many fellow practitioners offered their help in getting needed materials ready for my case; they also accompanied me to talk with my lawyers, and sent forth righteous rights. The entire process allowed me to personally experience the mighty mercy of our Master.
After discussing my issues of lust with a western practitioner, I felt that another layer of substance was peeled off, and my heart was tranquil. On the same day, a fellow practitioner asked me to help make phone calls in a phone conference for the rescue team.
"Whatever you experience during your cultivation--whether good or bad--is good, for it comes about only because you are cultivating." (“To the Chicago Fa Conference”)
The process of applying for political asylum has given me any opportunity to understand cultivation from a different view.
I have had days when my situation was not good, and I did not want to make any phone calls. Yet, I am always touched by those fellow practitioners who have been telling the truth about Falun Gong to Chinese citizens for the past ten years. They are able to hold on to their righteous thoughts in face of difficulties, and from them, I am able to find my own weaknesses.
After making phone calls for a few months, my cultivation state has gone through a dramatic change; my righteous thoughts have been strengthened. I no longer find it hard to clarify the truth to Chinese people. When my mother was seriously ill, I treated her as a fellow practitioner. With faith in Master and Dafa, I encouraged her to strengthen her righteous thoughts. Currently, my mother’s condition is improving. Although I have come across many big hurdles recently, what has happened to me is just like what Master tells us, “If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: “After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead!”” (Zhuan Falun)
(Clearwisdom.net) What does a Falun Dafa practitioner who is helping Master rectify the Fa treasure most? My answer is time, because the current time has been extended by our mighty and merciful Master's tremendous endurance. The purpose is to have Dafa disciples save more beings in the world.
Yes. We need to use the time to study the Fa, practice the exercises, and to save sentient beings. Time is gold. However, money can't buy you time. Money can buy you almost anything in the world, but it can't buy back time that has passed. During the remaining limited interval, we should spend more time studying the Fa, letting more people know how the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has viciously and cruelly persecuted practitioners and poisoned all beings, and have the world's people be saved by learning the truth.
Some practitioners do not know to treasure the time. They spend a lot of time farming, and they don't keep up their Fa-study and exercises, let alone save sentient beings. Some may even take on an additional job. I feel sad for them. My fellow practitioners, you only look at the money you earn. Do you know how much your lost time is worth, and how many predestined people miss the chance of being saved? Isn't the purpose of our tens of thousands of years of reincarnations to help Master rectify the Fa, fulfill our ancient vows, reach consummation, and follow Master in returning to our real homes?
Master said,
“Opportunity knocks but once. Once the illusion that you cannot let go of disappears, you will realize what you have lost.” (“Practicing Cultivation After Retirement” from Essentials for Further Advancement)
Make good use of the time remaining. I was inspired by a story in the Minghui Weekly about some practitioners who did better in encouraging people to quit the CCP after memorizing the Fa. I also started to memorize the Fa, but it was hard. I then hand-copied the Fa, but hand-copying also required meticulous attention. I would first read, then hand-copy. I double checked my work after copying each sentence. To avoid using too much time during the day, I usually did it at night after 11:00 p.m. Sometimes, I copied the Fa until midnight, then sent righteous thoughts before going to sleep. I copied the Fa, despite having had little rest during the hot days. My state was improving, which laid a good foundation for saving more beings.
Before that, I was only willing to encourage acquaintances to quit the CCP while in the market. I sometimes ran into individuals who did not know the truth and who would shout at me in coarse language. I would get angry and shout back, thinking that they had committed severe sins by saying what they had said, and thinking that I was doing these things for their sake. I have since discarded that notion and encourage anyone, acquaintance or stranger, to quit the CCP. Now I do not get angry when someone shouts irrationally.
I am far behind those Dafa disciples who are diligent. My spouse does not step forward to clarify the truth or encourage people to quit the CCP, has attachments to fear, wastes precious time, and does not live up to Master's merciful and arduous salvation. I, of course, share the blame. I have not not helped the people around me to catch up. I lag behind in the Fa-rectification process. I will do my best to help my spouse, spend more time on Fa study, save more people, progress with diligence, and catch up with the Fa-rectification process.
(Clearwisdom.net) More Beijing residents have died of cancer than any other disease since 2007 according to the “Report on Cases of Terminal Cancer from 1995 to 2010 in Beijing” recently published by the Beijing Institute of Cancer Prevention and Cures. The report says cancer has been confirmed as the cause of death for 25% of deceased patients. Lung cancer is the top killer of men and breast cancer the top killer of women. Between 2000 and 2009, the number of people diagnosed with lung cancer increased by 56%, and the number diagnosed with breast cancer increased by 128%. Scientists have discovered that many different factors, including environment, diet, and lifestyle, contribute to cancer, and they believe that it is important to spread what they have learned about cancer to help people break away from the unhealthy lifestyles that are often precursors to the disease.
