September 22, 2010 |   By a Clearwisdom correspondent from Shandong Province, China.

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 11, 2010, around five officers from the National Security Team at the Zhaoyuan Police Bureau, Shandong Province, went to the home of Mr. Liu Shuwen and attempted to arrest him. Mr. Liu is a Falun Gong practitioner from Kuang Village, Yingzhuang, Zhaoyuan City. Since he was not at home, they were not successful.

On August 1 the officers went again to Mr. Liu's home and found the door locked. When they were seen searching everywhere, villagers told the police, "Liu Shuwen is nearly 80 years old and he did not commit any crime. Why do you want to arrest him?" After being reproached, the police left.

On August 6 the officers rushed to Liu Shuwen's home. His wife was there, so the police asked her where her husband was. She told them that Mr. Liu was away on a business trip. They did not see Mr. Liu, but they stole the DVD player and CDs from his home. His wife protested, "You cannot take our personal belongings!" The police threatened her, saying, "If you keep that up, we will arrest you." She stepped forward and said, "Well, arrest me then." They did not know what to say and left.

On August 17, 2010, led by Yang Zhenqing, a member of the 610 Office in Xiadian Town, several officers from the National Security Team of the Zhaoyuan Police Bureau went to harass Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Xuezhen in Dongzhaike Village. They attempted to arrest her, but left in disgrace amidst condemnation from Ms. Liu's fellow villagers.
