(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Xu Decun from Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province had been living away from home for nine years to avoid persecution from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). However, local police found and illegally arrested her on May 1, 2010. Since then, she has been interrogated under torture numerous times. She was held in the Yuelou Detention Center for more than one month and then given a two-year prison term, without any evidence proving that she had broken the law. She is now in Jinan Women's Prison.
CCP agents listened in on the previously tapped phones of Ms. Xu Decun's relatives in the days leading up to May of 2010. Her husband and son were frequently intimidated and subjected to long-term monitoring by plainclothes police. The police later conducted a large-scale search of Falun Gong practitioners in the Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City the morning of May 1, 2010.
Armed and plainclothes police blocked access to Changjiang West Road in an attempt to locate practitioners. Ms. Xu's son Mr. Du Tei was followed on his way to work, and was later arrested as he arrived on his bicycle at the Changjiang intersection. The police beat Mr. Du and forced him to return home and open the door for them. His mother, Ms. Xu, was at home and was arrested as well.