Recognized as incurable in the medical community, cancer constitutes a serious challenge for mankind. It has been a dream of scientists around the world to understand cancer's course and finally conquer it. In this article we discuss cancer from a new perspective, hoping that this may provide people with a new point of view and understanding of the disease.
In the Classics of Internal Medicines, an ancient classic text of Chinese medicine, an illness called Sedimentary Condensation is briefly analyzed and is believed to share some features similar to cancer, although the description about it is not detailed enough to know for sure. According to Classics, the causes of the Sedimentary Condensation could be either external or internal. An example of an internal cause could be overeating of cold or raw food which causes intestinal and gastric damage by creating a cold and humid climate inside the organs. If the external climate is cold, the internal coldness and external coldness will join and entangle with each other, forming some condensation, which could be further intensified by unbalanced mental health.
In the long run the internal energy circulation that keeps a person healthy could become stagnant and the Sedimentary Condensation forms. The above formation of Sedimentary Condensation shares many similarities with the formation of cancerous tumors observed by modern medicines. On one hand, both of them believe that the internal tumors are related to external environment. On the other hand, both of them emphasize the contribution of one's mental state to the formation of tumors. Modern western medicine has discovered that long-term poor mental health is a major contributor to cancerous tumors. In modern Chinese medicine, it is believed that the stagnant energy circulation, phlegm retention, blood stasis, and excessive internal heat could also be contributors to the formation of cancerous tumors. In the view of some religions, cancers are believed to be the manifestations of the sins or karma that the patient had created in their previous or current life through committing bad deeds.
It is widely accepted that many factors could contribute to human diseases, including cancer and other diseases. Yet some people possess inborn immunity to contagious disease and plagues, which medical experts find hard to explain. Diseases could be caused by different factors, including unhealthy lifestyle choices and environmental pollution, which could be further traced back to ethics. Ancient people regarded personal interests with indifference, respected the heavens, loved the people, and cherished blessings from the heavens. Living by such a philosophy, they maintained a pure and peaceful mind, living in harmony with nature. People in modern times disbelieve in the heavens and indulge themselves in material pursuit. This is particularly true in China nowadays. Instilled with the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) philosophy of “struggling” with heaven, earth, and man, many Chinese do whatever bad things they want. As a result, moral values in China have fallen and China's ecosystem and environment have deteriorated, perhaps irreversibly.
1. Pondering the Law of Causality between Good and Evil
It could be worthwhile to try to understand the ultimate cause of cancer from another point of view. In the ancient Chinese medicine book Su Wen (Plain Questions) there is a well known phrase: “Maintaining your righteousness and not giving way to illness”. That is to say, if a person can always behave himself in a noble way and be good to others he will be free from illness. This is particularly true nowadays, when the CCP's slanderous lies against Falun Gong, a traditional Chinese cultivation method based upon the universe's characteristic of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, permeate China. If a person can discern the truth from falsehood with his own conscience, he will make correct choices and end up with a destiny hugely different than if he makes incorrect choices.
Following are some stories that many believe to reflect karmic retribution coming to those who disbelieve the law of causality; that good deeds bring good returns and that evil deeds meet with retribution.
Liu Jing, chief of the Central Government 610 Office and deputy minister of the Police Ministry of the CCP, is plagued with cancer.
In early 2009, some 100 police officers from the Nanguanling Prison in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, underwent physical examinations. More than 10 were found to have cancer. Some of them collapsed after hearing the diagnosis. Such a high percentage of cancer caused quite a panic and questioning among the police officers.
Many cases similar to what happened to the police from the Nanguanling Prison have been reported elsewhere. For example, the sudden deaths of police officers from the Shangdi Police Station of Haidian District, Beijing in the past few years has stirred up quite a panic in the police station. With so many dead, the police station was shut down and merged with another police station.
Yang Shengshan, chief of the Office of Overall Control of Public Social Security of Huangxikou Town, Chenxi County, Hunan Province, had actively persecuted local Falun Gong practitioners, following CCP orders. He had ransacked the homes of Falun Gong practitioners, arrested them, and extorted money from the families of the arrested practitioners. In August 2009 he was found to have terminal rectal cancer, liver cancer and lung cancer. Many believe that this demonstrates heaven's law of karmic retribution that one must pay for what one has done.
Liang Wanjun was the chief of the security section of the People's Hospital of Laixi City, Shandong Province. He actively persecuted his colleagues who practiced Falun Gong, along with his superiors, claiming he was “cooperating with the leaders on the Falun Gong issue.” He personally monitored, shadowed, and detained practitioners, and led police to practitioners' homes to ransack them. He also deprived practitioners of their rights to holidays and even beat a practitioner. For persecuting Falun Gong he was rewarded by the Police Department of Qingdao City. Practitioners clarified the facts about Falun Gong to him many times and asked him to stop persecuting innocent people, but he refused to listen. He was also compassionately warned that he might receive karmic retribution for what he had done. In 2005 Liang was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and he died in great pain in May 2006 at the age of 46.
