(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Mr. Wang Gang was arrested on August 30, 2011, and taken to Yichun City Brainwashing Center. The seizure was carried out by personnel from his workplace led by the director of Harbin City General Post Office, Feng Qianming, and the head of the security division, Mei Yansong.

At 11:30 a.m. that day, Harbin City General Post Office employees went to Mr. Wang's home with bags of rice and bottles of soybean oil. They claimed they were there to assist Mr. Wang's family. Once they were allowed inside however, they tried to take Mr. Wang away and told his wife that they were going to take him to Yichun City to do some “studying.” Mr. Wang's family asked Feng Qianming and Mei Yansong why they were taking him away and told them that his wife was ill and would not be able to stand the sudden shock. Feng and Mei first tried to evade the question, offering all kinds of excuses. Later they resorted to outright cursing.

In June 2008, the post office where Mr. Wang worked found some letters with information about Falun Gong addressed to the provincial government. The post office authorities suspected that Mr. Wang had mailed the letters, and they colluded with the local 610 Office and the police, who then arrested and interrogated him. Later, the local court sentenced Mr. Wang to three years in prison.

His wife could not stand the shock and suffered a mental collapse. She has to rely on medication every day and is unable sleep at night without it.

Prior to the 2008 Olympic Games, the post office authorities detained Mr. Wang for many days in Wudalianchi and assigned personnel to monitor him.

Mr. Wang's younger brother, Wang Cheng, has been detained for years. As a result, his family was destroyed, and he lost his job. He now barely earns a living by working temporary jobs out of town.
