Human Notions Involved in Collection of Funds among Practitioners

May 30, 2010 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) The practice of Falun Dafa targets elimination of human notions. Only when we do well in cultivating ourselves, can we truly do well in validating the teachings and clarifying the facts of Falun Dafa to other people. However, some of us still act and speak based on what ordinary people consider to be good or exciting, instead of the Fa principles that Teacher taught us. As a result, they become involved in collecting money among practitioners, in the name of validating the Fa. When other practitioners point this out, they become angry, feel wrongly accused, or simply use another excuse to collect funds. These are all reflections of human notions and reveal that these practitioners do not know how to follow the teachings on this issue. These practitioners need to wake up and learn how to truly cultivate. They need to calm down and study the Fa immediately.

Some practitioners, despite being persecuted, still cannot let go of selfish personal desires. They did not use righteous thoughts to steer their thinking, and were thus persecuted even worse. When they were finally released, they still focused on validating themselves, as if this were more important than anything else. These practitioners, whether in mainland China, or overseas, have continued to interfere with other practitioners and impede their own practice as well. Li Xin is a typical example. She traveled from China to Canada and has been doing what makes the Chinese secret agents happy. She continues to ask for money from mainland China practitioners, supposedly to do Dafa work overseas.

Teacher said in Teaching the Fa at the Founding Ceremony of the Singaporean Falun Dafa Association, "Actually, cultivation itself is not hard; to abandon the ordinary human thinking and attachments is what's hardest." Only those who dare to let go of the human mindset and attachments can become true cultivators.