Qin Xianying was a cardiograph equipment operator in a hospital. Before 1999 she had read Zhuan Falun because her daughter is a Falun Gong practitioner. After the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong she treated it with resentment and tried to prevent her daughter from practicing by any means. Along with her husband, she closely watch her daughter, beat and verbally abused her, and even sent her to a brainwashing center in a labor camp. Her daughter was sent to a mental hospital twice by Qin despite being mentally healthy. Deceived by the CCP's lies about Falun Gong she did not only treat her daughter cruelly, but also spread slanderous lies against Falun Gong to other people, doing harm both to others and herself. She died of a lung cancer in 2005.
Lu Honglan was the chief of the Health Maintenance Center for Children and Women of Laixi City, Shandong Province. She was ordered by her superiors to brainwash Falun Gong practitioners and force them to write statements renouncing Falun Gong. She tried to force practitioners to give up practicing Falun Gong by fining them, confiscating their wages and bonuses, refusing to increase their wages, and reporting practitioners from her working section to the authorities. She died in 2009 of breast cancer, at the age of 49.
In Pingdu City, Shandong Province there is Nancun Village. In the past decade of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong all the Communist Party secretaries of the village died in succession of cancer. A person appointed to take the post died of cancer before he could take it. Deterred by this, no one dared to take the position any more, so the superiors of the village had to appoint someone as the deputy secretary. After a certain period of time they forced another person to take the position but he died mysteriously in 2008 less than one year after he took the post. Before he died, he called a local doctor, saying that he was not feeling well. The doctor then asked his son to transport him to the People's Hospital of Pingdu City in his car, but the doctors there simply could not lower his blood pressure after having tried all means. At noon the next day he died of rupture of his arteries.
Wan Mingchao, in his 50s, was a police officer from the Yunxi Street Police Station of Jiaozhou City, Qingdao, Shandong Province. He has closely followed the CCP to persecute Falun Gong since 1999. In 2010, he was diagnosed with a terminal cancer, and he died in late 2010. When the persecution first began, some practitioners clarified the facts about Falun Gong to him but he refused to listen. Instead he verbally abused and reported them to authorities. His neighbor was a Falun Gong practitioner. The neighbor had clarified the facts about Falun Gong many times, but he simply refused to listen.
Pu Yuguo, from the Fujunmiao Village of Liyuan Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province, had been a officer in charge of social security. In the past few years he followed the CCP to persecute Falun Gong. He is now plagued with cancer.
Liu Jianhua, former commissar of the Communist Party Committee of Qingdao City and secretary of the Political and Law Committee, had been the mastermind of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners from Qingdao. In 2005 he was found to have cancer and was sent to a hospital. According to some people who saw him, he is now badly out of shape and can hardly be recognized.
In contrast to the above stories, the following stories are about those who recovered from cancer because of their understanding about the facts about Falun Gong.
A police officer from a small town in Liaoning Province had privately released Falun Gong practitioners three times when he was ordered to arrest them. In late January 2005 he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. The doctors operated on him but had to give up the surgery when they found that tumors permeated his whole lung and trachea. They told him that he could not survive the next month. After he returned home he borrowed Zhuan Falun from his daughter-in-law, who was a Falun Gong practitioner. Seven days later he could move around freely. Now he is in good health, and shows no traces of having been a cancer patient.
Mr. Dong, from Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, was diagnosed with lung cancer in a local hospital after developing acute headache and coma proneness in June 2011. He was immediately sent to a hospital in Kunming City, Yunnan Province. The doctors there also diagnosed him with lung cancer and issued him an emergency notification. His mother-in-law is a Falun Gong practitioner. She told him to say “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good.” He followed her suggestion and did that faithfully. In a later physical examination he was told that it was not lung cancer but a problem in the brain. The doctors said that his case was very rare. After two months in the hospital, he recovered well, which quite surprised the doctors. Now Mr. Dong is in quite good shape, except for residual clumsiness in his limbs.
Mr. Yang is a retired worker from the Ferro Mine of Laiwu City, Shandong Province. In October 2009 he was diagnosed with terminal gastric cancer. In late October he had an operation and had 80% of his stomach removed. He then underwent several months of radiation treatment and suffered a lot from it. In early December 2009 the cancer returned and he had to had another operation, when doctors found that the cancerous cells had already irreversibly proliferated. Knowing that they could not save his life, they told him to go home and prepare to die. His younger brother and his wife came from another city to see him. His sister-in-law, a Falun Gong practitioner, told him to say “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He believed her and began to read the words over and over. After about ten hours of reading loudly he felt a little tired and he thought: “My wife is coming home soon. She will not like me to do so.” Then he read the words in his mind. It was about 20 days before the Chinese New Year. From then on Mr. Yang began to recover day by day, which surprised his doctors as they never thought that he could survive the Chinese New Year. Later his sister-in-law brought him some truth-clarification materials about Falun Gong. Besides reading them himself, he also shared them with his roommates in the hospital and their family members. He even gave the truth-clarification video CD to his doctors, saying, ”You better watch it at home and you will definitely benefit from it.” Now, two years after Mr. Yang was sentenced to death, he is in perfect health.
