Korea: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally and March to Call for an End to the Persecution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners held a rally at Wongok-dong Children's Park in the Danwon District of Korea's Ansan City on July 18. The theme of the rally was, "End the persecution of Falun Gong and bring those responsible to justice." The rally was followed by a march through the downtown area where many Chinese people live and shop.

On July 18, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea held a rally to protest the 11-year-long persecution in China.

A 33ft by 10ft banner reading "Disintegrating the Chinese Communist Party is the only way to stop the persecution" was prominently displayed at the rally. Zheng Xianzhu, from the Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), said to the attendees, "It's impossible for the CCP to eliminate Falun Gong now. People around the world have realized the CCP's evil nature. Over seventy million Chinese people have already quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, which is bringing the CCP to its end."

According to Zheng, more and more people are now starting to come to the Service Center to quit the CCP. "They understand what the CCP has done in the persecution of Falun Gong."

Zheng Qiuchen from the Korea Pan-national Alliance for Judicial Reform condemned the persecution of Falun Gong. "It's infuriating that the CCP takes Falun Gong practitioners' organs while they are still alive and profits from selling them. The Alliance will continue to monitor the persecution and call on the world's people of justice to work together to end it."

This was Ms. Liu's first time in Korea. After she saw the rally, she told a practitioner, "A former colleague of mine is a practitioner. He was especially kind and never took advantage of others. The 610 Office agents arrested him because of his practice. Everyone in the company curses the CCP and says it will collapse soon."

Practitioners Dr. Wu Shilie and former Olympic athlete Huang Xiaomin speak at the rally.

Wu Shilie has a Ph.D. in law. He said that it's been 11 years since the persecution started on July 20, 1999. "The CCP claimed it would eradicate Falun Gong in three months. It failed. Later it staged the 'Tiananmen self-immolation' to defame and frame the practice. The CCP's propaganda to defame Falun Gong once fooled everyone in the world. In 2006 two independent investigators from Canada published a report that shocked the world. The report exposed all the brutality and inhumane torture used against Falun Gong and disclosed the extravagant profit the CCP made from selling organs obtained from living practitioners."

"The CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners outside of China has also failed. On September 13, 2009, the CCP's secret agents assaulted Falun Gong practitioners in Suwan City, and the court convicted two of them and sentenced them to serve time in prison."

According to Mr. Wu, more and more people in Korea have started to practice Falun Gong and become practitioners after learning the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution.

After the rally, practitioners held a grand march to let more Chinese residents and tourists know about the goodness of Falun Dafa and the facts of the persecution.
