Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Deputy Secretary Wang Shuhan Of Changchun City's Shuangyang District Politics and Law Enforcement Bureau Meets an Untimely Death

Deputy Secretary Wang Shuhan actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and was directly involved in sentencing dozens of practitioners to prison terms and forced labor.

Practitioners had attempted to clarify the truth to him multiple times and warned him that he would soon have to pay for his misdeeds if he did not stop persecuting practitioners. He asked arrogantly, "I have sentenced so many of you to prison terms. If what you say is true, why hasn't something already happened to me?"

At around 10 p.m. of June 2, 2010, he died in a car crash on his way from Shuangyang City to Changchun City.

Policeman Xu Xuewen of Wuxue City Police Department's National Security Team Has Mental Breakdown

Policeman Xu Xuewen of Wuxue City Police Department's National Security Team, Hubei Province, has actively followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s policy of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners during the past ten years. Many practitioners were beaten and had their homes ransacked by Xu. He was also directly involved in the arrests of Wuxue City practitioners Fang Tianming and Zeng Zheng.

In mid-December of 2009, Xu Xuewen suddenly started ranting, climbed up on the roof of his home, and threatened to jump. His family stopped him and, with his coworkers' help, sent him to the local hospital. He currently remains hospitalized and is receiving medical treatment. People familiar with the situation believe this may be an example of karmic retribution.

CCP Officials Involved in the Persecution in Qinglong Town Stricken With Terminal Illness

Since July 20, 1999, the CCP officials of Dayingzi Village of Qinglong Town, Qinglong County, Qinhuangdao City have been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. They participated in persecuting two practitioners to death, one of whom was from another village. They participated in sentencing two practitioners to seven years of forced labor. They frequently harassed practitioners and ordered the local police station to arrest practitioners. They have confiscated many practitioners' personal belongings and also forced practitioners to step on Teacher's photo.

The village head Song Pingxiang died of a heart attack in 2007. CCP Secretary Song Ruixiang was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2009 and died on January 20, 2010. The Women's Affairs Office head is on the verge of death.

Many would say that they have brought tragedy to their own families by making the choice to be a part of the persecution. What do you think?