A woman in her 70s had suffered from cancer before, but enjoyed several years of remission before her symptoms returned. The mother of her son's boss was a Falun Gong practitioner. Seeing her condition, the practitioner played the audio Falun Gong lectures to her. After a little while of listening she felt much better. The practitioner also advised the woman to recite the words “Falun Dafa is good.” After she went home she spoke aloud “Falun Dafa is good” every day and asked Master Li, the founder of Falun Gong, to save her. Her son took her to a hospital for a physical examination and she was found to have some hydrochloride in her stomach but the previous cancerous tumor was miraculously gone. When her husband saw the mother of his son's boss, he said, “I thought that my wife's cancer was incurable, and I never thought that she could recover so well. I believe in Falun Dafa. It is Dafa that has saved my wife.” Several days later the woman went back to do the farming work with her husband.
2. Living Miracles: A New Life for Cancer Patients
The stories above provide some compelling evidence of the heavenly law of causality: that good receives good returns while evil meets with retribution. Among Falun Gong practitioners, there are even more cases of recovery from terminal illness after practicing Falun Gong. The Minghui website published a collection of these cases as the book “Rescued from A Desperate Situation.”
Minghui publication: Rescued from A Desperate Situation
Many stories about cancer patients who regained their health after practicing Falun Gong have been published on the pages of the Minghui website and its English language version, Clearwisdom. The following table enumerates a small number of these stories.
When a person is plagued with terminal disease he is also plagued with unspeakable desperation, helplessness, and fear, knowing that his days are numbered and feeling that the only thing he can do is to wait for and prepare for his imminent end.
When such people regain their health and begin to perceive the true meaning of their lives, they acquire a new life of health and optimism and their happiness and excitement are indescribable to others. Among Falun Gong practitioners there are many people like that. When their lives were coming to an end they encountered Falun Gong and became the happiest people in the world.
Amidst the CCP's overwhelming slanderous lies against Falun Gong and its relentless persecution, countless practitioners stand out to clarify the facts – to talk to people publicly about the practice and the persecution. They do this for sake of all people, for they do not want to see the people miss the most valuable opportunity of regaining their health, understanding the true meaning of life and entering the new era to come.
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Xing, who came to Toronto to visit his relatives from Mainland China, had learned and benefited from Falun Gong in China. In Toronto, he was lucky enough to attend a nine-day Falun Gong class where he conversed with other practitioners about cultivation, and realized the importance of studying the Fa and elevating one’s xinxing in cultivation.
Mr. Xing retired 17 years ago. His back was injured when he was sent to the countryside during the Cultural Revolution. It was later diagnosed as a lumbar disk herniation. It got worse as he got older, and after a fall in 2007, he was unable to stand straight. The doctor said he needed an operation, which could involve considerable risks.
A retired police station chief suggested that he practice Falun Gong after learning about his situation. The chief himself was practicing it at home. He lent Mr. Xing a copy of Zhuan Falun, and taught him the exercises.
Two months into his practice, Mr. Xing could stand straight, and the pain lessened. Two more months later, he had an examination and the doctor was surprised to find that his herniated disk had healed. Due to the persecution, Mr. Xing did not dare to tell him that it was from practicing Falun Gong.
Mrs. Xing fell in 2005 and broke her leg. She had an operation, but the recovery did not go well. In 2007, she injured her back in another fall. Seeing the change in her husband, she began to practice Falun Gong too and recovered soon after.
Mr. and Mrs. Xing came to Toronto to visit their relatives. They attended a nine-day class in March 2011. Mr. Xing said that Dafa is very profound. He felt that he did not truly understand it when he was in China, and sharing experiences with other practitioners in the class helped him a lot.
He said it is great that people in Canada can attend the group studies and exercises, and share cultivation experiences with fellow practitioners. In China, one can only practice alone in secrecy at home. He was also grateful to have access to Teacher's recent lectures while in Canada, which he could not find in China.
Mr. and Mrs. Xing now often attends the group Fa study. Twice a week, they walk for 35 minutes to the practice site to do the exercises.
In China, he discovered the physical improvements Falun Dafa brings, but after coming to Canada he realized the profound impact of the spiritual teachings. “Falun Gong is not just for good health. It is more important to improve one’s xinxing, elevate one’s level, and return to one's original self.”
